00:01 In today's tutorial I'm gonna show you how I contour and highlight my face
00:04 using a new and awesome cream product from our Natural Finish.
00:08 So the first thing I'm gonna do is apply a liquid foundation
00:11 to hide the imperfections of my face
00:13 and then I'll start to contour and highlight.
00:16 If you have a dried skin, first you must apply the moisturizer.
00:19 Just remember, if you're going to contour your face with a cream product
00:23 you can't use any powder foundation
00:25 because first you apply a liquid and cream product
00:28 and after you apply the powder.
00:30 So now, without any makeup on my face, I'm gonna apply the primer.
00:33 I'm using the Porefessional by Benefit.
00:35 I love this primer because it minimizes any pores and lines in my face
00:39 and makes my foundation stay on all the time.
00:41 So my favorite foundation is Forever by Dior.
00:44 I'm gonna apply it all over my face with my beauty blender
00:46 but just a little bit because after I'll apply all the contour and highlights
00:50 and of course I want a natural finish and not a lot of product in my face.
00:54 So this is the reason that the beauty blender is my favorite tool in the makeup
00:58 especially when I'm blending the cream products.
01:01 So I applied the foundation all over my face
01:03 and the rest left in my beauty blender I applied also in my neck.
01:06 This will hide the difference of colors between my neck and my face.
01:10 And now to make my eyes more awake
01:18 I'm gonna apply this concealer by Nars in the color Vanilla.
01:20 It is a lot lighter than my skin
01:23 but again blending with the beauty blender you have a natural finish.

01:38 Today I'll be using this Cream Contour Series by Anastasia Beverly Hills.
01:42 I got all the kits because I work with a lot of kinds of skin.
01:45 So here we have the deep, medium and light kits.
01:48 They come this way and I'm gonna show you all of them.
01:51 So this is the kit for light skin.
01:53 Of course this one is the best for me
01:55 but I missed some colder shade.
01:56 This will make my skin look bronzed and not so natural as with the colder shade.
02:01 This one is the medium kit.
02:03 In the simple contour kit by Anastasia Beverly Hills
02:05 I like to use the color Fawn for contour
02:08 because it is more grayish tone.
02:10 So here we have the another kit.
02:17 This is the deep kit for a dark skin
02:19 and I absolutely love how this colors works really well in the dark skin.
02:24 So I hope you like it and let's begin!
02:26 Here you can see the consistency.
02:29 I think that is so heavy.
02:31 So you have to blend really well.
02:33 This is like a cream concealer
02:35 but the good point of that is that it doesn't move in your face
02:38 and with the beauty blender it will look more natural.
02:41 So starting with the lighter shade I'm using Banana
02:45 and a normal foundation brush I'm using the brush by Sigma.
02:48 You can use any brushes that you like
02:50 because we're just starting to apply the contour and highlight.
02:54 So I draw like triangles under my eyes.
02:57 Basically all the place that I highlight will lift and bring forward
03:01 and the place that I contour will decrease and create shadow.
03:05 So I like to highlight especially in the center of my face
03:08 and contour in the sides.
03:09 It will make my face look slimmer and the effect is so beautiful.
03:13 So now I'm gonna draw the lines all over my face
03:16 to show exactly where I contour and highlight.
03:18 Now with the color Warm Coral I'm gonna apply it in my cheeks as blush.
03:43 In my skin tone I don't know, I just love this color as blush.
03:46 So applying it I'm gonna draw another line under my highlight
03:50 and I'm using a eyeshadow brush.
03:53 Now starting the contour I'm gonna apply the color Cinnamon.
04:04 I'll draw another line in my cheeks under my blush line
04:07 also in my forehead, under my mouth and in my nose.
04:11 I love so much this technique because it will create an illusion of lights and shadows in my face.
04:17 It will make a beautiful effect for pictures or videos.
04:20 Personality it can even look a little heavy but it is beautiful.
04:24 But if you don't like a lot of product in your face you can apply just the powder,
04:29 apply your foundation and then contour with the powder.
04:31 I like to use this technique but of course not every time.
04:34 And of course you can try to use another product or a cream product for contour.
04:39 Using the same technique you can even use your favorite foundation,
04:43 one darker and one lighter than your natural skin tone.
04:47 You can use also liquid products or whatever you have at home.
04:50 But this cream contour by Anastasia Beverly Hills is my favorite now.
04:54 As you can see in the end and in the start of this video the result is simply perfect.
05:00 One thing that you have to know is that a good job of contour it's all about blend.

05:29 Now using the shade chocolate I'm gonna just create more depth in my face.
05:33 I'm gonna apply just a little bit of this color on top of the color cinnamon in my cheeks.
05:38 It will create a more cool effect.
05:41 So let's try it.

05:45 So no matter the color of your skin you can also do this technique.
05:48 If you have a darker skin than mine you can put all the colors of highlights and contour darker
05:54 than what I'm using.
05:55 And if you have a lighter skin you have to be careful with the contour shades
05:59 and the blush part is optional.
06:01 So try it I really recommend this technique but be careful with the selection of the colors.
06:07 For more natural effects I back again with my foundation brush in the lighter color.
06:12 And I'm gonna draw another line under my dark lines.

06:17 So this beautiful thing is how I contour and highlight my face.
06:22 Here you can see all the lines where I contour and highlight.
06:25 And now I will blend everything with my beauty blender again.
06:29 And the beauty blender will also remove the excess of the product.
06:32 So it will look much more natural.
06:35 So I start to blend the lighter shades.
06:37 So take your time and blend it really well.

07:45 I did it like that just to show you the difference and how beautiful it looks when you finish.
07:50 So I'm gonna blend the rest and then apply the powder.

09:19 I just forgot to say the rest is left of the contour in my beauty blender I applied also in my neck.

09:29 Now I'm gonna apply just a little bit of translucent powder.
09:33 I'm using one of my favorite by Laura Mercier.
09:36 I will apply it with a blush brush.
09:38 I'm using just a little bit of product as we are using already a heavy product in the contour.
09:45 So it is not forbidden we just need to know how to balances it really well.
09:51 Just for set everything in the place I remove the excess of the powder and I apply slowly where I use it the highlight.
09:58 And you can also use another shade of powder where you apply the contour.
10:03 But today I'm gonna use just this one.

10:18 Now from the contour book also by Anastasia Beverly Hills I'm gonna use the highlighter.
10:22 This highlighter is in the color champagne.
10:24 It's a beautiful shade of highlighter.
10:26 And I'm gonna apply it just to give a little more shine in my skin.
10:31 Because today I am completely matte.
10:33 So I need more life.
10:35 I'm gonna highlight some points in my face and then I will finish the makeup.

11:01 To finish I'm gonna apply one of my favorite liquid lipsticks also from Anastasia Beverly Hills.

11:13 And between all the lipsticks that I tried I like so much of this one by Anastasia Beverly Hills.
11:19 Because it is not so dried like the another and it don't dry so fast.
