00:02 Hi my angels and welcome back to my channel.
00:08 So today's video is gonna be showing you guys
00:11 how to create five minute curls.
00:14 And this is the final result.
00:16 So if you wanna see all the steps that I take
00:18 to create this quick hairstyle,
00:20 then please keep watching.
00:22 So I'm starting off with straight hair
00:24 and I'm spraying some of this Elnett Satin Heat Styling
00:27 spray into the mid-length and ends of the hair.
00:31 And once I'm happy that I've got enough product
00:34 all over it, I'm gonna grab a hair tie
00:37 and I love the ones from Primark,
00:40 but I'm gonna basically make a really, really, really
00:43 high ponytail on the top of my head.
00:46 I'm making sure that there's no lumps and bumps
00:48 in my hair and I'm basically just gonna tie
00:51 a really, really high up ponytail.
00:54 Like you can see me here, I've got quite a lot of hair
00:56 so it takes quite a while to get this as high as I can.
01:00 But here you can just see me getting it through
01:02 that last loophole and then I'm left with
01:04 a super high pony like this.
01:06 Then what I do is I split my hair in two halves like this
01:10 and clip one of them away.
01:13 Then with the section that's left out,
01:15 I take about a one inch section from that hair
01:18 and I grab my curlers.
01:20 These ones I'm using are the Bombay Hair
01:21 Five in One Curlers and I'm just curling strands
01:25 around the tongs.
01:27 So I'm leaving the hair on there for about 15 to 20 seconds
01:31 only because my hair is really thick.
01:33 But then once I've got the curl,
01:34 I make sure that it's nice and compact
01:36 and I grip it into place with one of these metal clips
01:39 from Sally's or you could use just your regular bobby pins,
01:43 whatever you've got around
01:44 or whatever you feel comfortable with.
01:46 Then I'm just gonna repeat these steps
01:48 with the rest of the hair.
01:49 So I'm grabbing about one inch sections,
01:52 curling the hair and then grabbing that kind of curl
01:55 in place and clipping it all away.
01:58 So this is basically for the hair to set
02:01 'cause this is gonna make the curls last
02:02 way longer in your hair.
02:04 So I'm just making sure that I'm finishing
02:06 that whole half of my hair sectioned off
02:10 and making sure that everything's nice and secure.
02:13 And once I'm done with that one half,
02:15 I'm left with something like this
02:17 before moving on to the second half.
02:20 So I'm just doing the exact same thing,
02:22 curling all my hairs in different directions.
02:24 You don't need to be really neat or anything with this,
02:27 you just wanna make sure that you're curling all of the hair.
02:29 So the thicker sections you take,
02:31 the bigger the curls will be.
02:33 If you prefer to have smaller curls,
02:36 then make sure you take smaller sections.
02:39 The same rule applies for the size of the barrel
02:41 that you use to curl your hair.
02:43 So the thicker the barrel, the bigger and chunkier
02:45 the wave of curl will be in the hair
02:47 and the thinner the barrel you use,
02:49 the thinner the curl will turn out to be.
02:52 So here I'm just finishing the last little section
02:54 off in my hair and gripping that away nice and secure.
02:59 And this is what I am left with.
03:02 So this is the part where I would now hairspray my hair.
03:05 So here I'm using the L'Oreal Paris Studio Pro
03:07 Boost It Hairspray and I'm giving my weird
03:11 pineapple head a good, nice curl.
03:13 This is the part where I'd normally do my makeup,
03:16 so it's setting there for a few minutes,
03:17 but I'm just showing you guys what these curls look like
03:21 after only about five or 10 minutes of it sitting like this.
03:24 So I'm just slowly but surely taking all of the little
03:28 grips out of my hair and you can already see
03:31 just the nice wave and big bouncy curls
03:35 that it's creating on the top of my head.
03:37 So once I've got all of those grips out,
03:41 all I'm gonna do is slide out the hair tie
03:44 from the ponytail.
03:46 So I'm just gonna take that off as I would normally do.
03:50 And this is the part where I kind of play around
03:52 with my hair and kind of mold it into the place
03:55 that I want it to sit.
03:56 And I kind of play around with the parting as well.
03:59 You can go in with some hair oil just to kind of give it
04:02 that nice sleek effect.
04:05 And you can also go in and add some more hairspray
04:08 like I'm doing here.
04:10 And you can actually go in and curl sections
04:12 that you feel like just need a little bit more of a curl.
04:15 But this, you guys, is the final result of my quick way
04:19 that I like to curl my hair in about five to seven minutes.
04:23 I really hope you guys enjoyed this hair tutorial.
04:26 I personally do this quite a lot,
04:27 especially when I'm in a rush.
04:29 I just love how it looks like you've spent so much time
04:31 on your hair or like you've given yourself
04:33 a fake blow dryer when in fact you've literally
04:35 spent minutes on it.
04:36 So I really hope you guys enjoyed this video.
04:38 Please give it a thumbs up if you did
04:40 and I will see you all in my next one.
04:42 Bye!
04:42 (upbeat music)
04:45 you
