00:00 "The one who is awake, the one who is in deep sleep,
00:03 "The one who is in the sight of the pen,
00:06 "You are the one who is crazy,
00:10 "May your presence remain forever."
00:18 "May your presence remain forever."
00:25 Viewers, once again, you are in the midst of goodness.
00:27 We welcome you all from the blessed city of Baba Sahib, Pakfatan Sharif.
00:32 The programme is called 'Shaan-e-Baba Fareed'
00:33 and the responsibilities of Sufis are the topic of today's programme.
00:37 We will be joined by Pir Kamal Shukur Ahmed Sahib.
00:39 If we look at the present times, especially we will discuss the present times,
00:43 then there is a lot of shortcomings.
00:46 There are moral shortcomings, there are religious shortcomings,
00:48 there are intellectual shortcomings, there are ideological shortcomings,
00:49 there are character shortcomings.
00:50 If we look at all these shortcomings and weaknesses,
00:53 then how will you define the role and responsibility of today's Sufi?
01:02 The thing that is most important to understand is that
01:07 the miracles of the saints are all blessed.
01:10 All their other blessings are also blessed.
01:13 There is no other opinion in this.
01:14 The verses and the Hadith are correct.
01:17 The most important thing is that the character and actions of a person
01:23 are a testimony of his greatness.
01:26 The incidents and miracles of the facts are fixed in history.
01:31 For example, Hazrat Ghosn Saqalain,
01:34 Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA)
01:38 had a blessed physical age of 91 years.
01:41 Although there are many books of his,
01:45 but the incident that became famous was one.
01:47 The miracles of the saints are daily.
01:51 They are also daily in the court of the Prophet.
01:53 I have only talked about the historical references.
01:58 What we have to see is that the personality
02:01 to whom Allah has given some responsibility,
02:04 to what extent does he fulfill his responsibility?
02:08 And to what extent does he do justice to that responsibility?
02:12 With his character, his actions,
02:16 wherever he is giving his duty,
02:19 the way he is doing his duty,
02:21 if there is a scholar, he is giving a lesson through his knowledge and character.
02:28 He is preaching.
02:29 A scholar, a mufti, a sheikh, a scholar of the field,
02:32 a scholar of the field,
02:34 there were many difficulties in the field system in the past.
02:38 Now there are many facilities.
02:40 And where wealth brings many problems,
02:44 similarly, in our current system of the field,
02:47 there are many things.
02:50 We are not connected to our ancestors.
02:53 The mention of the saints of the religion are only in the language.
02:57 In terms of morality, action and character,
03:00 to present oneself in that sense,
03:03 -He could not put it. -He could not put it.
03:04 In every era,
03:08 the whole world has been ruling over humanity for centuries,
03:11 and will continue to rule till the Day of Judgment.
03:13 "I have certainly said to you in the Messenger of Allah, 'You are a good messenger'"
03:17 This is our faith.
03:18 But in terms of human psychology,
03:24 the human need is that
03:26 there is a certain feeling that comes to mind.
03:29 Seeing this, one feels that if I have seen the servant of Allah today,
03:34 then my faith has been refreshed.
03:37 The need for that feeling is the psychology of a human being.
03:42 And we, the Khuddam present here,
03:45 of the Khankas,
03:48 if we cannot do much,
03:50 then if we can start from our own self,
03:53 if we can start from this Shaikh-ul-Islam,
03:57 then I think this will become a great responsibility for us.
04:02 May Allah enable us to fulfil it.
04:04 This is Pir Sahib Qibla, I am a small man,
04:08 but this is also a matter of great courage,
04:10 that today a Khanka says that we should start this revival
04:14 and this action from our Khanka.
04:17 Because no one is ready to accept it,
04:19 and to act is a far-fetched thing.
04:21 Yes, not accepting is also a sign of a weak relationship.
04:25 Allah Akbar.
04:26 If the relationship is strong, then the act of accepting starts very quickly.
04:30 SubhanAllah. Mufti Sahib Qibla.
