00:22 they're worried about Bryce Hall,
00:23 that he may not be 100% ready to go.

00:30 I think he's young enough to come back from that ACL
00:33 and be a badass that he was last year before he got hurt.
00:36 What do you know about Cook's visit with the Jets?
00:40 - All right, here's the thing.
00:40 Let's start off with Bryce Hall.

00:43 I'm told here, it's not a question
00:46 whether he'll be available early in the season.
00:49 What the front office of coaches don't know
00:50 is how many carries could he handle?
00:52 What kind of volume could he handle?
00:54 He's only active physically and unable to perform less.
00:56 He can't practice right now.
00:58 He didn't do anything other than rehab
00:59 during their OTA season.

01:03 you wanna be as good as you can at every position.
01:06 They made the massive trade for Aaron Rodgers.
01:08 They've got Bryce Hall coming off this major injury.
01:11 The West Coast offense that they're running,
01:13 it's an old school West Coast offense.
01:15 When you run this offense, it starts with a run game
01:17 and everything you do off of that with a pass game,
01:20 it starts with a run game.
01:22 And to do that, you have to be better at running back.
01:24 And you're right, if Bryce Hall didn't get hurt,
01:25 they're not talking about Delvin Cook.
01:27 I'm told for several weeks now,
01:29 they've talked about internally.
01:30 They made this decision to bring him in.
01:32 He can get, by the way, he can get a physical there.
01:33 They could see where his knee is at, excuse me,
01:35 his surgically repaired shoulder is.
01:38 Cook has told people that his surgically repaired shoulder
01:42 should be good to go by the start of training camp.
01:45 Well, we've started training camps now.
01:47 So the thing would be, he would be cleared.
01:49 And now here's the thing though with Delvin Cook.
01:52 Miami has had interest, the Patriots have had interest.
01:55 The best team for him to sign with,
01:56 where he could definitely be the guy,
01:58 would be with the Dolphins.
01:59 But they've got 9 million invested already at running back.
02:02 They want him, they have interest,
02:03 but they're not looking to pay big money.
02:05 Remember Cook, the total compensation
02:07 the Vikings owed him was 10.4 million,
02:09 only 2.2 million of it was fully guaranteed.
02:12 So he's gonna look to make some of that up.
02:14 The money though, Frell's not out there right now.
02:16 That's why he's still available,
02:18 but he's gonna visit the Jets.

02:38 is Zonovan Bam Knight,
02:40 he took that number two role last year.
02:43 After Hall got hurt, he took over as a starter, not Carter,
02:46 but Carter's back in good graces
02:48 and he is the number two running back.
02:49 - Okay, so look, is this merely the Jets
02:54 trying, first of all, he's not gonna sign with the Dolphins
02:57 'cause they're not gonna pay him.
02:58 So it reminds me of D-Hop.

03:38 and money's not a factor here, but you also have a budget.
03:41 You're not gonna invest $10 million in a running back
03:43 who's 28 years old, coming back from major shoulder surgery.
03:47 Though, I'll say this about Dalvin Cook.
03:49 Give this guy credit.
03:50 With that shoulder injury,
03:51 he played all 17 games last season for the Vikings,
03:54 showing incredible toughness.
03:55 But again, he's gonna visit, and more often than not,
03:59 Pharrell, these things get done,
04:01 where they don't want the running back
04:02 to leave without a deal.
04:03 Sometimes they do.
04:03 You saw D-Hop leave without a deal with the Patriots,
04:06 but he's now with Tennessee.
