00:09 Today I have a special Panda-rific video.
00:13 And by Panda-rific I mean it's about concealer.
00:15 You guys know that I have my duty and obligation to perform Coffee Break research.
00:21 And usually what ends up happening is I buy way too much stuff, I don't have enough time
00:25 to review it, and it ends up going into the forgotten drawer.
00:30 Where I sit on my vanity to do my makeup, the right side, second drawer, is the forgotten
00:35 drawer.
00:36 It is full to the brim of products that I have bought and I have yet to try and research
00:40 for you guys.
00:41 In that drawer were the LA Girl Pro Conceal HD concealers.
00:45 Where did I hear about these concealers?
00:47 I don't remember, but I bought them before I even went to IMATS and IMATS was in April.
00:54 It's July.
00:56 So these concealers have been collecting dust in that drawer unused and unloved.
01:01 LA Girl Cosmetics is one of those very, very affordable brands that you could even find
01:06 at like the dollar store.
01:08 These concealers are actually kind of tricky to find in person.
01:11 Usually the easiest way to find them is off of the LA Girl website or Lady Moss or where

01:20 I don't remember.
01:21 There's a ton of websites that sell these concealers online.
01:24 These are $5 concealers.
01:26 I say go straight to LA Girl and buy them from them.
01:29 I think they have free shipping with like $20.
01:30 I mean it's a very affordable website and you'll probably end up buying other stuff
01:34 there.
01:35 So basically these concealers are $5 and they claim to be HD Pro Concealers.
01:40 So they're supposed to be heavy duty, full coverage, amazing, creaseless, change your
01:44 life type concealers.
01:47 You guys know how I am.
01:48 I always have my preconceived notions over products.
01:51 I was like, "It's a $5 concealer from LA Girl."
01:54 And I don't know if you guys know this, but LA Girl's been around for a while.
01:57 And LA Girl was actually a brand that my mom would buy me at the dollar store growing up
02:02 just to play with.
02:04 So I was like, "I'm going to take LA Girl seriously, that brand?"
02:08 And so I had my preconceived notions of the quality that these concealers could bring.
02:14 But I was so wrong.
02:16 You guys don't know how much I enjoy being wrong when it comes to beauty products.
02:22 Not when it comes to my relationship with Mr. Man.
02:24 I'm always right.
02:25 So I am so wrong about these concealers.
02:29 They are so great.
02:31 Very thick.
02:32 But they do ... I mean they cover.
02:37 Really good thing about these concealers as well is they come in 18 different shades.
02:42 Yes, two away from 20.
02:45 So guaranteed that you will find a concealer to cover up your panda disease.
02:49 I'm going to bring you guys in closer to show you the magic unicorn powers of these concealers.
02:53 I got two different colors because I wasn't sure which color would be my match.
02:58 You guys know I've told you before, I like to buy concealers that are salmon in shade
03:03 because I would rather cover up the dark circles than to highlight them.
03:08 A lot of times people say, "Oh, you buy a concealer one to two shades lighter and then
03:12 you do the backwards triangle and you highlight your face and what up?"
03:16 I'm not going to highlight the darkness of my under eye circles.
03:19 I would rather camouflage ... Salud, puppy.
03:22 I would rather camouflage the darkness.
03:25 So I bought two shades.
03:26 I tried to get a lighter one and then a salmon colored one.
03:30 The only thing that I did is I went to Google and I Googled LA Girl HD Concealer Swatches.
03:37 There's so many beautiful bloggers that have already done swatches on their skin tone and
03:42 they swatch every single color.
03:44 You can kind of pick and decipher which ones would probably be good for you, which is why
03:48 I only got two and I'm happy with both.
03:50 The two colors that I got were natural and creamy beige.
03:54 For references, I am a Mac.

03:59 For references, I am a C3 in Mac or NC25.
04:06 I'm a 3.0 in Urban Decay.
04:09 I am a Rattan or 2W2 in Estee Lauder Double Wear.

