00:08 Now it's already back to school season
00:10 and almost time for fall, but before we hop into fall,
00:14 I want to get together the last of some of my summer favorites for this past month
00:18 so you guys can check them out.
00:19 I will go ahead and get started.
00:21 This, my friends, is a little compact from Kevin Aucoin.
00:24 I've had this for a few years, but I recently rediscovered it
00:27 when I was really in the mood of using a highlighter.
00:30 This is the Candlelight Powder
00:33 and it's the most beautiful highlight on the cheeks.
00:37 It's kind of like this really finely milled golden shade
00:41 and it's very, very flattering on just about any skin tone.
00:44 I like it because it's not too heavy.
00:46 It doesn't have like the chunky kind of glitter.
00:48 It just looks nice and luminescent and glowy.
00:51 I love it. I loved it when I first got it.
00:54 And I love rediscovering things in my drawer
00:57 that I still want to hold on to instead of like looking through and being like,
01:01 "Oh, I never used that."
01:02 Anyway, I've been using this basically all the time,
01:05 anytime I want a little bit extra lift in my complexion
01:08 to look a little more healthy and dewy, but not greasy or shiny.
01:13 Next, I wanted to share a couple of MLBBs.
01:16 You guys know MLBBs are like my favorite type of lip product.
01:20 So I have one lipstick and one lip gloss.
01:23 The lipstick is one I've talked about a long time ago
01:25 and I actually repurchased it because I knew it's a shade that I just really, really love.
01:30 I want to say I gave my other one to my mom
01:33 because she was looking for something really pretty for everyday
01:36 but is still quite hydrating.
01:38 You guys know what this is.
01:39 This is the Revlon Lip Butter in my favorite shade, Peach Parfait.
01:43 It's just this really gorgeous NARS Orgasm in a Lipstick kind of color
01:49 that's kind of this like peachy pink color with golden shimmer.
01:52 I think it feels great on the lips and just really looks nice for everyday.
01:57 You don't have to think too hard about it.
01:59 When you're applying, it's like not going to look crazy

02:06 It's just a pretty color.
02:09 It's really easy to wear, really easy for an everyday basis.

02:13 The next product I wanted to talk about is from Jouer.
02:17 This is their Lip Gloss.
02:18 This is in the shade Hibiscus and I just love this color.
02:23 I don't know if you guys can tell but I'm kind of on a pink kick right now.
02:26 So, that's also definitely reflecting in what I'm choosing for my lips.
02:29 I want a little bit of an injection of color
02:33 that's still kind of wearable for an everyday occasion.
02:36 I love this.
02:37 Again, kind of similar to this but a little more pink pink.
02:40 It's another pinky tint with a little bit of golden shimmer.
02:44 I just think it's really flattering and it gives you a little bit extra dimension.
02:48 If you guys are like a little bit off put by glitter in lipstick,
02:52 I definitely recommend going for a gloss with a little bit more dimension
02:56 because it doesn't look as dated.
02:58 It still looks kind of youthful and modern
03:01 but it's very very easy to wear
03:03 and you'd be surprised how much a gloss just kind of like revitalizes your face.

