Man dumps bin of flammable liquid in petrol station and sets it alight with the attendant inside
Shocking surveillance footage shows a man setting fire to a petrol station - with the clerk still inside - using a bin full of flammable liquid.
“The gas station clerk was transported to a local hospital, where he was treated for 1st-degree burns,” police said.
Surveillance video released by police shows the suspect dumping a bin full of liquid inside the Sunoco gas station on the 19300 block of West 7 Mile Road, Detroit Michigan, USA, shortly before 3 a.m. Tuesday.
The suspect has a blowtorch in his hand, and appears to speak to the clerk and backs out the door as he lights the liquid with the blowtorch.
Police said the incident is “actively being investigated” and one suspect was in custody.
