00:07 - Hey guys, Amy Pigeon here.
00:34 Thanks for stopping by and welcome back to my channel
00:36 if you've been here before.
00:38 So today I'm doing my last hurrah for summer kind of look
00:42 before we bust out the fall colors,
00:44 which really sucks 'cause I feel like
00:46 the summer's just starting,
00:47 but that's how it always is, right?
00:49 So today I'm going for something a little bit more tropical.
00:52 We've got lots of color going on,
00:53 but I don't think it's too intimidating.
00:55 I kind of like, like what I got.
00:57 'Cause I hit my mirror with my tools.
00:59 Goddamn, I break everything.
01:01 Anyways, I kind of like what I have going on.
01:02 I don't feel like it's too colorful or too much
01:05 in terms of like my usual draggy style
01:08 that can be too much for some people.
01:11 I actually think this is kind of wearable
01:12 if you aren't afraid of color, that is.
01:15 And today's makeup tutorial is sponsored by Tweezerman.
01:18 Tweezerman sent me these awesome tools.
01:21 I got a couple of eyelash curlers,
01:23 some of their brush IQ eye defining brushes,
01:27 and a nice little brow brush right here,
01:29 as well as a mascara guard.
01:31 So Tweezerman sent me those along,
01:32 or through the Kareen.me VIP program.
01:35 So thank you very much for choosing me
01:36 and sending me this stuff.
01:37 I will be using these tools today
01:39 and showing you how to do this look with these tools.
01:42 So yeah, if you like this video, you know the drill.
01:45 Be sure to give it a thumbs up, subscribe to my channel,
01:47 share it with your friends,
01:48 and leave any requests for tutorials you wanna see
01:50 in the comment box below.
01:52 I'm making my brow brush dance.
01:54 I'm an effing weirdo.
01:55 Anyways, without further ado, let's get started.
01:59 So using the Tweezerman brow IQ brush,
02:02 I'm gonna use my Anastasia Beverly Hills
02:04 stiff brow pomade in taupe.
02:06 And I'm basically gonna start in the middle part
02:09 of my brow, filling in the entire area,
02:11 stretching that out to the tail,
02:12 and then I'm gonna go along the bottom
02:14 of the front end of my brow
02:16 with whatever's left over in product.
02:18 Define that in a sweeping motion,
02:20 and then kind of flip it upwards
02:22 to blend it out into the front of my brow.
02:25 Then I'm gonna use that same brow IQ brush from Tweezerman.
02:28 I'm using Anastasia Beverly Hills
02:29 stiff brow pomade in medium.
02:32 I'm gonna kind of draw in little hairs
02:34 in the sparser areas, blah, sparser areas,
02:38 where I'm needing a bit more hairs in my life.
02:43 So I'm just gonna be, again, doing little strokes,
02:46 filling in those hair areas.
02:47 And now I'm gonna set my brows and lighten them a bit
02:50 using the Benefit Gimme Brow Gel in,
02:54 I believe this is light to medium.
02:56 So I just wanna lighten it up
02:57 and also set everything in place nicely.
02:59 Now I'm gonna use the MAC 24-hour Extended Eyewear Primer
03:02 and apply this all the way from my lash,
03:05 wow, can't speak today, as usual,
03:07 all the way from my lash line to my brow bone.
03:09 And then I'm gonna apply in the exact same location,
03:11 the MAC For Longer Paint Pot, holy crap,
03:15 paint pot in Painterly, again, lash line to brow bone.
03:19 And this is gonna help keep your makeup last all day
03:21 and crease free, and also give yourself a blank canvas
03:25 to put all of your shadows on top of.
03:27 So now I'm gonna go and define my brow
03:30 using my MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NW15,
03:34 and then using a flat concealer brush.
03:37 So this is just gonna really help us give us
03:40 super defined, fleek-like brows.
03:44 And I'm basically just tracing along
03:46 the entire underside of my brow,
03:48 and then I'm gonna blend that out downwards towards my lid.
03:52 Now I'm just gonna set that entire area
03:54 where you put the paint pot with my Laura Mercier
03:56 Translucent Setting Powder.
03:59 And then I'm gonna dig into my usual favorite,
04:02 more neutral brow highlighting powder.
04:04 So I like to use Coconut Cream
04:05 from the Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar palette.
04:08 The scent and package design also help
04:11 in making me use that color all the time.
04:13 So now I'm digging into one of my favorite transition shades.
04:16 This is Peaches and Cream by Makeup Geek,
04:19 and I'm just gonna buff that into my crease
04:21 and blend it up towards the brow bone
04:23 using a Morphe blending brush.
04:26 And now to do the cut crease,
04:28 I'm gonna dig into the, what's this brush called here?
04:31 The Line Glider brush from the Tweezer Made by Q-Set,
04:35 and use Truffled from the Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar palette
04:38 by Too Faced, and I'm gonna start to map out
04:40 that cut crease line that we are gonna use
04:44 to divide up basically the beautiful peach color
04:47 on the lid and the crease.
04:48 So don't worry if you do it too haphazardly,
04:50 just map it out, and then you can even use
04:52 that brush itself to kind of start to blend it out a bit.
04:54 It's a really unique brush, I've never seen anything like it
04:57 and I think I like it.
04:58 I'm excited to try it to create
04:59 like a smudgy eyeliner look at some point,
05:01 but it's kind of fun to create a cut crease
05:03 'cause it's defined, but it also can blend.
05:07 So yeah, check this one out.
05:09 Now go in with a blending brush,
05:12 you can use any one you want,
05:13 but today I'm going to use the Tweezer Man blending brush
05:16 from the IQ set, and it's an interesting shape
05:19 for a blending brush.
05:20 I've never really seen anything like this again for a blonde.
