00:00 (upbeat music)
00:02 Hey guys, so today's video is a quick one.
00:24 I'm doing a makeup tutorial on the,
00:27 why am I out of breath?
00:29 On the eye look I'm wearing.
00:31 I didn't record myself doing my foundation
00:33 and my concealer and my powder
00:35 because I feel like I do that in every video
00:37 and it's always the same thing.
00:39 So I skipped that.
00:40 I just did my bronzer, my blush, my highlight, and my lips.
00:43 Just to save a little bit more time,
00:44 I wanted to mainly focus this look around these eyes.
00:48 So that's what I'm doing today.
00:50 I really hope you enjoy this video
00:51 and that you really like this eye makeup.
00:53 I really do.
00:54 I think it's nice and smoky and sexy.
00:57 I like it very much.
00:59 So you wanna see how to get this eye look,
01:01 then just keep watching.
01:02 So as usual, the first thing I'm doing
01:05 is priming my eyelids.
01:06 This is the LA Girls Pro Conceal.
01:07 I really love using this concealer to prime my eyelids
01:10 'cause it stays in place all day
01:12 and it doesn't crease on me.
01:13 So that's what I'm using.
01:15 This is the Sonia Kashuk Eye & Neutral Palette.
01:17 I know I'm beating this palette to death
01:19 and I've used it in all of my recent tutorials,
01:21 but it's really good.
01:22 I'm taking this cream color shade.
01:24 It's really close to my skin tone
01:25 and I'm using this to put all over my eye,
01:28 up to my brow bone to set that concealer.
01:30 Then I'm gonna take this really warm reddish kind of brown.
01:33 There's a lot of red to this.
01:35 Oh, what?
01:36 I don't know what I'm doing.
01:36 Okay.
01:37 And I am using this as my transition shade.
01:39 This shade is really important
01:41 for the other shadows we are putting down.
01:43 And it does take a little bit of building.
01:46 I have to work with this eyeshadow a little bit
01:48 because it's not as creamy as the rest of them.
01:50 But once you do, you get a nice reddish brown color.
01:54 Now I'm gonna take this eyeshadow from ColourPop.
01:56 It's called Middens.
01:58 It's a really, really reddish, deep kind of brown.
02:02 I'm singing throughout this whole video.
02:04 I was feeling my playlist.
02:06 Anyway, I'm applying this to my entire lid.
02:08 I love this color.
02:09 It's so gorgeous.
02:11 So I'm applying this all the way up to my crease,
02:13 not really passing my crease so much,
02:15 just applying it as an all over lid shade.
02:18 I'm gonna go back into that brown,
02:22 that reddish brown from the palette,
02:24 and I'm gonna start to blend this color.
02:26 This part takes a long time.
02:28 It's like a process 'cause I'm trying to mix
02:31 these two colors really well and blend them together nicely.
02:34 So just go back and forth.
02:35 It just takes a while, but you get there eventually.
02:38 I'm taking Grandstand
02:40 from the new Makeup Geek Foiled Eyeshadows.
02:42 It's amazing, as you can see by my reaction.
02:45 And on a flat shader brush,
02:46 I'm gonna apply this mainly to the center of my lid,
02:50 like right dab in the middle
02:51 so that a lot of light can reflect to that part of the eye.
02:55 And I'm gonna start applying it,
02:56 and then I'm gonna start blending it
02:57 into the Mittens color a little bit,
03:00 just working my brush around
03:01 so that it's not just a stark line of that color.
03:04 Does that make sense?
03:05 You see me, you see me, you see me.
03:07 Working it mainly in the center of the lid.
03:09 Going back into Mittens,
03:10 I'm just gonna deepen out the outer part of my eyelid
03:14 and my crease a little bit.
03:16 And then freaking out
03:18 because I think the UPS man was there for me.
03:20 Anyway, and then I'm gonna deepen out
03:22 the inner corner as well.
03:23 I kinda wanna keep the main focus
03:26 of the Grandstand eyeshadow right in the center,
03:29 as you can tell, 'cause I've said it a million times.
03:32 Going right back into that reddish brown,
03:35 and I'm just gonna further blend everything out some more.
