Un an après son premier succès sur le Tour de France, Jonas Vingegaard a doublé la mise ! Ne montrant (presque) aucun signe de faiblesse tout au long des trois semaines de courses, le Danois de la Jumbo-Visma a porté deux coups de massues sur ce Tour, lors des étapes 16 et 17, qui lui ont permis de renouveler cet exploit. Entouré de la meilleure équipe, mais aussi en étant le plus fort en montagne et sur le contre-le-montre, Vingegaard était sans aucun doute le plus fort de cette 110e édition et mérite amplement cette victoire.
