00:00:10 - In the book of Genesis,
00:00:37 Genesis chapter one,
00:00:38 very interesting presentation
00:00:42 as the intention of God is seen.
00:00:48 In verse 26, after he has put everything in place,
00:00:55 now the Lord does his magnum opus.
00:01:01 He now begins to put together the prize.
00:01:05 And God said, let us make man in our image
00:01:10 after our likeness and let them have dominion
00:01:14 over the fish of the sea, over the fowl of the air,
00:01:18 over the cattle and over all the earth
00:01:22 and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
00:01:26 So God created man in his own image,
00:01:31 in the image of God created he him male and female,
00:01:36 created he them.
00:01:39 In Deuteronomy in the second law,
00:01:44 the mind of God is revisited primarily because
00:01:49 and solely because of the fall of man.
00:01:52 And in Deuteronomy 28 and about verse 12,
00:01:58 the writer says,
00:02:00 the Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure
00:02:05 and the heaven to give thee rain
00:02:08 unto thy land in his season
00:02:10 and to bless all the work of thine hand
00:02:14 and thou shalt lend unto many nations
00:02:17 and thou shalt not borrow.
00:02:19 And the Lord shall make thee the head and not the tail.
00:02:26 And thou shalt be above only
00:02:29 and thou shalt not be beneath.
00:02:31 If that thou hearken unto the commandments
00:02:36 of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day
00:02:40 to observe and do them.
00:02:43 I want you just to touch somebody
00:02:47 and say a restored man.
00:02:51 (audience murmuring)
00:02:54 I open by indicating the significance of creation
00:03:02 is God's desire to reveal himself.
00:03:11 The significance, the primary reason
00:03:19 and the only reason for creation
00:03:22 is the revelation of God.
00:03:26 It's interesting because the logos,
00:03:34 which is actually the principle of divine self-manifestation
00:03:40 has to create before God can be revealed.
00:03:48 Because if God is in the cauldrons
00:03:52 and rather the corridors of eternity
00:03:54 and has existed without a beginning
00:03:57 and without an ending,
00:03:58 obviously for a long time, quote unquote time,
00:04:05 he had to be by himself.
00:04:08 If I understand it right.
00:04:13 So in order then for anyone to grasp the splendor of God,
00:04:18 God has to create first in order to reveal.
00:04:28 That's why when you check in the book of John
00:04:32 and you notice the word was with God,
00:04:33 the word was God, that particular passage,
00:04:37 he begins right after that
00:04:40 to talk about the things that were created.
00:04:43 And of course, nothing would exist
00:04:45 had it not been for the creative power of God.
00:04:49 It is God who creates in order to reveal himself.
00:04:53 When I considered that close to 3 a.m. this morning,
00:05:00 it is incredible to think that all God is
00:05:05 could or should be hidden.
00:05:11 For any entity with the splendiferous wonder
00:05:15 and magnanimity of God should be experienced.
00:05:20 And it is God then in his extraordinary love
00:05:28 for the creatures he was going to create
00:05:31 that he would put them together
00:05:35 and make them comprehensive and intelligent enough
00:05:40 that they might experience
00:05:42 what no one could experience if he didn't create them.
00:05:48 I wonder, is it, are you hungry?
00:05:54 Can you imagine not having been in existence, that's one,
00:06:03 but can you imagine being in existence
00:06:08 and not experiencing God, that's two.
00:06:11 In order for us to be able to appreciate
00:06:18 the splendor of God, he did us a favor.
00:06:24 He created us.
00:06:27 For had we not been created,
00:06:30 we could not have enjoyed the splendor of God.
00:06:35 To hide God is not to exist at all.
00:06:40 God cannot be hidden.
00:06:44 If he's not there, then surely you're not here
00:06:47 because you're only here because of God.
00:06:51 The only reason for anything to exist then
00:06:56 becomes for the revelation of God.
00:06:59 Paul Tudyk says, he says,
00:07:02 "Revelation must be given and revelation must be received
00:07:07 "or it's not revelation."
00:07:11 If God puts it out there and you don't grasp it,
00:07:15 then you don't have it and it couldn't be revealed.