03:37 Take your time with this
03:38 and try to blend everything together.
03:41 I'm gonna take this cream color again,
03:43 and I'm gonna apply this underneath my brow bone,
03:45 and I'm also gonna apply this
03:47 to the inner part of my eye as well.
03:51 And then to further highlight,
03:53 'cause that doesn't give me enough highlight,
03:55 I'm gonna go into the white eyeshadow
03:57 with this tiny little crease brush from Makeup Geek,
04:00 and I'm gonna apply this
04:01 to the high points of my eyebrows to highlight
04:03 and right in my inner tear duct as well
04:06 to highlight some more.
04:07 I'm taking another Makeup Geek foiled eyeshadow.
04:11 This is in the shade Showtime,
04:14 and I'm gonna run this right underneath my lower lash line.
04:19 It's a beautiful burgundy color
04:20 with a lot of sheen to it,
04:22 but it's just so, so pretty, I love it.
04:25 This is a tiny crease brush from Makeup Geek,
04:28 but I use it as a pencil brush 'cause it's tiny.
04:30 This is MAC's Costa Riche Eye Kohl,
04:33 and I am applying this to my waterline
04:35 and my tightline as well.
04:36 It's a very, very red brown.
04:38 Like, it's very warm, very red.
04:41 It's a brown, but it's a lot of red to it.
04:43 I'm gonna go back into this Grandstand eyeshadow
04:46 and apply it right in the center of my lower lash line there,
04:49 as you can see, just to add a little bit more shine.
04:52 I'm gonna prime my eyelashes.
04:54 This is the Lancome Silks Booster Eyelash Primer.
04:59 It's really good.
04:59 And then I'm gonna apply the Tarte Gifted Mascara
05:02 right on top.
05:03 And then I'm just gonna go ahead and finish my face.
05:07 I told you guys I already had my foundation and concealer on
05:10 so I'm gonna move on to bronzer.
05:12 I'm gonna contour using the Benefit Hoola Bronzer
05:15 and my Zoeva 109 brush.
05:17 And I'm just gonna use this to carve out my cheekbones,
05:20 et cetera, et cetera, you know, the gist,
05:23 contouring and such.
05:24 I'm also gonna run that brush on my temples, on my forehead,
05:30 all the places where you guys know
05:31 I would just naturally contour.
05:34 (gentle music)
05:37 Oh, oh my God, okay, back to bronzy, okay.
05:50 I'm gonna take another Benefit Flux Powder.
05:54 This is in the shade Dallas.
05:56 It's kind of bronzy, but it's plummy, it's mauve-y.
05:59 It's like a blush and a bronzer all in one.
06:01 So I'm taking this giant brush from Zoeva.
06:03 This is the 109 brush.
06:04 And then I thought my blush smelled good for a second.
06:07 And then I'm gonna apply this to my cheeks
06:09 just to kind of give a little bit more warmth to the look.
06:11 I didn't want to do like a full-on blush
06:13 'cause my eyes were so like deep.
06:15 So I'm just kind of putting this everywhere
06:17 'cause it has like that beautiful mauveness
06:19 and bronziness at the same time.
06:21 And then to highlight, I'm using the ELF Baked Highlighter.
06:24 Actually, this is the ELF Baked Blush in Pinktastic,
06:28 but it's very much a highlighter.
06:30 So I'm using that to highlight my cheekbones
06:32 and on the bridge of my nose and such.
06:34 And then to finish off my lips,
06:38 this is the Too Faced Natural, no,
06:41 the Too Faced Perfect Lips Lip Liner in the shade Perfect Nude.
06:46 In my Makeup Geek review of the foiled eyeshadows,
06:49 my lips looked a little bit glossy.
06:51 That's 'cause I had applied
06:52 Buxom White Russian Lip Gloss right on top
06:54 after I had filmed this video.
06:56 So that is the lip combo I'm wearing in that video.
06:59 But yeah, that is the finished look.
07:01 Thank you guys so much for watching.
07:03 Please subscribe if you haven't already,
07:04 and I will see you in my next video.
07:06 Bye.
