00:00 Coffee break with me.
00:03 Woo!
00:04 Hi guys!
00:05 Welcome back to my channel.
00:06 How are you today?
00:07 Happy Thursday.
00:08 Today I'm here with another ColourPop collaboration tutorial and this one is with the beautiful
00:14 Serene Wu.
00:16 Another smaller channel here on YouTube but she is just one of those gorgeous beauties
00:20 that I love to watch.
00:21 And you know that I love to incorporate diversity and variety in all of the looks that I do.
00:27 So I think Serene is going to come up with an amazing, an amazing tutorial because she's
00:32 very creative, she's very stunning and she has almond shaped eyes which I know a lot
00:37 of times you'll see my tutorials and you're like, "Yeah, but I don't have that much retail
00:41 space up there.
00:42 What am I going to do?"
00:43 So she does come up with really, really beautiful almond shaped flattering eye looks which I
00:49 think you guys are going to find very beneficial.
00:52 And because this is another ColourPop collaboration, we decided to come together and use some ColourPop
00:57 products.
00:58 We're always at liberty to decide whatever ColourPop products we find interesting.
01:03 So this look I decided to use one ColourPop shadow on my eyes.
01:07 I'm wearing a ColourPop blush on the cheeks and I'm also wearing ColourPop lippy products.
01:12 So it's kind of loaded with ColourPop.
01:15 But in addition to that, we decided to use the same palette.
01:19 So both of us are using the Lorac Unzipped palette, the original, not the new gold one.
01:25 So I don't know, maybe it could be something you wear for Valentine's Day because it is
01:29 around the corner and these are really pretty pinky mauve-y shades.
01:32 So I came up with this, I don't know, mauve-y, plum-y, smokey eye look.
01:38 But don't worry because if you do not have this palette, there are some good alternatives
01:43 that I'll share with you at the end of the video.
01:45 And then maybe you'll be like, "Hey, I don't need to shop for more stuff because I have
01:48 that in my collection."
01:49 So if you guys want to see how I got this look, this look, then please keep watching.
01:53 Okay, so I already primed my eye with MAC's Paint Pot in Soft Ochre, like I always do
01:59 because I'm predictable.
02:00 Now what I'm going to do is the same thing I do in all my tutorials.
02:04 And I'm taking the color Undercover, that's the matte highlight shade in this palette,
02:11 and I'm going to use the same brush I always do.
02:14 Okay, you can skip this part.
02:17 It's the same as all my videos.
02:19 And I'm going to apply it right underneath the brow bone and I'm going to actually bring
02:22 it down all the way to the crease because I noticed that it's a really light shade and
02:29 it's not really going to interfere too much with all of the other colors that you use.
02:34 And it helps blend out any additional product that you use.
02:37 So you're kind of creating a really thin layer of powder that's going to facilitate the blending
02:41 of any other colors that you use in the crease or as your transition shade.
02:46 After that, I'm going to take my E40 and I'm going to dip it into the color Unconditional.
02:51 And that's this really beautiful, I don't know, it's like a lavender, mauve-y shade.
02:58 It is matte.
02:59 And even if you don't have this Unzipped palette, the original, not the new gold one, even if
03:04 you don't have the original Unzipped palette, you can find similar shades.
03:08 I'm talking super similar shades in the new Tarte, Tarte Lip Palette.
03:14 Now what I'm going to do is take a flat shader brush, like my $1 Elf one that I always use,
03:21 and I'm going to put it into the color Unbrittled, Bridal, Unbridled.
03:26 This shade right here.
03:28 And that's going to go all over the lid.
03:33 Always tap off the excess, especially if you've already done your face, because you don't
03:37 want to ruin your foundation.
03:39 I slowly push the brush into the inner corner and then go around the curve of my eye.
03:47 That's how I know where my entire lid is, or where it stops and ends.
03:52 Starts and ends.
03:53 And then the same thing.
03:55 Start at the middle and then work your way out.
03:58 Go all the way to the top.
04:00 And I do it about, I do one side and then the other, and then I go in for a third time.
04:06 I apply that to the center and bring it up to the crease.
04:09 I want to make sure that I have even coverage.
04:13 So we already did the brow bone, the transition shade, and the lid.
04:16 Now we're going to take a clean blending brush, smaller than the E40, and we're going to run
04:22 that right into the crease.
04:24 Completely naked, no additional product.
04:26 And so any extra product from the lid is going to blend nicely into the crease.
04:33 And it's going to look like you used an additional color, which you really didn't.