00:07:19 And so the God then who creates to reveal
00:07:24 also creates the situations in which he will reveal himself.
00:07:30 And in order then for him to reveal himself,
00:07:34 the creative process has to take some time.
00:07:39 So what you will notice then is before God created
00:07:44 his Magnus Opus, before he created man
00:07:47 to receive his revelation,
00:07:50 he supplied him with everything that he needed.
00:07:54 It is critical now that when the man came into the world,
00:07:58 he did not have to sit and wait
00:08:01 for the prescription to be filled.
00:08:04 The prescription was already filled
00:08:07 before he came into the world
00:08:09 because God understood that in order to reveal,
00:08:14 he has to create, but in order to create, he has to sustain.
00:08:18 And he sustains those, yes, that he has created
00:08:23 to reveal himself to.
00:08:28 (panting)
00:08:30 It is this that Genesis 1 is saying to me,
00:08:39 and that is that God has created the man
00:08:42 for the visitation in the cool of the evening.
00:08:47 And notice, if you will, the elaborate structure
00:08:51 of the universe that God put together
00:08:53 just to put a man in the world
00:08:57 for him to reveal himself to in the cool of the evening.
00:09:02 It would seem to me that God spent a whole lot for so little
00:09:08 that he'd spent a whole lot for just to spend an evening
00:09:13 revealing himself to mankind.
00:09:17 But now where he does not sustain,
00:09:21 there cannot be but limited revelation
00:09:24 because if God does not keep you
00:09:26 within the parameters of this world,
00:09:29 then you would lose that opportunity
00:09:31 for God to reveal himself for you.
00:09:34 So the same God that creates must sustain,
00:09:37 and he's now that voice
00:09:38 that's walking in the cool of the evening.
00:09:41 And I looked at the voice walking in the cool of the evening.
00:09:45 I searched a couple of biblical interpreters,
00:09:49 Nobel is one, and Delitzsch, and Kyle, and Kaleesh.
00:09:54 They see this as the noise of his footsteps.
00:09:58 The biblical interpreters, Murphy and Bush,
00:10:01 they see it as the thunder that accompanies his approach.
00:10:06 Whenever God is coming, he shakes up the environment,
00:10:11 even in innocence.
00:10:12 He has to shake up because everything
00:10:15 in the creative sphere understands
00:10:18 it's God who's moving.
00:10:19 He doesn't move like any other animals.
00:10:22 He doesn't move like any other creature.
00:10:24 He moves in a distinct way,
00:10:27 that he moves so that it accompanies his approach.
00:10:31 When God is approaching, his glory extends itself out
00:10:35 as he comes for he is surrounded by the power of his glory.
00:10:39 And it is Calvin and Lange,
00:10:42 they see it as the sound of his voice.
00:10:45 But I see it as all of it put together.
00:10:48 It is the thunder of his approach.
00:10:50 It is the noise of his footsteps.
00:10:53 It is, yes, yes, it is the sound of his voice.
00:10:57 And it's interesting that if he is coming as a voice,
00:11:01 and the voice is walking, then Adam isn't dealing
00:11:05 with him through sensual perception.
00:11:09 He is not seeing him with his eyes.
00:11:11 He is feeling him in his spirit.
00:11:15 Ah, now he's walking in the garden.
00:11:17 And that means that revelation is wandering
00:11:20 and walking around in the circle of sustenance.
00:11:25 It's where God has put the sustaining power
00:11:28 in order to keep the man alive for no other reason
00:11:31 than to visit with God.
00:11:33 I wonder how many of us have just been kept alive by God
00:11:38 so that he could just visit with us.
00:11:40 And he kept us alive and sustained us
00:11:43 just so that we could praise his name
00:11:46 and give him glory because all he wants to do
00:11:49 is move around in the perimeters
00:11:50 of what he sustains and supplies
00:11:53 so that we don't have to worry about the supply,
00:11:56 but we just worry about the God who supplies.
00:11:58 We don't have to worry about the things around us.
00:12:01 We just give glory to the God as he moves in our circle.
00:12:06 So the reason to sustain is to continue
00:12:10 his revelatory process.
