Today I explore an area in the city, where I find out a bit more about it's history, discover what makes it so appealing and find out from locals what makes it stand out.

01:55 It's nice and easy for everyone.
01:58 Local for motorways, airports, shops, so all the other things of Birmingham.

02:04 I think you've kind of got to make what you want to do.
02:08 We pretty much keep ourselves to ourselves.
02:09 We haven't got a family, so it's only just the two of us.
02:12 So we do tend to travel a lot.
02:14 But there's a lot going on around here.
02:17 Country park down the road, there's a lot for the kids to do, families.
02:20 But yeah, a lot of parks around here.
02:23 So it's nice.
02:24 It's quite a busy area, traffic, but it's pretty good.
02:28 I don't actually live here, but I used to live here many, many years ago.
02:31 You've got Positives, you've got Sheldon Country Park, which is a lovely, lovely area to walk

02:37 You've got the shops, you've got buses, plenty of buses.
