00:00 Why wasn't it able to get done?
00:01 Again, like we talked for over nine and a half months
00:05 and we came to kind of a landing spot
00:07 and they came to a landing spot
00:08 and we couldn't bridge the gap.
00:10 Like I said, that's okay.
00:11 Like Saquon has to do what's best with him,
00:13 you know, for him and his family.
00:15 And I respect the hell out of Saquon.
00:16 And I'm never gonna tell somebody to do something
00:20 that they don't think is right.
00:21 So again, I respect Saquon, I admire him.
00:23 I'm glad he's here.
00:24 Again, we weren't able to get something done long-term,
00:26 but he's here and you know, I'm again,
00:29 fired up that he's gonna be on the field today.
00:30 - You don't spend nine and a half months on this
00:32 if you don't wanna get something done.
00:34 So as soon as the deadline passed,
00:38 you know, I called his representative said,
00:39 "Okay, it's like, that's all in the past.
00:42 There's nothing we can do about it.
00:43 What we can focus on is how to get Saquon here on Tuesday."
00:46 So that was our main focus for the rest of the time.
00:48 And I commend, you know, Ed Berry and CAA.
00:51 And you know, again, we, you know,
00:53 a lot of communication back and forth
00:54 and phone calls and spitballing, you know,
00:56 different ideas and just really excited and glad
00:59 that we were able to get Saquon here yesterday.
