00:00 Even if a company has a budget of 2 crore rupees, you know, the maximum we could take
00:10 was 6,000 rupees.
00:11 So we said we need products that add value, we need products that create more value, we
00:16 need products and therefore you can realize a higher value.
00:19 So basically a higher price.
00:20 You can have a larger share of wallet.
00:22 So we produced new products.
00:24 Simultaneously we rolled out a sales team.
00:26 Before that we were selling by direct mail.
00:29 And we discovered that a good sales guy within three months would break even on his own cost
00:32 and start delivering a surplus.
00:35 So we said each sales person is a profit center, potentially.
00:39 So let's keep on adding more and more sales people in the market.
00:42 Till the last sales guy does not break even on his own cost, which means the market is
00:47 saturated.
00:48 We never got to that point, but you know in about two years time we had nine branches,
00:52 sales offices and we had about 230 sales guys, sales people and they were all making money
01:00 on their own cost and delivering a surplus which was defraying the overheads.
01:04 And that's how we grew and broke even.
