A studio infamous for ripping off Hollywood blockbusters with soundalike titles, The Asylum came up with an original premise with this story of two prehistoric aquatic titans fighting it out. The octopus’s presence in the beach scenes of Meg 2: The Trench’s trailer implies that both it and a Meg will likely face off.
