00:04 Today's video is going to be a MAC haul.
00:07 So I've been purchasing a few things online and in store
00:10 and I posted a picture on Instagram asking if you wanted me to do a haul
00:13 and you were like, "Duh."
00:15 Let's start with what's on my lips because I know I'm going to get a lot of questions
00:19 and it's something I had to look for.
00:21 I literally hunt this down.
00:23 And this is the lip liner in Soar, which is such a gorgeous shade
00:27 but it's sold out absolutely everywhere.
00:30 I did a few stores.
00:31 I went online, it was out of stock, but I just decided I'll order it anyway
00:35 even though it's out of stock.
00:36 It was back to order for like three weeks.
00:39 But completely worth the wait.
00:41 I absolutely love this color.
00:42 That's what I used in my last video.
00:44 Actually, if you haven't seen it, that's what I'm wearing on my face right now.
00:46 I did it in French, but there is some English titles, so don't worry about it.
00:50 But this, completely worth it.
00:52 The closest thing I have, not even a lip liner,
00:54 would be the Maybelline Cream Matte Lipstick in Touch of Spice.
00:57 I think it would be the closest thing that I own.
00:59 If you have light skin tone and you can't pull off Whirl because it's too brown,
01:03 you need to try to find Soar.
01:05 So you might know this about me, but I'm not really a patient person.
01:09 And three weeks was a long time to wait for Soar,
01:11 so I decided to purchase the color Darvish, which seemed quite similar online,
01:15 but it isn't really, you know.
01:17 It's actually lighter and warmer.
01:19 So if you compare the boxes, I feel like you can see it better.
01:23 I'll obviously include swatches too, but I just wanted to show you.
01:26 As you can see, it's warmer, a little bit lighter.
01:27 The Soar one is a little bit more purple.
01:29 Not really on my lips, but I was trying to find something that looked like
01:33 MAC Lipstick in Faux, which I absolutely love.
01:36 But I know it washes out a lot of people because it's a little bit more cool tone,
01:39 a little bit more gray.
01:40 You would be able to wear this shade.
01:42 The last lip liner that I got, I did not expect to get so many,
01:45 but this one I wasn't sure because it is limited edition.
01:48 I don't like getting limited edition stuff because after that,
01:51 I feel bad for showing it in videos.
01:53 Plus, if I run out, I'm going to be really sad.
01:55 I will attempt to find a dupes, but I don't think it's going to be easy
01:58 because I'm talking about the color Erin, which there's the lipstick,
02:02 and now they came out with the lip liner,
02:04 which was the only one that was limited edition in the collection,
02:07 which I think was like the pencil Mian or something.
02:09 I absolutely love the lipstick, so I knew I needed the lip liner,
02:14 and I really don't regret it.
02:15 It's absolutely beautiful, super creamy, long-lasting.
02:17 I needed it in my life.
02:19 And if you're interested in it, you might still be able to find it.
02:22 So I would say run and get it.
02:24 In my last drugstore haul, I got the Revlon,
02:26 which I actually have here, the photo ready brightening concealer,
02:30 which to be honest, it sucks.
02:32 It really, really sucks.
02:33 Did not work for me.
02:34 It doesn't do anything, basically.
02:35 So I decided to try the Mac one.
02:38 This is the Prep and Prime in the Radiant Rose,
02:41 which is basically the same type of color, like a pinky one.
02:43 And I'm hoping this one is going to work better.
02:46 I didn't try it yet,
02:47 but it's the same type of like pencil brush at the top.
02:50 It's supposed to be pinky tone and to be just brightening.
02:52 I just need this in my life,
02:55 and I'm really hoping this one is going to work.

02:58 but like I said, this one sucks.
02:59 So don't spend your money on it.
03:01 If you really want something like that, I would say get the Mac one.
03:04 I haven't tried it yet, but I doubt it can be as bad as the Revlon one.

03:12 if I didn't talk about way too many lipsticks.

