00:04 been shopping during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday and I only recently received
00:09 everything that I purchased. I know that it's been a while, but during exams I just didn't
00:13 have time nor the energy to film this, so we're going to do this today. So I hope you're
00:18 excited because I got quite a few, well not that many, but really nice things that I really
00:23 was excited to get at Sephora. There's a lot of makeup and a little bit of skincare, so
00:28 let's just get right into it. I placed an order on Sephora online to get some of the
00:32 little kits they had for Christmas. They were $12 Canadian and $10 US. So the first thing
00:37 I got was the Bosha pore purifying duo. I really wanted to try the mask. I almost got
00:44 the kit they had, like the full size of this with the concha or something on that sponge.
00:49 I almost got it during the Sephora sale, but I decided not to. But when I saw that for
00:54 $12 I could try it, I decided to get it. It also comes with the black charcoal bloating
00:59 linens, so bloating sheets, but I don't need that so I'm just going to give it to someone
01:04 else during Christmas. But I'm really excited to try the mask. Apparently it really pulls
01:08 everything out of your pore and who doesn't want that? So I picked that one up. I've also
01:12 really been into haircare lately, so I decided to try the Living Proof Perfect Hair Day collection.
01:18 So it comes with three mini sizes. There's the shampoo, the conditioner and the styling
01:23 treatment. So they're pretty small sizes, but it's still good enough that I can try.
01:28 I usually don't spend that much on haircare, but I really wanted to try to do it just to
01:31 try if it's going to be better for my hair. So I decided to try these. They're a pretty
01:34 decent size. It's like one fluid ounce. I don't know how many shampoo I'm going to be
01:37 able to do because I always shampoo twice, but I'm probably going to be able to tell
01:41 if it makes a difference or not. I've heard great things about these products, so hopefully
01:44 they do the same on my hair. I also ordered the Kat Von D, there was the liquid lipstick
01:50 in Lolita, and the lipstick, I don't remember, it was a red shade, but they just didn't come
01:56 with my order. Not sure what happened. I've been having a lot of issues with Sephora online,
02:01 so I wish I would have known, so I would have been able to purchase it in store, but whatever.
02:06 In store I did purchase one more thing, it was the Go Brow Kit by Anastasia Beverly Hill.
02:11 I got the color medium brown and it comes with three things. It comes with the clear
02:15 gel brow, which a lot of people say it's worth the money, but it's like pretty expensive
02:19 for brow gel, and it comes with a little bit of the crayon for your brows, so it's
02:24 like really tiny, but I'm going to be able to tell once again if it works well or not.
02:28 And it comes with a little pair of tweezers, which is always good to have. So I'm going
02:32 to be able to tell if I like these. Personally right now I'm wearing the Anastasia Deep Brow
02:37 Pomade, which is in medium brown too, and I kind of like it. I have to admit, it's something
02:43 I'm going to have to work with a little bit more to get better at it, but it does really
02:46 give you like really defined, intense brows, while still looking somewhat natural, so I've
02:51 been liking that.
02:52 It would not be a haul video if I didn't show at least one lipstick, right? I have to, and
02:57 these I purchased on the NARS website, which right now you already know what I'm talking
03:02 about, and I'm wearing one shade on my lips right now. I have to say, if you order from
03:06 Canada, unless you really want these colors because these were like exclusive to NARS,
03:12 I would not purchase them there. Like if you can purchase them at Sephora, get them there
03:17 because I had to pay like $35 when I received them, which kind of sucks, you know? It's
03:22 like basically 20% off I had to pay again, so.
03:26 So I did ask for some for Christmas, so I didn't purchase the one at Sephora just because,
03:31 just in case, you know? Hoping that I'm going to get one or two shades. I want to de-shade
03:35 Anna and the other one, what is it? Anyway, I wanted two nudes colors, and the one I'm
03:40 wearing right now is exclusive to NARS website, so this one is in Vanessa, which as you can
03:46 see on my lips, it's just gorgeous. Such a beautiful like dark, nudey, mauve-y color,
03:51 which is exactly right up my alley. I just really love it. It goes on, like it's my first
03:56 day wearing it, and it went on super creamy, super opaque. Like I was really impressed.
04:01 Like the formula is really nice. I can't wait to test how long it will last on my lips.
04:05 And the other one is, obviously I couldn't pass this one up. This one is in Claudia,
04:09 which it's a baby pink. I just needed it in my life. I haven't touched it yet, and I can't
04:16 wait to just put it on my lips. It kind of reminds me somewhat of a little bit more wearable,
04:21 probably a snob by MAC. So can't wait to wear that one.
04:27 I know a lot of people wanted me to do a lip swatch video of the NARS lipsticks, but I'm
04:30 still a student, so I can't really afford to buy a whole collection. But like I said,
04:34 I bought these two at the Black Friday, well Cyber Monday, and I'm asking for one or two
04:38 for Christmas. So I might do one, but it's going to be a really short swatch video.
