00:00 Hi, I'm Aeah Lauret, 24, from Cherokee Bucos, Philippines.
00:04 We started playing volleyball because Addy and I were really into it.
00:19 But Addy and I were always playing outside our house.
00:22 Then I joined him in his training in the US.
00:26 I kept training in the US because my parents wanted me to join them.
00:34 My parents told Addy that I should try it.
00:38 So I tried, and from there, I started playing volleyball.
00:42 I was in the 8th grade, and my sister was my setter.
00:45 At that time, I was just starting to play volleyball.
00:48 The UAE team was still new to me.
00:51 I probably won't be able to forget the times I used to set him as a setter.
00:57 Now, it's a different feeling since we're in the same position.
01:02 I think it's an advantage that even though we're in the same position,
01:07 we don't have the competition that we need to be better than each other.
01:10 We're not like that.
01:12 We're more in a relationship where we're trying to be better.
01:16 So we're telling each other our weaknesses.
01:19 We're not sugarcoating each other's weaknesses.
01:22 We know that we want to be better each day.
01:26 That's one way for us to have a healthy relationship.
01:30 It's fun because I have coaches.
01:33 My coach, Coach Ian, and Coach Boto are there too.
01:37 I see them every day.
01:39 I also have former teammates like Pong Guy.
01:42 He was my former teammate in high school.
01:45 I have Ate Alina, my sister, and Ivy.
01:49 Even if my transition from UAAP to Pro wasn't that rough,
01:54 they still had the same vibe and feeling.
01:59 Of course, I have new coaches and teammates who are willing to guide me.
02:07 During training and during games, I can do my job better.
02:11 You don't feel like you're working.
02:13 You feel like you're just training every day.
02:16 You go to training, you learn new things, you improve your skills.
02:20 That's when I feel like I'm reviving.
02:24 It's more on Ate EJ, on how she plays.
02:27 It's more on speed.
02:29 She can score points on her own without using her power.
02:34 I'm more on the power side.
02:37 I always need to be strong.
02:39 Now that I'm with her, I'm inspired.
02:42 Every time I make an impossible goal, I score a goal.
02:47 That's one advantage for me.
02:50 I'm with my sister, not just as a sister, but as a teammate.
02:55 I'm always reminded that I need to improve.
02:59 Who am I now? I need to learn.
03:02 To the supporters of Cherry Tigo Crossovers,
03:05 thank you so much for your love and support.
03:11 I hope to see you live or on social media.
03:14 Thank you so much.
03:15 I hope you'll continue to support our team.
