00:00 Hey guys, it's Em, welcome back on my channel. Today's video is gonna be my top 10 favorite pink lipsticks from the drugstore.
00:06 So I will be applying every single one of these colors on my lips as I talked about them,
00:10 so you will be able to see what they look like on me.
00:12 I will let you know why I love them, and I hope I didn't forget anything.
00:16 I feel like as soon as I'm gonna be done filming this, I'm gonna realize I forgot to talk about one or two.
00:21 But the fact that I did think about these 10 shades first says a lot about these. They are amazing,
00:27 so I will be sharing them with you. First one is the Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss.
00:32 This one is the color 101, which is just a beautiful nudey baby pink everyday color on my skin tone at least.
00:38 I think it's really wearable. It kind of reminds me of the Satin Finish by MAC,
00:42 so it goes on pretty creamy, but kind of dries down to a matte finish without being drying.
00:47 It does transfer if you kiss or drink or something, but color is still gonna stay on your lips,
00:52 so it will last you for a few hours. Personally, I really really enjoy the scent, which is kind of a fruity scent.
00:57 I know some people don't like it, so I would suggest to try and smell them in store before buying them.
01:02 But this is one of my favorite formula from the drugstore, especially the ones in the red packaging.
01:07 They are more matte than the black packaging, which are just a little bit more creamy,
01:12 but they're just as great, but I kind of prefer a little bit these ones. Talking about the black packaging ones,
01:16 I had to mention the color 20, which I believe came out with their spring collection last year.
01:22 Absolutely love this color. It looks so beautiful, perfect for spring and summer. Kind of a magenta color with a hint of purple in it.
01:29 Super wearable. It would suit absolutely any skin tone too, because there's no white base in it. Again, really comfortable, really creamy,
01:36 smells pretty again. These last perfectly on your lips until you eat, which again,
01:40 they leave a little bit of a stain, so you could be able to just pull it off that way,
01:44 but I kind of prefer just reapplying it, which they don't look cakey when you apply, which is always a great thing.
01:49 For the last few months, I've been totally obsessed with purply, mauvey pink lipsticks, and this is no exception.
01:55 This is the Maybelline Luspre Blush, which came out with their
01:58 creamy matte formula. By the way, absolutely love. I did do a lip swatch video that I'll link down below,
02:04 but absolutely love these. They don't smell as bad as the other line from Maybelline,
02:08 which is the same thing with the other ones that I will mention.
02:11 I feel like the regular line smells really strongly of plastic. This one
02:16 kind of smells like it, but not as much, especially when it's on your lips.
02:20 You don't smell it at all, which I wouldn't be able to wear it otherwise,
02:22 but this color is just absolutely amazing. This color would suit so many skin tones,
02:28 just because it is a pretty like medium mauvey pink color. It's not too white base. It's not too pink.
02:34 It's not too cool tone, warm tone.
02:36 I just feel like it looks amazing on anyone, but definitively one of my favorite pink lipsticks. Talking of Maybelline lipstick,
02:43 I absolutely love their Vivid range. I will only mention two,
02:47 but I could mention a third one, like the Fuchsia Flash one. Gorgeous.
02:50 But I really wanted to include this bright Barbie pink, which is the color Pink Pop, which
02:54 to be a bright pink, it's a bright pink. Not something I would wear on a daily basis,
02:59 but I think it's just so much fun. You can always mix it up with something else to make it more wearable,
03:03 but if I'm looking for a Barbie pink from drugstore, this is like one of my first choices.
03:07 It's just so beautiful. Love the formula of these. They last so well on the lips.
03:12 They stain your lips as soon as like they dry down to a semi-matte finish.
03:15 They do transfer if I kiss my hand or something.
03:17 This one I feel kind of more similar to the Amplify finish from Mac. So really pigmented colors.
03:23 Once the first layer is gone, there's a stain that is left.
03:26 Absolutely love these. As much as Pink Pop is not necessarily wearable for everyone, especially because it is white base, this one
03:33 everyone needs to get this. This is the color Vivid Rose, which as you can see, kind of a pinky rosy shade.

03:41 This would suit anyone. Like everyone that I've seen wearing this, it looks amazing.
03:47 Super wearable, super comfortable. They do smell once again a little bit like plastic,
03:53 but I feel like it's not as bad as their regular line, which I really again can't stand. This, love it.
