From bones to museum exhibit, reconstructing a dinosaur skeleton for a museum is a balance between art and science - enough science to keep the experts happy, enough artistic license to excite the visitors. But getting that balance right is a tricky diplomatic, as well as scientific, process. In this program, presenter and anatomist Dr. Alice Roberts follows the entire reconstruction of Los Angeles Natural History Museum's Summer 2011 dinosaur exhibit from the raw bones to the final colossal mounts.