04:42 I used some of my points at Shoppers because they were having an event that your points
04:46 were worth more money. So I purchased a few things. I got the Maybelline Lash Sensational
04:50 mascara, which is new. So I can't wait to try. Let me know if you wanted me to do a
04:56 first impression. I do like doing that because I can really tell afterwards like what it
05:00 looked like in the beginning. So I might do that. And I got two skincare products. I love
05:06 Indeed Labs at the drugstore, wherever you can find them. Like I know you can find them
05:10 in Canada at Shoppers. They're, well I was going to say they're affordable, not if you
05:14 compare it to other things at the drugstore, but they have amazing ingredients in them.
05:18 So for the price, they're really affordable. So I got the one of the Idrelo Run, which
05:22 is a moisturizing booster serum because mine is running low. I thought like the tube still
05:27 looks really full, but starting to have issues like getting some product out. So I got a
05:31 backup because it was for my points, so might as well. And I also decided to try the Pepto
05:36 Bright Fade to Bright. So again, it's a serum, but it's for dark pigmentation. I don't have
05:42 a lot of like acne scarring or anything, but I do have like a few like freckles and everything
05:46 on the sides and I just want to make sure that they don't look too dark. But to be honest,
05:51 it's mostly to get like really radiant, glowy skin, which I just like survived a cold and
05:56 it will hopefully help me look alive once again. Cause right now I'm kind of abusing
06:02 highlighter just to look normal. I forgot to mention quickly at De Sephora, they were
06:07 giving you these little bags when you purchased around, I don't know, I think it was 35, $25.
06:13 So I got one of this one. It's full of like samples, but it's nothing like that crazy
06:17 or interesting. Some of them I do like like the Porefessional, so that one I know I'm
06:21 going to use, but some of these I might just give away to friends and family because I
06:25 have so many sample size. Yeah. The only other thing that I'm really excited in trying is
06:28 the Fresh Eye-Draining Eye Gel. So I'm going to try this one and I'll let you know if it's
06:32 any good. There's a few skincare products and then there's one last product that is
06:35 makeup, but I'm keeping it for the last because I'm excited about it. I did purchase a few
06:40 skincare products from Kiehl's because they were having a sale. So I decided to try a
06:44 few of the products because they're supposed to be good for my skin type. Well, the ones
06:48 that I picked up like for more sensitive and dry skin. So I decided to try the Ultra Cleansing,
06:54 Ultra Facial Cleanser, which apparently is really good again, like I said, for sensitive
06:58 dry skin. And I'm kind of running out of my REN cleansers that I'm using right now, which
07:03 is really fantastic, but I wanted to try something new. So I picked up that one. I also got the
07:07 Ultra Facial Toner, which again, supposed to work really well for sensitive dry skin.
07:12 It's a pretty big size actually. The thing is, Kiehl's is like a little like more expensive
07:17 than drugstore, but it's still somewhat affordable. And I really wanted to try a few of the things.
07:21 So I got also the Ultra Facial Moisturizer. This one is not necessarily for dry skin.
07:25 It's more like for normal skin. I thought it would get just the tiny size, just to try
07:29 it out. I do like layering my moisturizer during winter, just to make sure my skin gets
07:33 all the moisture it needs. So I will probably use this as like the first coat and then apply
07:37 something else over it. It also came with some of the deluxe sample size. I got the
07:43 super multi-corrective cream, which is more anti-aging, but it's pretty decent size. So
07:47 I'm going to be able to tell if I like it or not. It came with the Midnight Recovery
07:52 Eyes, which I believe I can't use. So I'm just going to give it to someone, friend or
07:56 family. And it also came with the Power Strength Line Reducing, which I believe is also a serum.
08:02 So once again, don't have a lot of lines, but prevention is key and a lot more samples.
08:08 So I'm going to be able to try a lot and let you know what.
08:11 Last product was kind of a splurge at the last minute. I just couldn't resist it. I
08:15 asked for Christmas, the Lorac Pro Palettes, like one and two. And so I can't purchase
08:20 them just in case someone is going to buy them for me. But I never asked for the Lorac
08:25 Pro to go and it was back in stock on Amazon. So I decided to get it. I'm honestly overly
08:33 excited by this. It just looks so pretty. And I do love my Lorac Mega Pro Palette. I
08:38 think the formula is amazing, but since it's limited edition, I feel really bad using it
08:43 in videos or even in the makeup that I'm wearing in videos. Since this one is not limited edition,
08:47 I'm going to be able to use it and it looks so pretty. I'm honestly really impressed.
08:55 The colors look even better in person. I did not even swatch it yet, but they look quite
09:00 amazing. And if they're even near the quality of the Mega Pro, I already know I'm going
09:05 to love these. What's nice is they're really neutral shades. So I'm going to be able to
09:09 actually bring it whenever I leave town or something. And it comes with a bronzer and
09:14 two blushes, like coral and a pinky one, which are all matte, which I really appreciate.
09:18 It also comes with little brushes, which I'm not sure if I'm even going to use that, but
09:23 I like that it's super compact and the packaging is really nice. I really can't wait to try
09:28 it to be honest.