00:12:12 But something strange happens here
00:12:14 because now man decides he's going to hide from his panim.
00:12:19 He's going to hide from his presence.
00:12:23 And presence simply here means face.
00:12:26 And what happens now is the face of the Lord.
00:12:29 It's the same word.
00:12:30 And the face of the Lord identifies God
00:12:34 because the face in panim, the Hebrew concept
00:12:38 was that the face identifies you.
00:12:41 When you wanna find out who a person is,
00:12:43 you wanna look in their face.
00:12:46 You can't identify somebody by just looking at a hand.
00:12:50 The face identifies.
00:12:52 But the face also reflects the attitude
00:12:55 and the sentiments of the person.
00:12:58 To hide one's face in the scriptures
00:13:00 is to show displeasure or disgust.
00:13:02 To turn away the face is to reject.
00:13:06 To raise the face is to show favor, respect, and acceptance.
00:13:10 Now the man is doing a strange thing to his creator
00:13:15 because his creator, my God,
00:13:18 has sustained him for revelation.
00:13:23 But God has made him in order to show him who he is.
00:13:28 And yet man now is hiding from the very reason
00:13:34 he was created.
00:13:35 And that was to show God to show himself to him.
00:13:40 So God is making the move to get to know the man.
00:13:44 And the man has moved to get away from God.
00:13:48 He's taken the initiative to take an action
00:13:51 that is negative to the purpose he was created.
00:13:55 And now here comes trouble.
00:13:58 I feel it here, I feel it.
00:14:00 How can you hide from the sustainer
00:14:04 who provided you the intellect to receive the revelation?
00:14:10 Because God is too splendiferous not to create a mind
00:14:15 that is cognitively powerful
00:14:18 to receive the revelation of God.
00:14:21 If God is all that much, when he creates,
00:14:24 he has to create something all that much
00:14:27 in order to receive the muchness of God.
00:14:31 He has to put it together.
00:14:33 He has to put you together to understand who he is.
00:14:37 For the wonder that is God must be inspired
00:14:42 to make a capacity to receive and appreciate him.
00:14:47 Isn't that all God is doing in our lives?
00:14:49 Trying to get us to appreciate him.
00:14:53 Trying to get us to give him glory.
00:14:56 Trying to get us to worship him.
00:14:59 So the revelation process, stay with me please,
00:15:03 seems to necessitate the need
00:15:06 for the vessel to reflect God.
00:15:09 That's all a part of the process.
00:15:11 He wants this revelation in a container
00:15:16 that looks exactly like him because this is the intention.
00:15:21 When I make you in my image,
00:15:24 I make you in the creative process
00:15:27 to receive my revelation.
00:15:30 But I don't wait until you get my revelation
00:15:34 for you to have some kind of resemblance to me
00:15:39 because you're waiting for what you don't know
00:15:41 but I'm giving you something I know.
00:15:44 And I want you to reflect me
00:15:46 so that when I sit in my rulership position on earth
00:15:50 and look at man in the world, he looks like me
00:15:55 because I want to put myself in a container
00:15:59 that looks like me.
00:16:02 I don't want to put myself in a giraffe.
00:16:05 I don't want to put myself in a monkey.
00:16:09 I don't want to put myself in creeping things.
00:16:12 I want to put myself in something
00:16:15 that's made in my image and my likeness.
00:16:20 Oh, I feel it here.
00:16:22 Why?
00:16:22 Because to reveal himself to something
00:16:25 that is a reflection of himself,
00:16:27 multiplies his glory.
00:16:30 So I'm just, oh, can I preach this thing a minute here?
00:16:33 Jesus, if you will,
00:16:35 he taught us the same principle in another way.
00:16:38 He says, "Now I must need gold that the comforter will come.
00:16:43 "As long as I am here standing as an individual,
00:16:46 "I can do a whole lot of things for you.
00:16:50 "But until I become spirit and enter into you,
00:16:54 "I can't do anything through you."
00:16:57 But the one Jesus who can do it for you
00:17:01 by the Holy Spirit now employs others and others and others.
