00:03 Hi guys!
00:04 Welcome back to my channel.
00:05 How are you today?
00:06 You guys, is my hair getting long?
00:07 I feel all excited like, you know, my luscious long hair.
00:08 So today I'm here with this eye tutorial and I'm not going to take any credit for it.
00:21 This tutorial was 100% copied from Shannon from ShanXO.
00:29 I don't even need to tell you who that is because she's like the queen of YouTube.
00:34 And I didn't see this tutorial.
00:37 And it's funny because my friend Sam and I always joke that I'm Julie G's biggest fan
00:43 and she's Shannon's biggest fan.
00:46 So I'll link both of their channels down below in case for some miracle you don't know who
00:51 I'm talking about.
00:52 But I was watching a video that Shannon posted and her eyes were like this.
00:57 And I was like, "Oh, please baby Jesus, please let there be a tutorial."
01:01 And she's kind of like me where she links everything.
01:04 Thank you for doing that Shannon if you're by some miracle of God watching this.
01:09 Thank you for doing that.
01:11 I never realized how practical it was.
01:13 You know, you guys always say, "Oh, it's so awesome that you do it."
01:16 But it really is.
01:18 I mean when I'm watching someone's video and they actually have a link to something that
01:21 I need there, it's so helpful.
01:24 So she had this tutorial linked and I was like, "Yes."
01:29 And I had these two Stila Magnificent Metals in my collection.
01:34 And because I've been doing...
01:35 Remember I told you guys I was like, "I need to go through my stuff and I need to show
01:38 some love to some of my old makeup that I haven't gone through or recycled through."
01:44 And so...
01:45 Or cycled through.
01:46 So I decided to bust out my Too Faced chocolate bar and these two metal shadows that I'm pretty
01:53 sure eventually will dry out.
01:56 So I kind of need to start using these.
01:58 And I used these products in conjunction to do this, which again was completely stolen
02:04 or borrowed or inspired by Shannon.
02:07 I will link her tutorial in the description box below.
02:10 But if you want to see my take on it with the products that I used, I think she used
02:13 Anastasia products.
02:15 So if you guys want to see it with the products that I use, then please keep watching.
02:19 Okay, let's go ahead and get started.
02:21 I already primed my eye with MAC's Paint Pot in Soft Ogre.
02:25 And what I'm going to do is find my brush that's not here.
02:30 Take this giant flat shader brush and we're going to use our Oldie But Goodie Too Faced
02:35 chocolate bar palette and the color White Chocolate.
02:39 This is my favorite...
02:40 One of my favorite brow bone highlights.
02:43 And it's just matte and milky, but it's not white.
02:48 It highlights naturally, almost like you just have illumination on that part of your eyelid.
02:53 You see it's not really...
02:54 There's not much color to it.
02:56 And I'm going to apply that right below my brow all the way down to my crease.
03:02 And then I'm going to take my Sigma E40 or any giant fluffy blending brush and we're
03:07 going to use the color Salted Caramel.
03:10 That's this beautiful warm brown.
03:12 And that's going to go all over our crease and slightly over.
03:17 It's going to be our crease and transition shade.
03:20 So it's going to be like the widest crease color ever.
03:28 Then I'm going to take a smaller flat shader brush like this and the same color, Salted
03:32 Caramel, and that's going to go in the lower lash line.
03:38 Then take a different shader brush or flip that one around and you're going to dip it
03:42 into Strawberry Bon Bon.
03:44 This is probably the worst color in this palette.
03:47 I mean the worst.
03:48 It's absolutely awful.
03:50 It's powdery.
03:51 It's not even pink.
03:53 It hardly shows up.
03:55 But I tend to reach for it when I want to do a lighter base so that it makes more...
04:00 It makes color stand out.
04:02 Or if you're going to put it under a really shimmery color, it makes the shimmer look
04:06 a lot more lighter.
04:10 Then I'm going to take the...
04:12 This is the fun part.
04:13 Then I'm going to take the Stila Magnificent Metals in Rose Quartz and it looks like this.
04:24 Make sure you take a flat, almost like a paddle, synthetic brush and you're just going to pack
04:29 it on.
04:30 It's going to take a while to build and you're just going to pack it on and pack it on and
04:34 pack it on.
04:36 It kind of scabs.
04:38 I know that sounds gross, but it kind of scabs.
04:40 You see that?
04:42 It's like makeup scabs.
04:44 So you really have to take a really light amount and then apply it.
04:50 And then take a little bit more and then apply it.
04:52 If you get too much on your brush, it will just scab on your eyelid.
04:58 I can't speak from experience, but I'm sure eventually with your blinking and throughout
05:03 the day, that scab is going to fall off.
05:06 So you want to be really careful.
05:10 You don't want to have one of those embarrassing moments where you're trying to hit on a guy
05:12 or something and then all of a sudden you have this giant sparkly mole on your face.
05:17 Well, actually, that would be a good thing.
05:21 I cry tears of diamonds.
05:22 Where do I come up with this stuff?
05:26 Then I'm going to take a water resistant black liner and this is going to go in your tight
05:33 line and your water line.
05:39 I like this one from Prestige because it's really creamy and you have plenty of time
05:44 to smudge it out or to set it.
05:52 Then take a pencil brush and if you have some spill over of this black liner, just kind
05:58 of smear it out.
05:59 I know that sounds weird, smear it out, but just kind of drag the liner a little bit to
06:05 give yourself a little bit more dimension.
06:09 If you get rid of any of the one that's in the water line, we can just go back and put
06:12 some more after we add the copper.
06:15 Then I'm going to take Comix Gold from Stila.
06:18 Look at that.
06:19 Isn't that crazy?
06:20 Imagine that packed on the lid.
06:22 Then I'm going to take Comix Gold and that's going to go on the lower lash line.
06:33 Then I'm going to use this awesome little contraption here.
06:37 This is a mascara and eyeliner duo from Model Co.
06:43 I think is the brand.
06:45 Yeah, Model Co.
06:47 Check this out.
06:48 You open the top and it's a little liquid liner and then you open the bottom and it's
06:56 a mascara.
06:57 Isn't that cool?
06:58 I'm going to use this for my liquid liner and then I'm also going to use the mascara.
07:28 That's a completed look.
07:29 I know, right?
07:30 Oh, God.
07:31 These Stila shadows are a little bit tricky to use.
07:38 Not high maintenance.
07:39 They're kind of tricky to use.
07:40 Once you get the hang of them, they're awesome.
07:41 I don't know if they're worth $30, but look at that.
07:49 It's like, oh my goodness.
07:54 This is what the bath water of a unicorn looks like once they're done taking a bubble bath.
07:58 You know what I mean?
08:00 They're not dirty.
08:01 They're never dirty.
08:02 They just release glitter.
08:03 That is it for this tutorial.
08:04 I really hope you guys enjoyed it.
08:05 I will link Shannon's original tutorial in the description box below in case you guys
08:14 want to see it done properly.
08:16 I will link that in the description box below.
08:18 I'm going to keep doing these tutorials for you guys because it helps me cycle through
08:23 some of my oldies but goodies and it also helps you hopefully get inspired or at least
08:30 laugh at my unicorn jokes because I do too many of those.
08:35 Anyway, I really hope you guys enjoyed this video.
08:38 Check the description box for any of the products that I used or anything that I'm wearing.
08:43 That will be listed in the description box below.
08:44 Please let me know your thoughts in the comment section below and as always, if you found
08:48 this video useful, entertaining, or something, please give me a thumbs up or subscribe if
08:52 you haven't already and until next time, this coffee break is over.
08:56 Bye guys!
