Anjani Kumar Singh, Director General of Bihar Museums, talks about the future of museums relating it with their democratisation. He also adds that museums have to be inviting as they are activities and how communities are engaging with them. The discussion also talks about how museums can become accessible. Not just in terms of accessibility for audiences but also inclusion and representation from all sections of population - be it the tribals, the diaspora. It isn't just about bringing people to museums but also taking museums to people. That is the only way museums can sustain.

The discussion was held at Delhi’s Bikaner House on June 24th, as a part of Outlook’s collaboration with Bihar Museum, whose se condition edition is set to open in August this year.
