NT Coroner to examine deaths of four Indigenous women

The Northern Territory Coroner Elisabeth Armitage will begin months of investigations to examine the deaths of four Indigenous women. 79 women have been killed by a current or former partner in the NT since 2000, according to latest figures from the coroner’s office – 74 of them were Aboriginal.
