SA police seek to expand powers as crime rises in Adelaide’s CBD

South Australia Police want to expand their powers to confront anti-social behaviour in the heart of Adelaide. While senior officers dispute whether crime is getting worse in the CBD, restrictions on alcohol sales were recently extended in a bid to make the streets safer.
