00:00 Hi, I'm Daniel Mabretto and I'm going to demonstrate how to bake a cake.
00:07 Basic ingredients of this cake, one cup of water, three eggs, half cup of oil, and a frosting of your choice.
00:13 I picked dark chocolate because I like dark chocolate.
00:18 Okay, first step, take the one cup of water, pour it into the bowl.
00:26 Grab the oil, fill it up to half cup, pour that into the bowl.
00:54 Take three eggs, one hand.
01:13 Now, have a napkin here, for the eggy greasiness that occurs in your fingers after everything is poured in there.
01:21 Now, we're going to take the box of cake, classic yellow.
01:32 It's going to be a little rough opening this, but make sure you don't make a mess.
01:38 And I'm okay, audience, you're going to get to hear me cheer.
01:46 Once you get the cake, pour that flour all in there.
01:56 Make sure you get every single drop in there.
02:09 Good.
02:11 Now that's done with.
02:14 Now we just mix it up until it's nice and whipped.
02:21 What I like to do is I like to shake it as I'm mixing it.
02:28 Now you're going to want to get everything, but now you're going to end up with some clumps of flour.
02:35 That doesn't taste really good once it's baked.
02:43 Now, around this time is when you should set your oven to 350.
02:50 Because by the time you're finished whisking this up, the oven should be beeping.
02:55 Now I already preheated my oven before the start of this tape.
03:07 Assistant, can you get me a pan sheet, please?
03:18 She'll be a while.
03:21 How's your day going so far?
03:22 Doing good.
03:23 How about yours?
03:24 Kind of like the whole lot for me.
03:25 Yeah?
03:30 Thank you.
03:31 Oh, you forgot one thing, assistant.
03:33 Can you give me some pan spray?
03:36 You're going to want to grease up the baking tray or else the cake will stick to the actual tray and that's no fun.
03:42 Trying to clean up all the little remnants of cake.
03:46 Don't apply too much.
03:48 Just apply very light enough.
03:51 Now you have the option to use butter, but I prefer cooking spray.
03:56 Because, well, first of all, it's healthier.
04:00 Second of all, it's easier. Less mess.
04:02 So once you get your cake batter looking like this, you're going to want to pour it in there.
04:12 Pour it in there.
04:17 That's fine. That's my cat.
04:20 He's hungry for some cake.
04:23 He's really hungry for some cake.
04:28 Make sure you empty the bowl. You want to get everything in there.
04:33 Delicious cake.
04:40 Alright.
04:45 You're going to get messy, I guarantee it.
04:51 Assistant!
04:56 Now, you should even it out as you pour it in there so every single corner gets baked.
05:05 Can you please put this in the oven?
05:09 You're going to want to put it in the oven for at least 34 to 38 minutes.
05:13 I recommend 38 minutes so the cake can get fully cooked and fully baked.
05:21 Now you can either have fun licking the bowl,
05:31 or you can clean it up.
05:33 But I just like to leave the mess for others to clean up.
05:38 Turn off the camera.