04:33 Akbar, as I have said, this topic is the full title of the question.
04:38 That the responsibilities of the Sufi today,
04:42 are obviously much greater than the past.
04:44 Now, the word Pir Sahib Qibla was a very subtle word,
04:47 that is, a feeling of courage,
04:48 that one feels that if I follow this, I will become like this,
04:52 and all our actions, blessings, and blessings,
04:55 will come from this person's feet,
04:56 and we will get the marks of the feet.
04:57 In the present time, this scene is not visible.
05:00 So, how do you direct us in terms of responsibilities?
05:04 Look, I will briefly summarize and talk.
05:08 Go ahead.
05:10 There are two types of people.
05:12 One is those personalities, who are related to some,
05:16 to some of the Sufi elders of this subcontinent,
05:19 and are related to them.
05:25 They are related in terms of children,
05:27 or they are related in terms of the Caliphs,
05:29 and then they themselves become the owners of the sect.
05:31 Yes, that is correct.
05:32 Agreed.
05:32 That is one type of people.
05:34 The other type of people are those who are their believers,
05:37 lovers, and sincere.
05:38 Yes, correct.
05:39 You can call them a Mashaikh, and the other is a disciple.
05:41 Yes, that is correct.
05:43 It is the manpower of the Mashaikh.
05:44 Agreed.
05:46 Now, when we focus on the responsibilities of the Sufis,
05:48 the first type of people are those who are their followers.
05:53 Yes, correct.
05:54 Those who have more than others.
05:55 Yes, those who have more than others.
05:56 Agreed.
05:57 We do not talk much.
05:59 This is a matter of the heart.
06:02 And in relation to the great Dargah and Khanqah of
06:06 Huzoor Faiz-e-Alam, the Gander,
06:08 and the Gander of the Gander,
06:12 we do not call them anything.
06:18 We only ask that you be recognized by those who are close to you.
06:24 You be recognized by those who are close to you.
06:26 Allahu Akbar.
06:27 You be known by those who are close to you.
06:30 Thousands and millions of people love and believe in you.
06:35 We do not call you anything.
06:37 We only ask that you read the Jadda-e-Aala of our community.
06:47 It is a very difficult task.
06:50 And after reading it, we can say with confidence that
06:53 we will not be able to become like them.
06:55 Absolutely.
06:55 We will not be able to become like them.
06:57 But at least, when those who are close to you come to you,
07:02 they should have a good smell sitting next to you.
07:04 What a great thing.
07:05 Subhanallah.
07:06 They should have a good image.
07:07 It is a great thing.
07:10 In knowledge, Taqwa, Purhezgari, and in worship.
07:14 It means that miracles are not sold.
07:17 Wow.
07:18 Very good.
07:19 Correct.
07:20 Miracles are not sold.
07:22 They become a practice.
07:23 It is a great thing.
07:25 Mashallah.
07:27 The biggest challenge for us in the current Khanqahi system
07:32 is that the people who are in the Sajjadah,
07:38 and the way they are known,
07:41 there is a big gap.
07:43 This is a big thing.
07:44 It is a very valid and important thing.
07:45 There is a big gap.
07:47 And the situation is not good.
07:49 Mashallah, Mukhtar Sahib.
07:50 Long live.
07:51 And the next problem is that
07:55 the one who is going to come after them,
07:59 a businessman takes his child to his business on holidays
08:04 so that he knows how his business is.
08:05 Yes, absolutely.
08:06 He teaches him everything.
08:07 He teaches him everything.
08:09 A good father takes his child to his business on holidays
08:13 so that he knows how to raise his child.
08:15 Agreed.
08:15 So that he understands.
08:17 So a Sheikh's responsibility is more than that.
08:20 At least the trust that he is making,
08:25 he has to fulfill his appearance.
08:26 And I say that you should do the same.
08:30 You should do it in the form of your appearance.
08:32 What to say?
08:33 Subhanallah, Mukhtar Sahib.