04:36 This is actually a very, very easy look.
04:40 It's almost like a plum, smoky eye for beginners.
04:46 It's super easy.
04:47 We're using these three colors.
04:48 For the lower lash line, I'm going to take a chocolate brown liner.
04:51 This is from Jane in the color brown.
04:54 And I'm going to run that along my lower lash line, as close to the lashes as possible.
05:01 But if you get a little messy, it's okay, because we're still going to smudge it out
05:03 anyway.
05:05 So run that along the lower lash line.
05:07 If you want to put some in your waterline, you can as well.
05:12 You know how I feel about dark in my waterline.
05:16 Take a pencil brush, and you're going to smudge that out.
05:21 See how it gets messy anyway?
05:22 So it's no big deal.
05:23 Kind of carry it out, almost like if you were doing a winged liner on the bottom lash line
05:28 instead of the top.
05:29 All that extra product.
05:30 And then you're going to take the same brush, you're going to dip it into the color-- I
05:37 don't remember which one I used.
05:39 Oh my gosh.
05:40 I think it was this one.
05:41 Let's say it was this one.
05:42 Dip it into the color Unreal, and just the tiniest bit with that same dirty pencil brush,
05:48 and you're going to run it on the first half of the lower lash line on top of that dark
05:54 chocolate pencil.
05:55 Even though you're like, "Wait, that doesn't even show up."
06:00 It just makes it look a little bit more bright and awake.
06:04 So just build that color slowly.
06:07 Take the same pencil brush, and you're going to dip it into the ColourPop Shadow in Mooning.
06:14 Looks like that.
06:15 This is actually like a classic chocolate coffee brown, and it's not going to show up
06:21 much, but we're just going to use it for that almost glimmer or sparkle effect.
06:27 It also helps set the eyeliner.
06:31 Now we're going to take this dirty pencil brush.
06:34 Just hold your eye gently, don't pull, and run whatever is left on the pencil brush along
06:40 your top lash line.
06:41 If you notice that you're kind of running out of color, and your eyes aren't going to
06:45 match like over here, take a black water-resistant pencil, and this I add to my tight line, and
06:55 then I kind of try and smear it up at the top a little bit like this.
07:02 You see like the tiniest little smudge that I did?
07:05 Tiniest little smudge.
07:06 And then take that same pencil brush, and you're going to run that.
07:12 Just smudge it, smudge it, smudge it before it dries.
07:14 Before it has a chance to dry, smudge it along your top lash line.
07:20 And it's just going to give your eye a little bit more dimension and more depth.
07:25 It kind of gives you that like sexy, sultry cat eye look without actually having to use
07:30 like a liquid liner.
07:31 I know that can be intimidating for some people, like a cream liner or a liquid liner.
07:34 So it's going to give you that sexiness.
07:36 If you wanted to do something similar for work, just leave out this black liner, and
07:40 it's a little bit more suitable for the daytime.
07:42 Well, anything is suitable for the daytime for me.
07:47 But yeah, just do that, and then we're going to take this same black liner, and that's
07:52 going to go in the, what is this called?
07:56 I always forget this.
07:58 The tight line.
07:59 Now what I'm going to do is I'm going to curl my lashes with my new awesome lash curler
08:07 from Tarte.
08:08 I hauled this when my friend Samantha came visit, and I--came visit--came to visit, and
08:12 I really, really like it.
08:13 It still freaks me out a little bit that it doesn't have like finger holes, because I
08:17 feel like I'm going to be distracted and like rip my eyelashes out.
08:20 Now just add a couple of coats of your favorite mascara, and we are actually done with the
08:24 eye look.
08:25 I'm going to come back and show you a new ColourPop--Pop--Pop--ColourPop blush, and
08:32 what I'm wearing on my lips.
08:33 That's the completed eye look.
08:34 You see how easy it is, and it really, really opens up your eyes.
08:38 It's an eyeshadow look that's flattering on all eye shapes, even hooded eyes, so it's
08:43 very easy to achieve, so I really hope you guys will try it.
08:46 I also wanted to share what's on my lips.
08:48 Isn't this amazing?
08:49 This is one of my favorite colors, Don't Tell Frida.
08:52 This is Button from ColourPop, and I think it's one of their best sellers.
08:55 ColourPop designs their products to complement one another, so if you get the liner, it complements
09:00 the lipstick and vice versa, but this is one of the few couples of products that aren't
09:07 the same exact shade.
