Black Ice is an upcoming documentary that sets out to expose the history of racism in hockey through the untold stories of Black hockey players, both past and present, in a predominantly white sport. Featuring athletes such as Willie O’Ree, the first Black player in the National Hockey League, and former professional hockey player Akim Aliu, with the stories of present stars, including P.K. Subban and Wayne Simmonds.

Black Ice is directed by Hubert Davis and produced by Vinay Virmani and Scott Moore. Executive Producers of Black Ice include the likes of LeBron James, Maverick Carter, Aubrey “Drake” Graham, Adel “Future” Nur.

Black Ice releases only in theaters on July 14.
