00:26 how sometimes, being diplomats, you all work very quietly
00:35 and in the background and do not call attention to yourselves.

00:43 not only in support of him and his visits abroad,
00:47 but also in helping the Filipinos all over the world,
00:53 according to President Marcos, he is grateful for the support given by the DFA,
00:58 like diplomats, ambassadors, and the people of the DFA from all over the world.
01:04 That's why when I see these trips that we have been taking,
01:11 when I see the preparations and how professionally they are done,
01:17 and how professionally the conduct of these visits go on,
01:21 with the guidance that I get from our diplomats,
01:24 our different ambassadors, all the congents and the people in each of the stations,
01:35 I always feel very well equipped,
01:38 and I always feel that I'm lucky to have that kind of support that is professional.
01:48 And that's why when I first came into office,
01:52 President Marcos also mentioned the unforgettable dedication and sacrifice of the people of the DFA,
01:58 especially in helping the Filipinos overseas.
02:01 And I'm very, very happy to be able to stand here before you and say that thanks to your very hard work,
02:07 very skilled work, your great, the great experience that you bring to bear,
02:13 these trips that we have taken have been quite successful
02:16 because they have been so well put together.
02:20 When I get there, I'm properly briefed, I have good information,
02:25 I have the maayosang takbo,
02:28 all I have to do is make papogi to everybody
02:32 because you did my job, that legwork for me already.
02:35 And for that, I hope you realize how appreciative we all are for the very difficult,
02:43 sometimes extremely complicated and always quiet work that you do.
