00:00 14-year-old Cheyenne Lee Tattnall was last seen crossing the Henry Street Bridge, which
00:06 crosses over the North Esk River, on the night of April 30.
00:10 We understand she was on her way to visit a friend in a nearby suburb, but never made
00:15 it.
00:16 Since her disappearance, police have conducted a number of land, air and river searches,
00:21 but so far have found no clues leading to her.
00:24 Today's was the biggest search so far.
00:27 More than 160 officers and SES personnel took part, covering a large 50-square-kilometre
00:33 area of land in Nabola, which is northeast of Launceston.
00:38 The rescue helicopter, drones, a police dog and mounted rescue personnel all took part.
00:44 It's the largest search for northern Tasmania in history.
00:48 Police say there's still the possibility the teenager has met with foul play, and say it's
00:53 possible there's a criminal element to the case.
00:56 Detectives say they're in regular contact with the family, who are desperate for answers.
01:02 We will not rest.
01:04 We will not rest until we have those answers, and today is an example of the effort that
01:09 we're prepared to go to, to find those answers.
01:12 The search today didn't find anything that police think links to the missing teenager,
01:17 but they're not giving up hope.
01:19 The search will continue tomorrow and into Friday.
01:23 Anyone with information about where Cheyenne is, is asked to come forward.