04:17 I'm a W4 in the L'Oreal True Match.
04:20 So just so you can get an idea.
04:21 So the two colors that I use are creamy beige and natural.
04:26 The product comes like this.
04:28 It's like a squeezy tube and it has a twist off cap.
04:31 So that's really cool.
04:32 It actually seals the product.
04:33 You can see the tip is like a brush tip.
04:36 So you basically squeeze it really gently and then you'll see the product come out.
04:40 Did you see that?
04:42 And the product itself, it's hard to describe because it's thick but it's also really really
04:49 creamy.
04:50 The product's a little tricky to describe because it does come in a squeeze tube.
04:54 The texture of it, the viscosity or the thickness of it kind of reminds me of the Hard Candy
05:00 Glamouflage or the Kat Von D Tattoo Lock It Foundation but this one doesn't have that
05:06 like oiliness about it.
05:08 Those are very slippery.
05:10 They feel like they're thick but very oily and slippery.
05:14 These, even though they come out very thick, when you apply it and you kind of brush it
05:20 on or blend it out with your finger or your beauty blender, it has almost like a dryness
05:27 about it.
05:28 So it's creamy but it's dry.
05:30 It's not shiny.
05:31 It actually has like a demi-matte finish to it.
05:35 So I don't know.
05:37 I mean there's nothing worse for me than a concealer that claims to be full coverage
05:42 but it has like a shiny finish.
05:43 I don't like that because then I have to set it and I never trust setting it because it's
05:47 still going to be creasy and greasy.
05:51 The other one is creamy beige and this one's a little bit darker and I got this specifically
05:56 just for my dark circles because it does have a really orangey salmon undertone to it.
06:03 So this one right here is natural and then this one right here is creamy beige.
06:07 You guys, these concealers, creamy, matte, and don't crease.
06:13 What's going to seal the deal for you guys is I am a hardcore concealer lover.
06:16 I have a concealer drawer.
06:19 I have tried so many concealers and I always go back to the same two.
06:24 I like the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer and I also like the Lancome Waterproof Under Eye
06:30 Concealer.
06:31 Those are my two holy grail, ride or die.
06:33 If I could only use two concealers for the rest of my life, it would be those.
06:37 And then just recently, I hauled the Clos DuPont $70 concealer at Neiman Marcus.
06:45 This was a celebration gift for myself for reaching my 100,000 subscribers.
06:50 When everyone says this is the best concealer in the world, I prefer the LA Girl Concealer
06:56 over this one.
06:57 This is not a bad concealer.
06:59 This is a great concealer.
07:01 It's healthy for the skin.
07:02 It's talc free.
07:03 It's amazing.
07:04 It doesn't crease.
07:05 If you compare the way this looks in my under eye and the way this looks on my under eye,
07:10 I prefer this one 10 times over.
07:14 The way it photographs, the way it looks on camera, the way it looks in person and in
07:17 daylight, this is way better.
07:19 I'm starting to think that the shade that I got in the Clos DuPont is just way too light.
07:24 I should have gotten a shade darker, but this is the one that the associate recommended.
07:28 But I'm pretty sure if I go a shade darker, I might be a little bit more happy with it.
07:32 But you guys, this is a $5 concealer.
07:34 Do you know how many concealers I could buy with the $70 that I wasted on this?
07:38 That's a lot of concealer.
07:40 One of my favorite things about this product as well is it's very easy to over conceal.
07:45 I don't know if you guys have ever done it where you think you're applying a good amount,
07:49 but you end up applying way too much and then it creases even though it's a creaseless concealer.
07:54 This is one of those concealers that it's kind of hard to overdo.
07:59 So not only is it affordable, but it's user friendly.
08:02 It has that really cute brush tip applicator that helps you deposit it and then you could
08:07 use your fingertips or your beauty blender to blend it out.
08:09 But I haven't had any horrifying experiences where this settles into the fine lines, where
08:14 it creases on me, where it oxidizes, it doesn't oxidize or change color.
08:19 It is such a great concealer, you guys.
08:21 I highly recommend you trying this out.
08:23 But I do suggest you look up swatches.
08:27 If you can, look up swatches and get two colors that you think may work for you because there's
08:31 so many different shades in the range that you may get a little confused.
08:35 You guys, I am so excited with this concealer find because it's very hard for me to find
08:40 a concealer that I can tell you I love.
08:43 It has taken me a lot of time and patience and frustration because I try so many concealers
08:49 that I hate.
08:50 It's so easy for me to just hate a concealer and it's so difficult for me to love one.
08:54 The best part, I would say, if you were to say, "Dani, what's the best part about this
08:58 concealer?"
08:59 The number one best thing, if you have dry skin and you don't prefer or you don't like
09:05 to set your concealers with powder because powder in the under eye area tends to dry
09:10 it out and give you premature wrinkles, you could probably get away without setting this
09:17 concealer with a powder because it kind of sets on its own.
09:21 It does dry a little bit.
09:23 It doesn't get dry, but it sets on its own and it really doesn't move anywhere.
09:28 It just freezes on the skin and that is just such a plus.
09:32 I told you guys in another video that I don't set my concealer every time I wear concealer
09:39 because I don't want to dry out my under eye area.
09:42 When I use this one, like today, I didn't set it with a powder.
09:48 I like products that offer you versatility where you can wear them different ways and
09:52 they will still function the way they're supposed to.
