00:00 Kay Beckinsale celebrated her birthday with an epic bash.
00:05 The actress turned 50 on July 26 and partied the night away with her A-list friends, including
00:10 Demi Moore, James Marsden, Demi Lovato, Adam Lambert, and more.
00:15 Over the weekend, the click star threw an epic party in Los Angeles and looked stunning
00:19 in a red velvet dress with a thigh-high slit.
00:23 But one outfit wasn't enough.
00:25 She later changed into a shimmering silver bodysuit with a lavish feather shawl.
00:31 The Underwood star shared videos from the fun night on her Instagram story, including
00:34 a clip of her blowing out her cake and dancing with friends.
00:38 One special star in attendance was Jeremy Renner, who ditched his walking cane for the
00:42 event.
00:44 The Marvel star was spotted walking without a cane alongside his pal Casey Affleck.
00:49 This is the first time Jeremy has been photographed walking in public without some extra support
00:53 since his terrifying snowplow incident in January.
00:57 The scary incident left him with more than 30 broken bones.
01:02 Access Hollywood's Scott Evans spoke to Jeremy in April at the premiere of his show
01:05 Renovations.
01:07 And he talked about his recovery and admitted he still has love for the vehicle that nearly
01:12 took his life.
01:13 "Mr. Renner, how you doing man?
01:15 Jeremy, good to see you brother, really and truly.
01:18 I feel like you are one of those people, I was talking to Rory earlier, you're one of
01:22 those people that set a goal for yourself and every day you work toward that goal.
01:27 And I know it must have been a goal to make sure that this premiere happened and for you
01:33 to be walking on it.
01:34 Is that right?"
01:35 "Yeah, yeah.
01:36 That's, you know, I think everybody needs something to look forward to in life, especially
01:39 like when we had our COVID years and all that.
01:41 Everybody needs to have something to look forward to and find some sort of joy in life.
01:47 And for me it was about recovery, outside of personal goals and getting better for my
01:53 daughter was this show.
01:55 And the show was setting intentions to certain milestones of my recovery to get better.
02:02 Because we worked all so hard to make this happen.
02:05 I wasn't going to allow some stupid snowplow to stop me or stop this show from coming out.
02:10 It's not…
02:11 "Some little thing."
02:12 "There's so many kids and so many things I want to be doing to help kids and I'm not
02:17 going to let any of these things, you know, slow or stop the process.
02:20 That's for sure."
02:21 "Well, in one of the clips that we got for the show, you talked about the word 'wonderment,'
02:26 right?
02:27 The wonderment that you found in being the scarecrow traveling in college to perform
02:31 for these kids.
02:32 I'm curious what the word is for you now, having lived through and been through what
02:36 you've been through.
02:37 What is the word that is your motivation these days?
02:40 Like, what are you meditating on right now?"
02:43 "Um…
02:44 What would that be?
02:47 I don't know.
02:49 I mean, gratitude, I suppose.
02:52 I have a lot of gratitude.
02:55 But yeah, certainly I always look for wonderment.
02:57 That's magic.
02:58 You know, kids are magic.
03:00 That's why I'm so inspired to give kids opportunities that they should have.
03:05 And you'd be surprised how many kids just don't have opportunities.
03:08 Me having finding…
03:09 I didn't find acting until I was in college.
03:11 And that's when I found the scarecrow and the thing.
03:14 And now I have a whole career in acting because of some random elective I took in college.
03:18 Well, how about if we had a lot of those opportunities for kids at a younger age to have access to
03:26 musical instruments like in this bus.
03:28 A lot of kids in the west side of Chicago don't get their hands on instruments.
03:33 You know what I mean?"
03:34 "And you help them unlock that same passion, that same love."
03:36 "Yeah, man."
03:37 "And if they don't have the opportunity, they're told, 'Hey, this is what a drum
03:41 set looks like,' or 'This is what a clarinet looks like,' or whatever.
03:44 You know what I mean?"
03:45 "The show is meant to renovate these vehicles.
03:48 Tell me, what is the plan for the snowplow?"
03:50 "That's the one.
03:53 I love that vehicle.
03:54 That's not going anywhere.
03:55 As much as my mom wants to burn it, I'm like, 'No, Mom.
04:00 It's going to be something that I'm not getting rid of.'
04:03 But it's a necessity for the property.
04:05 I'll just be smarter with it, I suppose."
04:08 "I'll leave you with this.
04:09 Rory talked to me about his friendship with you and how much you mean to him.
04:13 And I'm just curious if you'd let me in a little bit on what he means to you."
04:17 "Oh, well, I love him, man.
04:20 To me, even when I was pitching this show to Disney, I always figured Mowgli and Baloo
04:25 from the Jungle Book.
04:27 You can cast that already, right, what that is.
04:30 He's got a wonderful, sort of, Baloo kind of charm to him.
04:36 He's loud, he's frustrating.
04:37 The best part of my day is when he's walking away and leaving.
04:42 But I enjoy him so much.
04:43 But I really enjoy it when he leaves."
04:45 "I know, isn't that right?
04:46 Brother man."
04:47 "I'm so good to see you, brother.
04:48 Much love."
04:49 "Really true."
04:49 "I'm so good to see you, brother.
04:50 Much love."
04:51 "Really true."
04:52 "Really true."