00:17:06 The first birth was 12,
00:17:11 and the 12 birthed, and those birthed,
00:17:14 and those birthed until now the body of Christ
00:17:18 is not just the body that's contained in Jerusalem,
00:17:23 but the body of Christ has now become the whole world.
00:17:26 I wonder if you know where I'm going with this.
00:17:29 Oh God, and so now he wants to multiply himself in man.
00:17:34 When he looks at man, he looks at head.
00:17:41 He looks at an extension of his glory.
00:17:44 He looks at the earthly ruler.
00:17:48 He's the ruler of the universe,
00:17:50 but I have dropped off an image of myself,
00:17:53 and I've set it on a planet called Earth,
00:17:56 and I've set this man there to experience
00:17:59 the depth of eternity in a temporal circumstance.
00:18:04 Here is the image of God.
00:18:07 The word basically here is Salam,
00:18:10 and its etymological root is image
00:18:13 as a representative of deity,
00:18:16 not a representative of the president,
00:18:19 not a representative of a king,
00:18:22 but it's a representative of God.
00:18:25 There is a God-likeness that has to flow through you, man.
00:18:30 When I say man, I say representative of God.
00:18:35 When I say man, I say producer.
00:18:39 When I say man, I say creative.
00:18:42 When I say man, I say intellectual.
00:18:46 When I say man, I say powerful.
00:18:49 When I say man, I say extension of God.
00:18:52 When I say man, I say provider.
00:18:55 When I say man, I say protector.
00:18:58 As he is my Jehovah-Jireh, a man in my circumstance,
00:19:03 and if a man learns how to give him glory,
00:19:07 he'll provide everything you need.
00:19:10 (audience applauding)
00:19:13 Oh, I feel something pushing me here.
00:19:15 Oh, God, give somebody, have I done this yet?
00:19:18 Give somebody a high five, I haven't done that yet.
00:19:20 Give somebody a high five and say man.
00:19:24 Oh, God, not in the image of God.
00:19:28 So man then was made in God's image,
00:19:30 in his Salem and in God's likeness, his demute,
00:19:35 and this becomes the reason now
00:19:38 for everything else that follows.
00:19:41 It begins with the image and the likeness of God.
00:19:46 Your success as a man begins with how close
00:19:53 you can come to the image and the likeness of God.
00:19:58 Oh, I'm learning now.
00:20:01 I'm gonna quit trying to impress women,
00:20:03 quit trying to impress other men.
00:20:06 The one I found out I need to impress is...
00:20:10 (audience applauding)
00:20:13 Oh, I feel the Holy Ghost here.
00:20:17 The image and the likeness of God
00:20:21 now leads to the question,
00:20:24 what is man that thou art mindful of him
00:20:27 and the son of man that thou visitest him?
00:20:31 You made him a little lower than the angels,
00:20:33 but you crowned him with honor and with glory.
00:20:36 And it escaped me until three o'clock this morning
00:20:40 that this answer is right in front of my face.
00:20:44 And that is that God cannot move away from his image.
00:20:49 It is something about the creative process
00:20:51 when he's made you like himself.
00:20:54 He can't just sit there and watch his image being walked on.
00:20:59 He can't just sit there and watch the devil destroy
00:21:03 the very face of God.
00:21:05 When you attack man, devil, you attack the image of God.
00:21:10 You mess up his representation
00:21:15 and he will not feel some here.
00:21:19 He will not allow it because now what I've got is
00:21:24 the predication of image and likeness
00:21:28 that God is perpetually drawn to this image and likeness,
00:21:32 to this reflection of himself
00:21:35 in which he wants to house his revelation.
00:21:40 He cannot deny it nor ignore it
00:21:42 because he's totally drawn to it.
00:21:45 The reason he brought you out was for his name's sake,
00:21:50 for his glory's sake.
00:21:52 Oh, you piggybacked on what God is doing for himself.
00:21:56 I was preaching somewhere and I heard them say,
00:21:59 well, that God did this for the preacher.
00:22:02 Look at what God did for you.
00:22:04 And I said, then when I got up to remark,
00:22:06 I said, no, don't get it twisted.
00:22:08 God didn't do it for no man.
00:22:11 God did it for himself.
