00:00 Hello mga Kapamilya! Bago pa man umarakada si Ray Parks sa International Basketball, he played for the NU Bulldogs.

00:06 Narito ang kanyang UAP Basketball Highlights.

00:27 Well, everybody knows naman yung tatay ko naglaro din sa Pilipinas bilang import.

00:31 So, yung start of love for basketball, dun nagsimula.

00:34 Four years old pa lang naglaro ako ng basketball, mayilig na ako sa bola.

00:38 I fell in love with the game.

00:39 Blessing talaga, sobrang ano eh, isang karahalan talaga na marahod na UAP FTP,

00:56 let alone back-to-back.

00:57 It was a great experience like what I said.

00:59 Na-enjoy ko yung years na I was playing hard on the court as I am now.

01:04 And for people to appreciate it, yun talaga yung kita dun.

01:08 It's sad na we wasn't able to attain our goal and to win the championship when I was there,

01:13 pero it was in the right direction in a sense.

01:16 And like I said, just all the hard work na nangkitalgan namin,

01:20 maaga pagigising, two-a-day, three-a-day trainings, talaga nagshow siya, nagblossom siya.

01:26 San Miguel, Alab, Pilipinas!

01:28 Hindi man ako nanaro ng championship at the amateur level, yung UAP.

01:33 Getting my first really championship as a pro is sa Alab, so it was very special.

01:40 And yung last season na nakanoon talaga ako ng laro ng ABList, yung nagcoach pa yung dad ko.

01:47 So very sentimental siya sa akin.

01:49 It was something na nagusto ko ituloy para sa kanya.

01:51 It was a blessed year.

01:52 It was a great year na I felt I was able to see a lot of things.

01:57 I grew as a basketball player talaga, winning the back-to-back na local,

02:02 then finals MVP, then the championship.

02:04 So sobrang blessing talaga ni God lahat.

02:06 Don't let anybody tell you na hindi mo kaya.

02:09 Madaming haters, madaming magdadoubt sa 'yo,

02:11 pero keep a good circle around you na believes in you and that is genuinely there for you.

02:15 Sobrang nakakapride maging nasyonal yan because we take pride in,

02:19 even though we're the underdogs the whole time.

02:28 Ray Parks strived for the NBA draft in 2015 at naglaro din siya para sa Alam Pilipinas.

02:35 At patuloy din niyang binabandera ang bansa together with other pro players sa Gilas Pilipinas.

02:40 He now currently plays for the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins sa Japanese B-League.
