New Chevrolet Blazer EV SS 2024. Postponed Until Spring 2024..

The Chevrolet Blazer EV SS was originally set to hit the market in late 2023.

The launch of the highly anticipated Chevrolet Blazer EV SS has been delayed until at least spring 2024 for unknown reasons.

It's been 12 long months since the Blazer EV SS was shown to the world for the first time, and at that time, General said it will hit the market in late 2023 without giving a specific date. However, Chevrolet's website was recently updated, and the page indicates that the SS won't be available until spring 2024, while the regular Blazer EV is scheduled to launch in summer 2023.

When the new Chevy hits the market, it will be available for $65,995 and customers will get a lot of performance for their money. Indeed, the Blazer EV SS rocks a pair of electric motors that combine to deliver 557 hp and 648 lb-ft (878 Nm) of torque. GM says that when the high-performance Wide Open Wattage (WOW) mode is activated, the SUV can reach 96 km/h in less than four seconds; this is fast enough for those who are going to buy it.

The Blazer EV SS had an estimated speed of 290 mph (467 km) from its online launch last year, but we'll wait to see if that changes when the EPA figures are announced closer to next year's launch. It supports DC fast charging up to 190 kW and comes standard with a set of large 22-inch wheels, a unique two-tone exterior trim, front splitter and Brembo brakes at the front.