00:22:14 Now he may do it through you,
00:22:17 but what's through you ain't for you.
00:22:20 I wish I could talk to you here.
00:22:23 We debated many times, even in this week of appreciation.
00:22:28 And I was talking to the bishop
00:22:29 about the whole appreciation thing
00:22:31 and all of the accolades thing.
00:22:33 And what he said to me is he said,
00:22:35 look, as long as God is controlling your behavior
00:22:39 and action, people will react and respond.
00:22:42 He said, but understand this,
00:22:44 if you slip from that pedestal,
00:22:47 the same people who will rejoice
00:22:50 will be the same ones who will crush you.
00:22:54 He said, the problem with us is
00:22:56 we're trying to make God's woman, our woman.
00:23:00 And God's woman will never be our woman.
00:23:04 And I'm talking about the church.
00:23:06 The church is God's.
00:23:08 Get this straight.
00:23:09 The church is God's.
00:23:12 He'll use you till your time is up.
00:23:14 And then somebody else will come.
00:23:17 But the church belongs to God.
00:23:20 And you can't get God's woman to love you like God.
00:23:24 So what you need to do is lift up God
00:23:27 and let God sustain you.
00:23:32 I feel it in here.
00:23:33 I feel like I'm in church.
00:23:34 So the psalmist now understands
00:23:38 that God has to be drawn to his glory.
00:23:42 And the glory here is the word had.
00:23:45 And it's uniquely Hebrew.
00:23:48 I checked Aramaic, I searched.
00:23:50 In the Old Testament literature, couldn't find it.
00:23:54 There is no word for it,
00:23:56 but it goes along with another word.
00:23:58 And it stays in juxtaposition with hadar.
00:24:02 And that word is honor or majesty.
00:24:06 When there's glory, there's got to be honor.
00:24:10 Because glory and honor is a part of God's wardrobe.
00:24:14 When he makes you in his image,
00:24:18 he gives you the ability to do things that give you glory.
00:24:22 And then he gives you the essence of honor.
00:24:26 You cannot be in God's image and not be honorable.
00:24:31 You cannot be in God's image and not do glorious things.
00:24:36 Because God, when he says man, whoa, I feel it.
00:24:41 He says glorious.
00:24:44 He says honorable.
00:24:46 He says powerful and unique.
00:24:49 Because I'm sharing myself with you
00:24:53 in order to reveal more of myself to you.

00:47:52 There ain't no end.
00:47:56 We got to end it.
00:48:00 (congregation applauding)
00:48:06 Because there is no end.
00:48:07 You'll have the most wonderful wife on your arm.
00:48:16 (congregation laughing)
00:48:19 A restored man
00:48:25 is a man who can commit
00:48:30 and let everything else die around him.
00:48:34 (congregation applauding)
00:48:40 A restored man.
00:48:41 And I'm telling you, brothers,
00:48:46 come on, meet me at the altar.
00:48:48 I need to be at the, come on, brothers.
00:48:50 Come on, man.
00:48:51 (congregation applauding)
00:48:54 Somebody's just saying, "Restored man."
00:49:04 (congregation applauding)
00:49:07 Come on up, man, come on up, come on up.
00:49:12 Make room for your brother, come on up.
00:49:15 (congregation applauding)
00:49:19 Come on up.
00:49:29 Come on up.
00:49:35 Come on up, we stand together.
00:49:40 We stand together.
00:49:45 (congregation applauding)
00:49:49 Restored.
00:49:50 Restored.
00:49:54 Restored.
00:49:59 Restored.
00:50:01 Restored.
00:50:04 Restored.
00:50:10 (congregation applauding)
00:50:14 Restored.
00:50:15 We have been,
00:50:24 we all have been perpetrators,
00:50:29 and we all have been victims.
00:50:32 We have shared both roles.
00:50:35 I don't know if my mother knows it.
00:50:40 I don't know if she knows at seven years old,
00:50:41 I went to the bathroom.
00:50:42 I went to the bathroom,
00:50:44 an outside toilet at the church in Spanish Town.
00:50:47 And I was molested.
00:50:50 I was molested.