08:33 Now the difference is that
08:35 the difference is that
08:38 the people who are standing behind them,
08:40 those who hate them,
08:45 those who reject them,
08:47 now they are chasing them like wolves.
08:50 Allahu Akbar.
08:51 They are ruining their faith.
08:52 Allah have mercy on them.
08:53 They are ruining their faith.
08:55 My teacher used to say,
08:57 these are the places in this world,
09:00 the centers of guidance.
09:03 Even today, we need to make centers of guidance.
09:05 Long live.
09:06 Allahu Akbar.
09:08 Khawaja Sahib.
09:09 I just quoted a couplet of Hazrat Kalandra Lahori
09:13 to Allama Sahib,
09:15 then he said that
09:16 "The rituals of the call to prayer are gone,
09:18 but the soul of Bilali is not."
09:20 So if our system of the present time
09:22 is not delivering,
09:23 is not up to the mark,
09:24 is not up to the potential,
09:26 the gap between the expectations of the past is very big,
09:29 so is it the result of getting entangled in rituals?
09:31 That we have got entangled in rituals
09:32 and have become oblivious to our responsibilities?
09:35 You have said it very well,
09:36 I agree with what the Prophet said.
09:40 But one exception should be made.
09:43 Bismillah.
09:44 And that is,
09:47 this world will not be empty of those people.
09:52 This is correct.
09:53 This is absolutely correct.
09:54 This will definitely happen.
09:55 This world.
09:56 This world will not be empty of those people
09:59 whose work we are talking about.
10:01 Absolutely right.
10:01 This is a different thing that they are hidden,
10:04 they do not like to be exposed in these circumstances.
10:07 Does this mean Rijal ul Ghaib?
10:11 There are many people who are in it.
10:17 Okay, Rijal ul Ghaib,
10:19 because many people are very real,
10:20 they get covered,
10:21 so they have given a very technical term.
10:25 Look, there are many other things.
10:28 Go ahead.
10:28 You just don't focus on it,
10:31 or the Salaasil,
10:33 or the Sajjad-e-Nasheen,
10:36 or the Wabasthan.
10:38 You look at other things too.
10:40 There are things like medicine,
10:42 which are not getting the right treatment.
10:44 Yes, that is correct.
10:45 Everyone is two-faced.
10:46 So you did not stop taking medicine.
10:50 You did not stop taking the right medicine,
10:52 you did not stop taking the right ghee.
10:55 The way to do that is to find
10:58 which shop sells the right medicine,
11:03 which shop sells the right things,
11:07 and you will find and buy from that shop.
11:10 I am sure that
11:13 it is very difficult to find these days.
11:16 In the earlier times,
11:20 there were people who were sitting here,
11:21 and there were people who were sitting there.
11:22 Wherever they went,
11:24 they would get this wealth.
11:27 That is not the case now.
11:28 But if you make this your formula,
11:32 then you can stop taking medicine,
11:35 and stop taking everything.
11:36 But I would like to say a poem of Allama in your support.
11:41 Mashallah.
11:41 "Gila-e-Jafa-e-Wafa-numa"
11:44 "Jo Haram ko Ahle-Haram se hai"
11:46 "Jo mein badkade mein bayan karun"
11:48 "To Sanam pukare Hari hai"
11:50 Absolutely right.
11:52 Allama Muhammad Farooq Khan Saeedi Sahib.
11:54 The thing that Mohsin Sahib said,
11:56 and the thing that Khawaja Sahib said,
11:57 and what I understand from this as a student,
12:00 is not that his point is not valid,
12:02 or it is not possible that we underestimate Khawaja Sahib's point.
12:05 So, there can be a weirdness in the system,
12:08 there can be a mistake,
12:09 and it cannot be up to the mark.
12:10 But this also does not mean that we put questions and marks on the whole department,
12:14 and say that we raise objections against it,
12:17 and turn all the cannons towards Sufism and Sahiban-e-Sufism,
12:21 and eliminate the whole department.
12:23 What do you say about this?
