00:00 Tiger Woods' ex-girlfriend, Erika Herman,
00:02 has dropped her $30 million lawsuit.
00:04 We got all the details in today's "Us Daily."
00:06 Herman dismissed the case pending the result
00:08 of her latest appeal of a judge's order
00:10 to throw out a different lawsuit she filed
00:12 to nullify a 2017 non-disclosure agreement
00:15 she signed with Tiger.
00:16 Now that case remains pending.
00:18 Now, Herman first sued Woods' trust,
00:20 the title holder on his home, in October of 2022,
00:23 claiming that he violated the oral agreement
00:25 that stated she could live at his residence
00:27 for a certain duration of time
00:29 in exchange for performing valuable services.
00:32 In documents obtained by "Us Weekly" at the time,
00:34 Herman alleged that she was locked out of the home
00:36 by trickery when there were five years left
00:39 of the pair's oral agreement.
00:41 She claimed that 30 million represented
00:42 the reasonable rental value of the property
00:45 for the remaining five years of the alleged agreement.
00:48 Woods' trust, for their part, filed documents
00:50 to dismiss Herman's complaint in November of 2022.
00:53 The entity claimed that their response,
00:55 that per Herman's NDA with Woods,
00:57 she was required to resolve any and all disputes,
01:00 claims, or controversies with the golfer
01:02 through confidential arbitration.
01:04 While a hearing for Herman's lawsuit
01:06 regarding the oral tenancy
01:07 was initially scheduled for August,
01:09 a court document filed on June 29th
01:11 announced that it had been canceled
01:12 due to Herman's dismissal of the suit.
01:15 Now, days before the lawsuit's dismissal,
01:17 she filed her second appeal after the case
01:19 seeking to lift her NDA with Woods
01:21 on the grounds that the athlete harassed her
01:24 was thrown out.
01:25 Woods, for his part, called Herman a jilted ex-girlfriend
01:29 who wants to publicly litigate specious claims in court
01:32 rather than honor her commitment to arbitrate disputes
01:34 in a confidential arbitration proceeding.
01:36 Now, the former couple dated for five years
01:39 before their messy split in 2022.
01:41 A source exclusively told us in March
01:43 that Woods and Herman experienced a breakdown
01:45 in their relationship and clashed over time and money,
01:48 which ultimately led to their breakup.
