00:00 Hi, I'm Marle and I'll be teaching you an easy simple way of doing how to do a cake.
00:06 And this is a classic white cake.
00:09 Okay, so I'm going to open.
00:12 First of all, the instructions, you need a box of Pillsbury, it's fine.
00:18 And then you need a bowl.
00:20 You need the machine and your measuring cups, your oil, the eggs, and the water.
00:28 It's always better to have everything prepared so you just have it in the hat.
00:32 So I'm going to begin with pouring the powder of the cake in the bowl.
00:42 [sound of baby babbling]
01:07 There you pour it all. I always pour everything and then I put it back in the box just for later so it's easier to throw later on.
01:16 So now the instructions, read the instructions.
01:19 It says one cup, so I have my measuring cups.
01:22 This is one cup.
01:24 And then one third of oil.
01:26 And I have one third of oil.
01:29 Now what you're going to do, and then the three.
01:31 Since you have all the powder in here, now you have to follow the instructions.
01:35 So there's one cup of water, I have one cup of water.
01:38 You pour it in.
01:42 And then you wait and you start mixing it.
01:44 [sound of mixer]
02:02 So the first thing you did is pour the water and when you see it's kind of like already like, it's watery.
02:09 When it's ready, you put the next step is oil.
02:13 I usually use the masala oil and some people use milk, but I use water.
02:19 I follow the instructions. I don't know why they use milk, but I follow the instructions.
02:23 You mix it again.
02:39 When you see it's all blended together, now you have to put the eggs.
02:44 It's better to put parts into it because it absorbs more the cake and it's more moisturized.
02:56 And this is three eggs, so I'm going to pour three eggs.
02:59 I usually put it back in the box for later to throw in the trash.
03:06 It's easier, it helps not move so much and it helps your house to be clean, the environment right here.
03:17 So the third one, here we go.
03:21 [sound of mixer]
03:42 When you have sauce, you use a spatula to get it all around like this.
03:46 To get all the mixture, all the ingredients that are together.
03:54 [sound of mixer]
04:22 Now that you see it's all ready, you get the circle thing that you're going to use to put it in.
04:31 I use the circle usually because it's really pretty and it looks really nice.
04:36 What I use is the butter flavored cooking spray.
04:40 If you don't have the spray, you could use flour.
04:48 I spray all around, especially in the middle and the sides.
04:56 That's good enough, it's all buttery.
05:01 Now that you have everything ready, put this aside and you get it again.
05:05 When you have everything ready, you put it in.
05:18 I go around, I don't know about you guys but it's better to turn it around.
05:25 Pour everything that you can inside the bowl.
05:39 Now that you have everything ready and you scraped everything off the bowl,
05:44 now you just have to get it ready, have it evenly.
05:48 Now you put it in the oven.
05:53 The oven is set for 350 and since I use this kind of bowl to cook it in,
06:01 you have to wait 39 to 49 minutes.
06:04 You could put a timer but I usually time it on the clock.
06:07 43 minutes ago, it's already done.
06:11 Bring it out of the oven and you have to turn off the oven.
06:18 You have to wait 15 to 14 minutes for it to cool down.
06:23 Now that it's cooled down for 15 minutes, you put the plate and flip it over.
06:29 Now what you have to do is put the frosting.
06:33 I got the milk chocolate, there's really different chocolates.
06:36 There's dark chocolate and all kinds of different ones and confetti ones.
06:39 My family and I usually like the milk chocolate.
06:44 You have to open it and you get it at Walmart or Food City, anywhere.
06:50 You start putting it all over the cake.
06:55 You keep repeating the process.
06:57 You turn it around, you spin it, it keeps going until you see that there's no white spots.
07:06 Then you can decorate or you can do whatever you want.
07:09 You can do spikes if you like.
07:11 You can decorate any way you like but I like it brown and with lines.
07:16 I like it all perfectly.
07:18 And this is your cake.
07:25 The reason why I bake.
07:27 Mmm, this is delicious.