12:24 Mohsin Sahib, the thing that Mufti Sahib said,
12:27 and what Khawaja Sahib said,
12:31 we can see it in different ways.
12:34 But in reality, the ultimate is the same.
12:37 That miracles are true,
12:39 and the people of Allah are present in the Ka'an-e-Qa'an,
12:43 but our eyes cannot see them.
12:46 This world will never be empty of the people of Allah.
12:49 Because the Day of Judgment will come,
12:51 when the One who does Allah, Allah, will not be present on the earth.
12:56 But this is true.
12:58 In our society, the concept of the Ka'an-e-Qa'an is of a dome,
13:01 of four walls, and of blessings.
13:04 The meaning of the Ka'an-e-Qa'an is not this.
13:07 It is the center of purification of the soul,
13:08 training, reformation of the outer and inner self.
13:14 And there, not only is education given,
13:16 but the creation of God is also fed.
13:19 Today, we see the Ka'an-e-Qa'an.
13:21 You see, in the Ka'an-e-Qa'an of Sheikh-ul-Islam Huzoor,
13:25 Bahauddin Zakariya,
13:29 there was such a large community,
13:32 where thousands of people were studying at the same time.
13:37 And their residence was from Kala Kona,
13:41 from the center of Hazrat Mubarak,
13:44 to the Khaad Factory, to Khanewal Road.
13:46 It was surrounded by many kilometers.
13:49 Today, that Ka'an-e-Qa'an, the dome is there,
13:53 the Sajjad-e-Nasheen is also there, Alhamdulillah.
13:55 But it is not the system that was there.
13:58 Huzoor, Dato Sahib, Alhamdulillah, is a university,
14:01 work is being done there.
14:02 So, the purpose of the research was that,
14:05 after the father, the son becomes the Sajjad-e-Nasheen.
14:09 But in his habits, habits, actions, and habits,
14:14 the image of his ancestors is not seen.
14:17 It is not seen, it is just that,
14:19 "Pidram Sultan Abu", my father was a king.
14:22 The question is, who are you?
14:25 Your father was a king, what are you?
14:28 Become something and show.
14:29 But because we are religious, we are convinced of relationships.
14:34 That this is the son of such and such and this is the son of such and such.
14:38 These relationships are correct in their place,
14:40 and their respect is also necessary.
14:42 These are our moral values.
14:45 But the question is, as Kibla Mufti Sahib said,
14:48 that in those Sajjad-e-Nasheen, or in the children,
14:52 the image of their ancestors should be seen,
14:56 so that it is known that the ones from whom they are related,
15:00 they have some part of them.
15:03 Absolutely right.
15:04 The words of the Prophet (pbuh) are correct.
15:06 That a person came in the service of a saint of Allah,
15:09 and he came with the intention of taking the oath of allegiance.
15:12 He stayed for many days, many weeks, and started going back.
15:16 So the saint of Allah said, "Barkhudar, you came and are leaving,
15:21 you didn't even ask me, you didn't even talk to me."
15:24 He said, "Hazrat, I am very disappointed,
15:27 after coming to you and staying here."
15:29 So he said, "What happened, son?
15:31 I didn't see any miracle in you.
15:33 I came after hearing a lot of fame."
15:35 So the Prophet said, "You stayed with me for so many days,
15:38 you saw my beauty and my good looks,
15:41 you saw me in every condition,
15:43 did you find any of my deeds against the Sunnah and Shariah?"
15:47 He said, "No."
15:48 He said, "What could be a greater miracle than this?"
15:50 Al-Istiqamatu Fawqal Karam.
15:52 Beautiful.
15:53 Viewers, the meaning of this whole segment is that we should not be disappointed.
15:58 The blessings of Baba Sahib are common,
16:00 and it will remain so until the morning of the day of judgement.
16:02 We have to find the opposite of that,
16:05 in his responsibilities.
16:06 This was the purpose of our conversation.
16:08 InshaAllah, we will reach our destination and Allah will bless us with His blessings.
16:12 We will take a short break here.
16:14 (Music)
