00:41 quick, very easy half up hairstyle that has kind of an accent heart that's perfect for

01:12 Hailey and Emily. So, first of all you guys, I'm going to be using the launch heat shield
01:22 and so I'll just go through and kind of spritz that through the hair. It smells good. It
01:30 smells really good actually. And I do like this heat shield because it doesn't give your
01:36 hair that crunchy feeling that you can get with other heat shields that you use. So,
01:43 always want to protect your hair. Oh, thank you Karen so much. And for those of you that
01:50 come in, also, if you guys are not here during the actual live, you definitely feel free
01:57 to fast forward through to the end product or wherever it is that you're wanting to get
02:03 to because with lives, they tend to go a little bit longer just because I can actually interact
02:09 with people. I can talk to them, answer questions, do that kind of stuff. And so if that's annoying
02:15 to you, then fast forward. So, anyway, I'm going to go ahead and split the hair really
02:23 quick so that we can get to curling. Also, you guys, so the link that I have up above

03:11 my hair is clean. I just air dried it last night. I got out of the shower. I always let
03:15 my hair air dry. Usually, like, we'll go in and blow dry like my bang area and kind of
03:22 the roots. And then I allowed the rest of it to just air dry. So my hair is very soft
03:29 naturally. So putting a dry shampoo in there adds that texture and gives my hair grip.

03:45 to go ahead and go. I'm going to take my wand back here. And I'm just going to wrap the
03:52 hair around back towards the back of my head. Karen, so the dry shampoo was Lounge as well.

05:16 I am doing like a half up type hairstyle, I just want it to be really like just pretty

05:40 Dry shampoo, root booster, heat show. Oh fun, Patricia. Yes, that marula oil is awesome.
05:48 It adds so much shine and really helps like especially if you're somebody that struggles
05:53 with like static in your hair, you're really going to like the marula oil. But one thing
05:59 is it will like weigh your hair down if you use too much. And so I always recommend to
06:06 like spray just on your hand, rub your hands together and then kind of go through and like
06:09 scrunch down at the bottom. You can also spray if you have thicker hair or whatever. But
06:17 for me, if I actually just like full on spray onto my hair, it weighs it down and it gets
06:22 so oily. So, thank you Julia. Yeah, Darlene, I'm trying to do videos. I forget to breathe
06:32 all the time. Whenever I get on here, it's like that's why you'll see me stop and I'll
06:36 be like, it's like I'm running a marathon pretty much because I get like so excited
06:43 to get on here and do these lives and then I completely forget to breathe. So again,
06:49 just wrapping the hair around the wand. Yay, Jamie. Oh, and that's another thing you guys

