00:00 When I first arrived I couldn't even believe, I couldn't believe it was him, couldn't believe he was still alive.
00:04 He's lost 50% of his body weight, so no one, no one can believe he's still with us.
00:13 The vet, me, all the neighbours, no one can believe he's still alive, but he's still with us.
00:18 Just the most amazing feeling ever, because he is so incredibly loved and he was so missed,
00:26 and Florence, his sister, was missing him terribly.
00:29 There was an Airbnb guest staying at the house, it's literally three doors down,
00:35 there was an Airbnb guest staying there, and she messaged the owner to say that she could hear
00:41 meowing coming from underneath the floorboards. We have a road WhatsApp chat and so the owner of
00:48 the house immediately put a message on there saying 'oh my god could this be Arthur?' and
00:53 from that message to us physically getting him out was 12 minutes. All the neighbours went,
00:58 everyone came with tools and food and Lee, who lives at number two, was amazing. She managed to
01:05 get the floorboards up and move some pipes to one side and then he just crawled out and crawled
01:10 into the room. So most amazing, most amazing feeling ever. Nobody could believe it, nobody
01:16 could believe he was still with us and I can't believe that he was literally three doors down
01:20 for five weeks. He's come through everything, despite losing so much of his body weight and
01:27 all his muscle and everything else, he's been on a drip for 24 hours which has rehydrated him a
01:33 little bit. When we first got him he was just inhaling food, he couldn't get it in and he was
01:37 desperate for food but over the last couple of days we were gradually managing to regulate that
01:44 just by giving him tiny little amounts. It's almost cruel actually to give him such tiny
01:49 amounts when he's so hungry but we did do that and that's really paid off because now we can
01:55 leave a little bit of food down and he will regulate himself like a normal cat. I would say
01:59 he's used up more than one of his nine lives. I don't quite know how many of his nine lives
02:05 he's used but he's more than one, that's for sure.
