Transcript
00:00 With the start of training camp just days away, the New York Giants are signing wide receiver
00:04 Cole Beasley to own contract per reports. Beasley, 5'8" and 174 pounds, is a 12-year
00:11 veteran who spent his first seven seasons in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys. He then spent the
00:17 2019 to 2021 seasons with the Buffalo Bills, whose offensive coordinator at the time was
00:23 Giants head coach Brian Dable. And it was under Dable that Beasley had his best season,
00:28 that coming in 2020 when he recorded career highs in receiving yards with 967 and receptions with
00:36 82 in 15 games played. Beasley had announced his retirement after the 2022 season, but obviously
00:42 had a change of heart and will return for a 13th NFL season in his primary role as a slot receiver.
00:49 Meanwhile, it's believed that both Sterling Shepard and Wandale Robinson, two guys who can
00:53 play the slot for the Giants, will open training camp on the PUP list as they continue their
