Best place to go for a run in Sheffield?

We asked people where's the best place to go for a run in Sheffield?
Transcript
00:00 Yeah, I think we're quite lucky in Sheffield. It's one of the greenest cities in Europe,
00:05 so we do have quite a lot of woodland which I prefer to run in.
00:08 So I often go into Lim Valley, which is out near the Peak District,
00:13 or through Ecclesall Woods as well. That's where I usually find myself doing weekly runs.
00:17 Here in the city centre I suppose as well, this is great for all the rural stuff too.
00:22 If there's anywhere in the town centre you wanted to go for a run, where would you go?
00:26 We actually run a weekly run from the shop, which is roughly 5km on Wednesdays,
00:32 which starts at 5.45pm, so good if you are coming out of the office.
00:36 We run up to Norfolk Park, we run on the canal quite a lot of the time,
00:40 or up into Crookes, the Western part of that area, so there's plenty of places you can get to from the city centre.
00:46 And it starts here from Church Street?
00:48 It does start here from the shop, yep, Church Street.
00:50 What time is that?
00:51 It's at 5.45pm on Wednesdays.
00:54 I do run quite regularly, I'm training for half marathon at the moment.
01:00 I'm building my distance up again, but at the moment I've been enjoying running around Grenou Woods.
01:06 It's a little bit of a drive away for me, but it's just such a peaceful place, lots of different routes,
01:13 quite hilly at points, but lots of different sites to see,
01:16 and makes a change from Crookes and Walkley where I normally run.
01:21 Would you prefer running outside over a treadmill?
01:24 I can't run on a treadmill personally.
01:26 I think Risheffield, there's so many different places to see.
01:30 I love running outside, and the hills, yeah, I hate them, but the variation helps.
01:37 I like getting to the top and having a view.