03:09 Next, I've been super obsessed with doing my brows lately.
03:13 It all started a couple months ago when I got my brows threaded
03:16 and they did a little bit too much.
03:20 I don't know if you guys have had that same kind of experience
03:22 but ever since then I've been like super concerned about my brows
03:26 and like trying to grow them back
03:28 because I just felt like they were too thin
03:30 and the opposite is kind of in right now like big bold brows.
03:34 So, I've been really filling them in
03:36 and I recently discovered the Urban Decay Brow Box.
03:41 It comes with two different shades plus a strip of brow wax
03:44 and then in the bottom half, there's actually two different brow brushes
03:49 as well as a pair of tweezers.
03:51 So, just carrying around this one thing means that you can maintain your brows on the go.
03:56 You can take it with you when you travel
03:57 and not have to worry about remembering tweezers.
04:00 I always forget and it's just like the worst thing
04:03 when you realize you have a bunch of like thick black hairs
04:06 that are so distracting when you're like trying to look nice in front of people.
04:10 That's happened to me.
04:12 Anyway, I definitely recommend this product.
04:14 I think it's a really, really natural color.
04:16 This shade especially.
04:18 I like using the lighter one for my brows which softens them.
04:21 It's not too harsh or pulls red or orange.
04:25 It's just a really nice neutral ashy brown
04:27 and it looks great if you have naturally black hair.
04:30 Next, I wanted to talk about a lash glue.
04:33 Have I specifically called this out ever?
04:36 I don't know if I have but this is absolutely my number one lash glue recommendation.
04:41 You guys know I'm a huge fan of false lashes.
04:44 I actually tested out doing lash extensions this past couple of months
04:51 just because I had an allergic reaction to a much more well-known glue
04:55 and it was really bad.
04:57 It kind of like made my eyes scab up and it was like horrible.
05:01 But this is one glue that has never given me problems.
05:05 It's just my staple and it makes the lashes stay on all day.
05:11 Like I generally don't have to worry about keeping it in my purse
05:14 because it just works so well.
05:17 Shame on me for experimenting with other lash glues
05:20 because that's when I run into problems with my sensitive skin.
05:22 But this is a Korean lash glue.
05:24 It is called Darkness and I believe the brand also has a dark version
05:28 if you like having like the duo dark tone.
05:31 If you want something like that where you don't have to like fix it with eyeliner.
05:34 Honestly, I just use the regular clear kind
05:37 and I rarely have to go over it with extra eyeliner because it does dry clear.
05:42 But this one doesn't give me any allergy problems.
05:44 It's just my favorite and my lashes stay on all day.
05:47 So I don't have to think about it.
05:49 I got mine from Amazon but if you guys know of places that you've picked it up locally,
05:53 let me know because maybe other people can have an easier time finding it.
05:57 But yeah, Darkness glue. It's awesome.
06:00 The next product I wanted to share is a skincare product.
06:03 I kind of went to very very very basic skincare again
06:08 because I was having problems with a few cystic things
06:12 that kept popping up in the same places.
06:14 So I just took everything fun out of my skincare routine.
06:18 Just went to like my no oil moisturizer and eye cream and that was it.
06:24 This is a product that I recently put back in
06:27 because I felt like my skin just wasn't getting enough hydration
06:30 and I was having quite a lot of hyperpigmentation problems.
06:34 I don't know if you guys saw my recent makeup tutorial
06:37 but I started off without any foundation
06:39 and you can see how bad my dark spots have gotten.
06:42 I'll link it over here if you haven't seen it yet.
06:44 But I decided to try out this new product from Clinique.
06:48 It's called Smart Custom Repair Serum
06:51 and I thought it was interesting because it's reportedly a catch-all everything in one.
06:56 It sees what your problems are and it just kind of fixes it.
06:59 So it helps with the dark circles, it helps with premature aging and wrinkles and hydration.
07:05 And that's kind of like all the things that I need right now.
07:09 I've been using it.
07:10 It has not caused me any problems with breakouts whatsoever.
07:15 It does not clog my pores and a lot of products I have problems with my pores.
07:20 So this has been really great and most of all,
07:23 this is like a really shocking thing to me
07:25 because I have very, very low expectations for products that say they'll fade dark spots.
07:30 This has genuinely helped my spots to fade a lot faster.
07:34 I've been extremely impressed and so I wanted to make sure I included it.

07:51 Finally, I wanted to end on another pink note.
07:55 I have been loving, loving the CoverGirl XL nail gel polishes.
08:02 I've been mentioning this on my blog constantly,
08:05 but I have been impressed from the very first XL that I've tried
08:09 to the several that I've tried since then.
08:13 The formula is kind of different.
08:15 You know how a lot of companies are saying like,
08:17 "Oh, this polish is like gel, but it's a regular polish."
08:22 This one does actually have like an extra shiny, squishy-looking finish,
08:27 but you just apply it like regular nail polish.
08:30 The texture is genuinely different than regular polish
08:33 and I feel like it dries pretty quickly.
08:35 It gives really nice lasting, long-lasting finish
08:40 and it's almost like you don't even need a top coat because it's super shiny.
08:43 I'm crazy. I like mine to be like extra, extra, extra shiny,
08:47 so I add my Sesh feet on top all the time.
08:50 But just in general, these colors are gorgeous.
08:53 I have been loving them.
08:55 So I'm just gonna like probably just get all of them and try all of them
08:59 if you guys want to keep up with my nail game.
09:02 I have Manicure Monday on my blogs every single week,
09:05 but these two have been standouts.
09:07 This one is Hot Tea Lemon and this one is Whole Lotta Guava.
09:12 And that's what I have on my nails right now.
09:15 It's just a really great, bright magenta color
09:18 and it just makes me so happy when I look at my nails.
09:21 I know it's like so basic to have pink nails,
09:24 but it's been a while since I've had pink nails.
09:27 I've been doing all this crazy like yellows and greens and purples,
09:31 so it's kind of nice to go back to a standard beautiful pink.
09:34 And I also put it on my toes,
09:36 so very rarely do I have the same color on my fingers and toes,
09:39 but I loved it that much.
