00:00 We will have some travel trouble on Thursday to no surprise and the late week forecast does show some storms.
00:05 A lot of these in the northeast are going to be on that Thursday afternoon and early evening time frame.
00:11 So look out for some gusty storms, even some of these farther south of the areas around Washington, D.C.
00:15 And then the heat takes over for Friday for many of us in the northeast.
00:19 Also, there will be some occasional storminess in the northern plains and parts of Florida at times,
00:24 but fewer than normal storms across the rest of the southeast.
00:27 Let's get into the details for our city-by-city travel outlook.
00:30 Most of the northwest looks good. It will get a little breezy in the afternoon into Reno,
00:34 and some scattered storms will break out into Helena, Montana.
00:37 Also, some scattered storms into the Denver area near Albuquerque as well.
00:40 And wind is our issue into San Francisco and Las Vegas.
00:43 Minimal travel trouble tied to those issues farther west.
00:47 Scattered storms also into Casper. Look out near Minneapolis.
00:50 Some of those storms could be gusty in the afternoon or evening,
00:52 but then it's just hot and dry. Omaha to Kansas City, down through the south-central U.S.
00:57 Good travel weather, but don't break down with that kind of heat in Little Rock.
01:00 100 degrees on the nose, 97 in Atlanta.
01:03 Scattered storms will break out in the afternoon into Florida,
01:06 with a little extra moisture coming in from the south, from the Ohio Valley to the lower Great Lakes.
01:10 We're in better shape than we were, at least earlier today, that's for sure.
01:13 But some of the storms could be severe into places like Boston, Massachusetts, and also down I-95.
01:19 Gusty winds, even some localized flash flooding.
01:21 You can see it's going to be a very active day with some major travel trouble there.
01:24 And the flight cancellations will peak Thursday and Friday into Saturday,
01:28 with some additional storms in the northeast and the north-central U.S. as well.