07:45 helps your chances. So, um, yes, Katie, this is the 32 millimeter. So again, I'm curling
07:57 away from the face and I'm going all in the same direction for this one as well. You guys
08:02 know that whenever I do like my beachy waves, I will kind of switch the direction up and
08:08 then I switch like the sizes of chunks of hair that I grab. I'll do like smaller sizes
08:15 or bigger sizes and I just kind of like rotate the wand in different directions in order
08:21 to get that really like PC beach wave look for this because I am going for more of like
08:27 a really pretty and romantic, I guess, type of curl. I'm going to keep the curls all going
08:35 the same direction so that they stay together and it just looks really pretty. Kind of gives
08:45 you that mermaid hair. So again, around here. How has everybody been? Do you guys have any
08:54 plans for that certain little holiday coming up next month? My baby is due February 16th
09:01 and so I'm like, my sister-in-law, her birthday is actually February 14th. So I'm like, Lex,
09:08 this baby could come on your birthday. You never know. So, although I do get contractions
09:14 a lot, so I'm hoping, I'm kind of hoping and praying that he comes early because my son
09:20 was huge. My daughter came at 37 weeks. My water broke with her at like 1 30 in the morning
09:31 and she was born a few hours later and she was my first and then it was like my son,
09:38 I kept going into labor with him really early, like preterm labor and so like they had to
09:44 stop labor once and then it was just kind of, I kept contracting but I wasn't really
09:49 like progressing with that pregnancy and he ended up coming on his due date but he was
09:54 huge. He was like 8 11 and he was, gosh, 20, like almost 22 inches long. Like everybody,
10:03 all the nurses already came in because they were like, oh I want to see the size of this
10:06 baby because my husband and I are both very tall and so they were just like, he's going
10:10 to be huge. This kid is going to be huge and he was. Sure enough, he was huge. So I'm like,
10:16 I'm okay with this one coming a little early just so he doesn't get that big. So, anyway,
10:23 wrap this around. Yes, some of their products are great. Like I said, I used the heat shield
10:31 in my hair and then I also used the dry shampoo just to give my hair some grip because my
10:38 hair naturally is just, it's very soft. I have very, very soft hair and so like I'm
10:44 one of those type of people, it's funny because people with coarse hair, they're always like,
10:48 oh I wish I had softer hair, you know, and that my fingers, whenever I ran my hair through
10:52 my fingers, it was just like super soft. Where me, I'm like adding texture in just to add
10:58 that so I can have that texture and that coarseness to my hair so that it curls nicer. So, I guess
11:05 everybody just wants what they can't have. So I'm also going to go in with the, well
11:10 I'm just, this is the Trois Chic, the three-way hairspray. So, hi honey. Hi little buddy.
11:21 Okay, that's fine. My daughter just got home from work. I mean school, not work. She's
11:29 five. Yeah, I put her to work you guys. She's, you go to work, huh? How was PE? Good. Good.
11:38 Okay, so I'm going to go ahead and section off another section here. So, I'm excited

13:53 from Walmart and I got it when I very first got married like ten years ago. And it's just
14:00 a Conair that I got from Walmart and I think it's like a one and a half inch, oops, one
14:05 and a half inch curling iron and I just love it for like creating that really big volume
14:13 in my hair and it's one of my like most loved products ever. Yes. Besides these wands, these
14:24 wands are up there. I use these quite a bit actually. The past year I've used a curling
14:29 wand way more than I've used any curling iron in my box. So, let's see, slowly collecting
14:42 enough linge to give to my bridal party. Oh, that's awesome, Tara. Well, this is like a

15:50 like beach waves, the messy beach waves, but today I'm going for a different look. Like
15:55 I really kind of want that mermaid, very romantic, pretty curls that kind of congregate together
16:03 before I go in with my little half up hairstyle that's perfect for that certain holiday coming

16:19 That's like the weirdest thing to me about being pregnant is like when you're sitting
16:22 there and you can just like feel something moving inside of your belly. You're just like,
16:27 oh my gosh, there's like an alien in me that's going to claw out. Bonnie, that's sweet of
16:38 you. Thank you for congratulating Heather. Amanda, no, I did not straighten my hair first.
16:44 My hair is naturally, it doesn't have a lot of like curl or texture. I was explaining
16:50 that earlier that my hair is just naturally very soft. Super duper soft. No, I'm talking
16:57 to these people that are asking me questions. Um, I just have like, like my daughter has
17:03 very curly hair and so does my husband and I have just always had, because they're not
17:12 talking, they're typing. So anyway, my hair is just very soft. So what I went in with
17:19 is I let my hair air dry last night after showering. Um, I did put the sea salt spray
17:25 in just a little bit and let that air dry. And I usually will just blow dry the root
17:31 area and then let the rest of my hair air dry. And then I went in with the heat shield
17:36 and you want to let that completely kind of like dissolve into your hair and then it doesn't
17:40 leave that crunchiness on your hair. And then I go in with the dry shampoo. This is going
17:46 to add that texture and the grip that I need for my curls. Because honestly, you guys,
17:51 like my hair is super soft and so usually I would have to wait until it was very dirty
17:58 to go in with like a curling wand because the curl would just not last. And so for me,
18:03 like I use that texture spray last night on my hair and then I go in with the dry shampoo
18:09 today in order to create that grip. Hopefully it helps hold the bigger curls. Yeah, Paige,
18:23 that should help. Do you have super thick hair? Um, oh, we only need 30 more shares

18:35 my mirror that I need to use whenever I do my hairstyle. Yes, the dry shampoo is awesome

