POUNDCAKE Movie Trailer HD - Plot synopsis: A brutal serial killer is rampantly taking the lives of heterosexual white males in the heart of New York City. Their plight seems to largely go unnoticed. Each night, this formidable monster, brandishing heavy chains, prowls the harsh streets of Manhattan, searching for his next prey to torment in unimaginable ways. As the digital sphere buzzes with discussions - from podcasters to social influencers - about the murders in relation to socio-political debates, #MeToo, Black Lives Matter, and other timely topics, the remorseless killer proceeds with his bloodshed unabated. Drawing inspiration from 1980s horror legends such as Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers, alongside Spike Lee's SUMMER OF SAM, POUNDCAKE is a unique fusion of classic horror and current socio-political commentary, blending the elements of suspenseful horror with contemporary political discussions.

Directed by Onur Tukel. POUNDCAKE stars Ron Brice, Eva Dorrepaal, Pia Paez, Onur Tukel.

00:02 You know, just because I'm rich and hot and white doesn't mean that I'm some kind of a monster.
00:08 I care about civil rights, women's rights, transgender rights even. I'm not the fucking enemy.
00:15 I know that, okay?
00:16 And me too. I care about me too. I stopped watching Louis C.K. because of that. That was hard for me. I love Louis.

00:24 There was another murder last night in New York City.
00:27 It was a white dude, right?
00:28 Yeah, all the victims have been straight white men.
00:30 I think it's all fake. The pound cake killer, the victims.
00:34 Who is faking it? How?
00:36 I think it's the corporate media.
00:38 It is all owned by white men. And now, all of a sudden, there's this serial killer who's specifically targeting straight white men.
00:47 It is designed to make us stop thinking of these people as the oppressors. And now we feel sympathy for them.
00:53 But that's just the thing. No one feels sympathy for them.
00:57 [GUNSHOT]
00:58 No one cares. This is all some big joke.

01:12 As a member of the straight white man community, it can be pretty hard sometimes.
01:20 Look what you did to my people.
01:21 That wasn't me.
01:22 Can I help you with something?
01:24 We need more positivity right now.
01:26 Absolutely.
01:27 I mean, all the hate that's coming in from all around us, it's whack.
01:29 I just don't want to be inappropriate.
01:31 Why?
01:32 Comedy is rooted in inappropriateness. That's the point.
01:34 I'm pretty sure you were at my birthday party that one time.
01:37 No, I remember your dad made a really racist comment about Pearl Harbor.
01:40 We can't have you going face to face with our clients.
01:43 Not with that face.
01:44 For epochs, they've been sailing the seas in their yachts, looking down on all of us.
01:51 But we must now torpedo their ships and bring them down!
