00:00 So, getting a lot of questions about the curl it, so I thought I'd do another video to kind
00:08 of show the second half of how you're doing it.
00:11 I mean it's very, very simple.
00:12 It's two steps to get twice as much curl into your hair or if you have a lot of curl to
00:18 really define the curl.
00:19 So what I did today, again I shampooed with the Curl It Shampoo and Conditioner because
00:24 that gives it a lot of hydration this way that you're starting to get the frizz out
00:31 and getting that curl retention in there.
00:34 The Activate Spray, which you spray on first, I'm going to spray it now, but you really
00:37 do spray generously everywhere, does have spring factor.
00:43 It literally feeds your hair.
00:44 So for those of you who have a lot of curl and maybe you're not looking for more curl,
00:50 this is the great starter because it feeds your hair with the hydration, with the vitamins,
00:55 with the minerals, with the nutrients, the things that your hair needs to defrizz, to
01:00 have defined curl and also to boost it.
01:04 So that's kind of easy because you really do want to spray that everywhere.
01:08 Then I've been asked a lot, "How much gel am I using?"
01:11 So the cool thing about the Control Gel, you can hear that, gel is generally quite stiff
01:18 I would say and then it gives that crunchy flakes a lot, it dulls the hair.
01:24 As you can hear, even though this is gel, it's loose.
01:27 So when I go to put it in, I put in that much.
01:33 So I put that much in, rub my hands together, and then I do a section.
01:40 So I'll do this whole section.
01:41 If I still have some, which I usually with my hair length, that's enough for the front
01:46 of my hair.
01:47 I'll put that little bit more back in and I'll put it in the back of my hair.
01:52 And then I do, because my curl, because I don't have as many layers now, because my
01:58 hair is a little more wind-like, I'll turn my head upside down and I will scrunch in
02:04 that curl a little bit just to get a little bit of lift.
02:07 Then I literally let my hair dry by itself.
02:10 You can use a diffuser, but I let it dry completely by itself.
02:14 And then when it's dry, this is the big question.
02:17 Your hair can appear wet and you can feel the gel in it.
02:23 At that point, even though it's been 15, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, whatever, and I know
02:28 my hair is dry, even though it might look, all I do is what you're seeing me do now.
02:32 I just break it up.
02:34 I also, because it's dry and it has the gel on it, I'll put my blow dryer on low and I'll
02:42 just use that to help me.
02:43 I kind of go inside of it.
02:44 But what's amazing about this is because I just like to get a little lift in my hair
02:50 and I like to break it up if I don't want to see that wet look.
02:54 But generally, if you took a blow dryer to your curls, it would be a fuzzy mess.
03:01 But because of the control gel is in there, it just eliminates that frizz, allows you
03:06 to fill it out.
03:07 And then you see my back, so that the curls just dry, they're soft and touchable and there's
03:15 no frizz to it.
03:16 And if you wake up the next day and you're not going to shampoo your hair, you can start
03:20 over with this, getting the fuzz out.
03:22 Like if you see that there's fuzz area, spray the Activate right into the area, re-wet,
03:29 maybe add a tiny bit more gel and just put it right back in place.
03:34 So I hope that helps.
03:35 I know I'm getting a lot of questions like, "Show me how much?"
03:37 And, you know, "If it looks wet at the end, how do I make it look dry like yours?"
03:41 So that's exactly what I do.
03:44 Please ask me questions.
03:45 I will be sure to try and get back to everybody.
03:47 Bye!