00:50:53 Older boy took me and,
00:50:56 yes, yes, yes.
00:51:02 At seven or eight, just got to Jamaica.
00:51:05 Yes.
00:51:11 20 years later,
00:51:12 I was still feeling it.
00:51:15 Feeling it.
00:51:19 But that didn't make me gay.
00:51:23 (congregation applauding)
00:51:28 (congregation applauding)
00:51:32 Hallelujah.
00:51:33 Hallelujah.
00:51:38 (congregation applauding)
00:51:42 We have all been victims.
00:51:45 We have all been through some rough things.
00:51:51 Sometimes,
00:51:54 our women don't even understand.
00:51:59 (congregation laughing)
00:52:01 The real pain that a black man has.
00:52:05 (congregation applauding)
00:52:08 He is the target
00:52:15 of his own brother first.
00:52:20 Because we've been indoctrinated
00:52:28 with division.
00:52:29 Psychologically broken.
00:52:33 We resolve to all kinds of things to make life work
00:52:38 because we're taking shortcuts.
00:52:41 Now, they privatize prisons now,
00:52:43 which means it's a private business now.
00:52:47 Which means somebody has got to fill those prisons
00:52:53 for the private owners to make a profit.
00:52:56 (congregation applauding)
00:53:00 They looking for us.
00:53:03 Home ownership is the beginning of wealth.
00:53:10 Because here you're paying for something
00:53:14 that's gaining equity all at the same time.
00:53:16 And if you don't even put any money in the bank,
00:53:20 you're putting money in that house.
00:53:21 A brother sat here and I cried.
00:53:26 With him because the home,
00:53:29 the people who, in a gated community,
00:53:31 there's a home group that works,
00:53:34 that cleans up and does all kinds of things
00:53:37 and you pay them a monthly fee.
00:53:39 For $4,000 that he didn't pay,
00:53:44 they're taking the whole house
00:53:46 that he bought at 250,000
00:53:50 and is worth half a million.
00:53:54 Home ownership is critical for education
00:53:58 because schools are supported by property taxes.
00:54:04 Not by renting,
00:54:08 but when you're struggling to make life work
00:54:14 and you can barely take care of your kids,
00:54:18 you can't save no money to be able to get in the home.
00:54:23 Didn't have any education 'cause mama didn't have one.
00:54:26 And then we sit around here
00:54:30 being abused, not controlling our destiny.
00:54:35 And so sometimes the easiest thing to do
00:54:40 'cause we don't want to think about the plight we're in
00:54:44 is we go to mind-altering stuff.
00:54:46 - Amen, amen.
00:54:48 - 'Cause that's what Satan want to do,
00:54:51 crush us in our minds.
00:54:54 - Amen.
00:54:54 - But we're gonna pray together
00:54:57 and we're gonna pray looking at our women together.
00:55:01 And I brought you up here for a reason
00:55:04 because we're taking our place back.
00:55:06 (audience applauding)
00:55:09 We're taking our place back.
00:55:14 We're taking our place back.
00:55:22 And we need some help from God.
00:55:23 And we need some cooperation from you.
00:55:28 Help from God and power from God and cooperation from you.
00:55:33 But God is gonna give us a renewed strength.
00:55:39 For the brother that can't find a job
00:55:44 because of your jail time,
00:55:46 God told me to tell you, think of a business.
00:55:48 (audience applauding)
00:55:52 Get some business together, amen.
00:55:55 And be faithful to your business 'til it gets big.
00:56:01 Don't go out there and make 20, 30, $40 a week
00:56:04 and start looking for a car
00:56:06 with some low riders, some big wheels.
00:56:08 Keep driving that piece of thing you got
00:56:12 until when you buy one of those, you can buy cash.
00:56:15 (audience applauding)
00:56:21 Don't dress up your money yet.
00:56:22 Keep wearing what you're wearing
00:56:26 'til that bank account raises up.
00:56:29 You got one woman, you can hardly afford her, don't get two.
00:56:34 (audience applauding)
00:56:37 Amen.
00:56:40 A lot of women waste your time.
00:56:44 You need one woman, I'm 54, I'm finding out, you need one.
