00:00 I think when you think about women in music, Sinead was such a trailblazer and one of a
00:09 kind. When I was a child and I heard Nothing Compares to You, it stuck with me. She had
00:14 this transcendental voice, but the more I learn about her, she was provocative, unapologetically
00:23 honest, and I think that she was an artist. She was a real artist. I will be going and
00:31 listening to her albums when we leave.
00:35 I think Sinead O'Connor was absolutely influential for everybody in the country of Ireland. No
00:42 matter what genre of music you're into, no matter where you're from on the social spectrum,
00:47 no matter your background, I think Sinead O'Connor was an absolutely inspirational legend
00:52 to everybody. Somebody that we would have been aware of in the public eye from a very
00:58 young age, and I think it's really shocking and heartbreaking to find out about her death.
01:04 She was an icon. It's such a shame, it's a big loss, and I was very shocked to read that
01:11 when I was flying in from here that Sinead O'Connor died, so I'm sending my love to her
01:16 family and also to the rest of the world because she's a legend. Incredible, iconic woman in
01:23 music, actually. Someone really to look up to and be inspired by.
