We speak to a Ukrainian woman who has settled in North Shields about starting her career in the UK

Oyla Anoshko came to the UK from Ukraine just over a year ago and settled in North Shields with her host family. She has been part of the Nuture academy which gives people hands of experience in the kitchen at The Cedarwood Trust.

Now with the extra skills she has learn on top of her experience working in hospitality in Ukraine Oyla now knows exactly what she wants to do.