03:16 Again, not my fault.
03:18 I went in store for one color, and she suggested me another one,
03:21 and I still wanted the other one.
03:23 So that's what happened.
03:24 In my Mac lipstick collection video,
03:26 a lot of people were recommending me a few shades,
03:28 and the one that I really wanted was out of stock.
03:30 So I decided to get another one.
03:32 That's how it works, right?
03:34 Still in the trend of like 90s lips,
03:36 I picked up the color Mare, which is a matte finish,
03:39 which I absolutely love.
03:40 It's such a beautiful shade.
03:42 Kind of reminds me like a more wearable version of Faux.
03:44 It's a little bit warmer.
03:45 But I like it.
03:46 Still a wearable shade for me.
03:47 It's not too dark, like a Velvet Teddy could be on me.
03:50 It's like just straight up brown.
03:51 It's too dark.
03:52 This seems perfect for me.
03:54 I absolutely love it.
03:55 And the next one is probably the one that most people were recommending to me.
03:59 And I have to admit, it looks extremely similar to the one that I just showed.
04:04 But the good thing is I can show you swatches.
04:06 You can see the differences and choose, right?
04:08 So hopefully it helps you if you were hesitating between two.
04:12 So this one is the color Brave, which is a hit lighter.
04:15 And it is a satin finish, so it's not exactly the same.
04:18 I've been really liking satin finishes, which I used to really not like them.
04:22 But right now I do.
04:23 I feel like they're more moisturizing than the matte ones.
04:25 But they last quite a long time.
04:26 They do transfer more.
04:28 But the color will still stick on your lips for like six, seven hours easily.
04:32 The next one, I wasn't sure at first.
04:33 I expected it to be too dark and too brown on me.
04:36 But I actually like it.
04:38 I'm talking about Twig, which another color that everyone was raving.
04:42 About another color that everyone was raving about.
04:45 Again, it's a satin finish.
04:46 And again, I've been loving satin finishes.
04:49 So I decided why not?
04:51 And it's a hint darker and a little bit more brown than the other ones.
04:53 You don't really even need me to say these things because you're going to see them in swatches.
04:57 But oh well, the last one is different from the other ones.
05:00 By the way, the color I wanted was all fired up, which I don't know why it was out of stock.
05:06 Because it's not summer.
05:07 But next time I purchase something from MAC, it's that one.
05:10 I really, really, really need that color in my life.
05:13 Anyway, the color that I picked up, the last one is the color Captive that
05:18 no one has ever recommended to me.
05:19 And I feel like it's better for fall, but it's kind of not spring here in Canada yet.
05:24 So I can still wear this.
05:26 And it is, again, it's a finished shocker.
05:28 It's like a muted berry shade, which I absolutely love.
05:32 It looks stunning.
05:33 And nobody ever talks about this.
05:35 And I know that right now, I'm probably going to wear it a few times.
05:38 But next fall, I know I'm going to wear this a ton because it's so wearable.
05:43 You don't necessarily feel comfortable wearing like,
05:45 Erin outside my house every day.
05:47 But this, I can see myself wearing this on a daily basis.
05:50 Last thing is a lipstick.
05:51 Nor a lip product, actually.
05:53 So I am quite shocked.
05:55 The last product is a blush, but it's not really a blush.
05:59 And I'm talking about the color Taupe, which, da da da, clearly not a blush.
06:05 But this is a matte finish, and I really wanted this to contour.
06:09 Not that I'm wearing a lot of contour.
06:11 If you have fair skin, you know how hard it is to find the perfect Taupe-y contour shade
06:15 that doesn't look too grey on you, or it doesn't look like too dark, too muddy, too orange.
06:21 It's so hard.

06:24 So I decided that I would try this one.
06:28 I was kind of not sure if I wanted the blush in Armony or this one.
06:31 I do like this because it kind of reminded me of the NYX Taupe blush, which is called
06:36 the same thing.
06:36 But the NYX one is a little bit more purple-y, which I really like it.
06:40 So I do think I will enjoy this one too.
06:42 Let me know if you've tried Armony, because it looked like something that I would love.
06:47 It kind of reminds me of the Nars contour blush that is in Olympia that I'm actually
06:52 wearing today.
06:53 It's going to be a two-in-one blush and contour.
06:56 So just let me know what you think of Armony so I know if I should get it or not, because

07:01 Like, it's been in my mind for like a week or two and I'm like, "Hmm, maybe this summer."
07:06 But I will be trying this one and I could do a video if you're interested on like all
07:10 the contour that are really great for really fair skin, because I'm still not self-tanning,
07:15 so I'm pretty fair.
07:15 So I could be able to show you how they look like on really pale skin.