03:59 It doesn't smell on my lips. It again dries down to a stain. I wear it all day.
04:05 You can just actually just tap it on your lips with a little bit of a lip balm or just on your dry lips.
04:09 You just blend it and it's just a beautiful stain that will last all day. Absolutely recommend this for absolutely anyone.
04:14 Can I say absolutely more? If you're looking for one lipstick to buy for spring,
04:20 you need this one in your life. Another not so wearable shade, but again, so much fun, can't help it.
04:27 Need to talk about these. The Wet n Wild Miguel Est lipsticks are
04:30 $2.89 in Canada. So they're probably cheaper in the US.
04:34 Absolutely amazing. These are so pigmented, like I just need to show it.
04:39 You get so much for your money. They are comfortable on the lips. I know some people think they're drying. Personally, I don't have any issue.
04:48 They don't smell like anything. The packaging is a little cheap and it does get really dirty really quickly.
04:53 But you get so much pigmentation for a price. Absolutely love this.
04:57 So if you're looking for really fun colors, especially the pinks, they have so many.
05:02 I left it for like two seconds on my hand and it's like stinging.
05:06 If you love mid-tone pink, you will love the Milani statement lipstick in the color 33, which is
05:15 Rose Amour. These smell like fruits, once again. So if you love the type of lipsticks, you need to try this one.
05:22 It is somewhat of a
05:24 matte finish. It goes on really creamy. Kind of reminds me actually from the formula of the matte lipstick from MAC.
05:29 It goes on creamy, but it dries down pretty quickly to a matte finish. It's not drying.
05:33 So once again, the color will transfer if you drink or eat, but this one, most of the color will stay no matter what.
05:39 So NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Addis Ababa is one of my favorite color ever.
05:44 It's such a bright Barbie pink. Kind of reminds me of Candy Yum Yum by MAC.
05:47 So as I was saying, it goes on like a mousse at first and dries down to a really, really matte finish.
05:52 You can drink, you can kiss and barely anything will transfer.
05:55 The only thing that will make it remove is if you eat something, especially that is greasy,
06:00 then most of the inside will disappear, which is kind of unusual.
06:04 The only thing that I'm not crazy about is that you kind of have to remove it completely before reapplying it, just because it can
06:10 be a little too cakey when you apply it over top.
06:12 Otherwise, if you're just planning to go outside your house and just be drinking, not eating, these will last for hours.
06:18 I kind of wanted to give a special mention to the NYX Matte Lipstick, which I adore this formula.
06:24 This one is a little bit more on the mauvey nude side, but since I did the same thing with the IN version, why not?
06:29 This is a dupe for MAC Faux, so if you were looking for something more affordable, you will love this one.
06:33 It is on the gray side, especially if you have warm skin tone, might not suit you.
06:37 But if you're more like neutral or cool tone, you need this in your life. Looks amazing. So comfortable on lips.
06:43 They don't have a scent. They are creamy, even though they say they're matte, they're not really that matte.
06:47 They are more like creamy, dries down to a matte finish type lipstick, somewhat of like the
06:52 satin finish from MAC. These will last perfectly on your lips until you eat, and even if you eat, the only thing that will happen is
06:59 like the inside will be just left with stains, so it doesn't look crazy.
07:02 You can easily reapply it over top, too. The NYX Matte Lipstick range has so many beautiful pinks, like Audrey, Summer Breeze.
07:09 There's so many different ones, but the one I really want to mention is the one that I'm wearing right now,
07:13 and it is the color Sweet Pig, just because I
07:16 absolutely love MAC flat-out fabulous lipstick, and I've been trying to find a dupe, but it's really difficult.
07:22 But I think this one is pretty close. So this one is the NYX one, whoops, and this one is flat-out fabulous.
07:28 So I think maybe not an exact dupe,
07:30 but I would say that it's similar enough that if you want to not splurge on the MAC lipstick, get Sweet Pig. The main difference,
07:37 it's like it's a hint more like gray, less bright, but that's it. I feel like on my lips
07:42 there's not a huge difference. Absolutely recommend this because this will suit anyone.
07:47 Again, great formula, super creamy, super comfortable, doesn't emphasize any fine lines, any dry patches, lasts long on your lips,
07:54 doesn't have any funky scent, so if that's an issue for you, super affordable. So that's it guys.