09:08 If you buy Frida, the eyeliner, or the lip liner and the lipstick are the same exact
09:12 color.
09:13 If you get Button, the liner is a little bit more brown than the lipstick, and they just
09:19 go so well with each other because it's kind of giving you the perfect combination, but
09:25 if you use them separately on their own, you get another world of possibilities with them,
09:31 so I really like those.
09:32 The other thing that I'm wearing, and you can see it on my face right here, it's a really
09:37 light wash of color, is a new ColourPop Super Shock Cheek Blush.
09:44 They just came out with blushes, and so you can tell the difference in size.
09:47 This is a shadow, and this is a blush.
09:49 It's the same exact texture, the same formula, but they do have different finishes.
09:54 They have the shimmery, they have the matte, and I'm not going to lie, they're a little
09:59 tricky to use as a cheek product because it's that moussey consistency, but it's not a cream.
10:07 It's moussey, but not a cream, so the color sticks to your finger, but it doesn't stick
10:12 very well to brushes.
10:14 I've thought that the best way to apply it is to take a little bit on a stipple brush
10:19 like this one from e.l.f.
10:21 This is their classic stipple brush, not the little one, and I kind of push it into the
10:25 product and then swirl it a little bit, and then deposit the original application, and
10:33 then once I see where I want it, then I go in with two fingers and apply it to the centers
10:38 of the apples of my cheek.
10:39 So I just pack it onto my stipple brush, and I deposit it where I want to put it.
10:44 Usually I just kind of focus on this apple area of my cheeks, and then I bring it up.
10:50 But you guys know where blush looks best on you, so you would apply your own individual
10:54 technique.
10:55 So you see, I'm putting the initial deposit or application where I like it, and then what
11:01 I'm going to go do, or go back and do, is take these two fingers and push them into
11:06 the product.
11:07 You see, there's very little on there.
11:10 And then kind of deepen the shade.
11:14 I purposely didn't wear any highlight or bronzer or contour powder today because I want you
11:19 guys to see how beautiful this color is.
11:21 This is in the color prenup.
11:23 This is my favorite color of all of the colors they have.
11:25 They are not available for sale yet, so I wanted to show you guys a little sneak peek
11:29 about them, but let me know if you guys want to see a review or swatch video on these blushes,
11:33 because you know how I feel about ColourPop.
11:35 They're my jam.
11:36 I really like it.
11:37 This is the color prenup, like I told you guys, definitely my favorite.
11:40 It's almost like a satiny pink.
11:42 It's like the perfect Easter pink.
11:44 That is a completed look.
11:47 I really hope you guys enjoyed it.
11:48 We ended up using a ColourPop shadow in mooning.
11:52 We ended up using a ColourPop blush in prenup, and two ColourPop lippy products in the shade
11:58 button.
11:59 Super easy, right?
12:00 Always super easy.
12:01 In fact, this one is probably one of the easiest ones that I've done.
12:04 I sat down to film, and you know I always do one eye, and when I was doing it, I had
12:10 used two shadows maybe, and I was really happy with the results, and I kind of wanted to
12:14 keep going to make it a more involved tutorial, and I was like, "No.
12:18 Put the brush down.
12:20 Step away from the vanity.
12:21 You need to stop.
12:22 This looks good."
12:23 I really hope you guys will enjoy this much more simpler look than what I usually do,
12:29 which already is simple, so this is extra simple.
12:33 Don't worry.
12:34 We always have substitutes and alternatives here at Copyright Headquarters, so if you
12:37 do not have the Lorac Unzip Palette, the original with the pinky mauvey shades, you could also
12:42 use your Tarte Tartelette Palette or even your Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette, which my
12:47 friend Samantha was like, "Hey, you could use that palette.
12:49 It's very similar."
12:50 I was like, "Yeah, that's a really good idea."
12:53 You don't have to go out and buy this palette, although it's so, so pretty, and the size
12:56 of the pans, I mean, this palette will last you for like 45 years.
13:00 Anyway, I really hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial.
13:03 Placing my advice, and go check out Serene.
13:06 She is absolutely stunning, so sweet.
13:08 I really like that girl.
13:09 Go check her out.
13:10 I'll leave her tutorial and her channel linked down below, and go show her some love.
13:15 We all love her here at Copyright Headquarters.
13:18 Maybe she'll be a new addition to your list of loves of YouTube beauty vloggers that you
13:23 like to watch.
13:24 I will list her information in the description box below.
13:26 As always, if you guys found this video useful, interesting, or learned something, please
