00:08 In a national mullet contest.

00:10 The eight-year-old told WTVF he has been rocking his doom,

00:14 called the O-Nado, for a year and a half.

00:17 It was cool, and it felt crazy.

00:20 He's participating in the USA Mullet Championships

00:23 for the Kids Mullet Showdown.

00:24 I just say, "Owen, how do you do that?"

00:28 And I just say, "Let it grow."

00:31 After he gets a touch-up from his barber, Crystal.

00:33 At first, I really didn't like mullets,

00:34 but Owen can definitely pull it off.

00:38 So, where does Owen get his mullet inspiration?

00:41 Maybe Billy Ray Cyrus?

00:46 Well, I think I heard about him.

00:49 Yeah, he's probably too young to know who that is.