00:56:50 (audience laughing)
00:56:53 Just one.
00:56:54 One.
00:56:57 Hello?
00:57:00 I'm going, Susan, are you there?
00:57:07 Are you there, Susan?
00:57:09 Susan, all right, I'm leaving a message.
00:57:11 I'm going out to eat about six o'clock,
00:57:13 I'm going over to Malise.
00:57:15 All right, all right.
00:57:16 Hang up.
00:57:20 (audience laughing)
00:57:23 Rahab.
00:57:27 (audience laughing)
00:57:30 I'm going to dinner at six.
00:57:40 Oh yeah, I can go, I can go.
00:57:43 5.30.
00:57:47 Just about ready to get in the car.
00:57:49 Hello, I got your message.
00:57:51 Something came up.
00:57:59 (audience laughing)
00:58:02 (saxophone music)
00:58:09 (audience applauding)
00:58:12 To have one woman is like being on a cruise
00:58:23 as opposed to being in a city for a vacation.
00:58:29 You know where you're going to eat,
00:58:33 you know who you're going to eat with,
00:58:36 you know who you're going to bed with.
00:58:38 You know who's going to wake you up in the morning.
00:58:41 You just know.
00:58:43 I hate for you to be rolling over in the,
00:58:46 Mary, I mean, it takes our energy and our money,
00:58:51 and it's not wise.
00:58:58 And then if you have everybody, you don't have anybody.
00:59:03 (audience applauding)
00:59:07 Amen.
00:59:08 Amen.
00:59:10 And then you got everybody's pain when they're hurt.
00:59:16 I'm concluding as I pray for myself too.
00:59:24 Isn't it better to give 100% of yourself to one person
00:59:35 than to have 25% here, 25 here, 25 there, 25 there?
00:59:40 And what we call freedom is really not freedom at all
00:59:48 because you got more freedom with one
00:59:54 than you do with five or six
00:59:58 because you can do whatever you want to do with that one.
01:00:02 And don't worry about who left before you got there.
01:00:07 (audience applauding)
01:00:10 Amen.
01:00:13 I want us to touch one another here,
01:00:18 and I want you to join hands out there.
01:00:20 We got us a manpower right here.
01:00:24 Dear Father, in Jesus' name,
01:00:31 Lord, you know me.
01:00:33 So you know, Lord, that I'm joining them before you
01:00:40 and saying, God, we need you to help us
01:00:46 to maintain the walk of a restored man.
01:00:53 Satan doesn't like this.
01:00:56 No, he'd like to trip us up.
01:01:01 He'd like to take all of our gifts and talents
01:01:03 and dump them down the drain.
01:01:07 But Lord, if you see just a little image in us,
01:01:14 I pray, God, that you let your blood restore, reconcile,
01:01:20 strengthen us.
01:01:23 We need so much of your forgiveness.
01:01:26 Please apply it to us now.
01:01:29 And as we walk from this place,
01:01:33 we're going to take our place back.
01:01:35 For you said no weapon formed against us shall prosper.
01:01:41 And so now we claim the victory now over every bad habit,
01:01:47 over every bad situation, over every bad attitude,
01:01:52 over our lack of praise.
01:01:54 We claim the victory, and we claim it right now.
01:01:59 We're going to be good men to the woman you give us,
01:02:02 good men to our children.
01:02:04 And we're going to walk out of here with victory.
01:02:06 And I claim it now, let every brother holler, amen.
01:02:10 Give God the praise in this place.
01:02:14 God bless you.
01:02:16 Let me find your seats.
01:02:19 God bless you.
01:02:20 I love you, boy.
01:02:22 Amen, amen, amen, amen.
01:02:27 I'm in the battle with you.
01:02:29 I'm in a show.
01:02:30 (upbeat music)
01:02:34 (upbeat music)
01:02:36 (upbeat music)
01:02:39 (upbeat music)
01:02:41 (upbeat music)
01:02:44 (upbeat music)
01:02:47 (upbeat music)
01:02:50 (upbeat music)
01:02:52 (upbeat music)
01:02:57 (upbeat music)
01:03:01 (upbeat music)