19:24 Yeah. Mary, you would love the sea salt spray, especially like if you're somebody that already
19:29 has texture to your hair or a little bit. Yeah, very soft. If you are somebody that
19:35 has texture to your hair already or curl, you're really going to like the sea salt spray
19:40 because you can actually go in and you don't want to like overdo it because sea salt can
19:47 dry your hair out a little bit. So you definitely want to, you know, use it sparingly, but you
19:52 can go in with it and like kind of scrunch your hair or do whatever. And you're going
19:55 to have like really pretty waves and it's just going to give you like that beachiness
20:00 that is so in right now for me because my hair is soft. My hair doesn't do the beachy,
20:07 you know, a little bit of a waviness. It just kind of like dries how it is, how you see
20:12 it. You know, it's pretty straight, but it does help whenever I go in with like my curling
20:18 wand the next day, whenever my hair is very clean to give it that texture that I need
20:22 in order to keep those curls in there. So, alright, let me see. Grab some more here.

21:11 eyeliner red lip? Or would you want more of like a natural pink kind of monotone type

21:46 the curls to stay intact. So Anna, if you have soft hair like I do, use a dry shampoo
21:52 and then I'd recommend using a sea salt spray on your hair while it's damp. So if it's damp,
21:59 go in with your sea salt spray, spritz it everywhere throughout the hair, let it air
22:06 dry and then before you go in and curl it, put your heat shield on and then use a dry
22:10 shampoo and spray the dry shampoo everywhere. Not just in the roots, but everywhere. All
22:16 over the hair, just as if you were using like a hairspray. But you're going to do a dry
22:20 shampoo. And so it just gives that texture and gives that grip. Um, whether you let the
22:32 curl set in the palm or let it go immediately. Okay. Very pretty River. All right, so Karen
22:45 wants a red lip look. Who else wants that? The pink, brown and white. Well, it looks
22:54 beautiful. All right. So again, just wrapping around back towards the back of my head. Now,
23:04 whenever you curl all of the hair, um, let's see. Oh yes, you guys. So the LaRev is part
23:12 of the sale and the LaRev. Oh my gosh. I can't even say enough about that straightener. What
23:20 brown stuff? I don't know what you're talking about. I don't know. Um, all right. So it
23:35 looks like there's a lot of people that like the red lips, but yes, so the LaRev is their
23:41 straightening iron. I have done a tutorial on my page showing two different ways to create
23:47 curls with a straightener. The kind of the old way and then also my way of doing it because
23:56 I have like a hard time doing the, where you clamp it and like twirl and pull and stuff.
24:04 So again, I did my hairspray again and this is the launch as well. And this is just the

25:07 keeps your hair soft. Um, and it's the same thing with the, uh, the heat shield. Yeah,
25:15 it's just a dry shampoo. You don't really need any, but you can try it. Um, so the heat
25:23 shield is not going to leave your hair crunchy either if you allow it to dry on your hair
25:28 and kind of like get in there and dissolve. Don't go in there River. It's not makeup for
25:35 you to play with. So again, I'm going to go back around this way. Yeah, but I don't want
25:43 you playing in there. So I need you to keep it out. Use the Lynch 25 wand to spice up
25:48 my ponytail. Yay, Amanda. I bet it looks great. That's the thing is I love these curls that
25:55 you get from a wand. I think they look so beautiful in a ponytail cause they have that
26:02 like that cool, like I don't like this, like that zigzag curl. I think they look so cool.

27:28 wants what mom has. Yep, because it wouldn't be as pretty as this. Yes, so Casey, that's
27:35 the thing. These wands, they do get super hot, so you do want to be careful, but if
27:41 you use, they have like a little glove that comes with them. I'm just lazy and I don't
27:46 use the glove, but I definitely recommend it and I definitely recommend if you're not
27:51 used to a curling wand, go in whenever you get the curling wand, do not turn it on, and
27:59 go in and practice wrapping the hair around the wand without it on or anything. Just going
28:06 through and like holding the hair until your hands and everything kind of get used to like
28:11 that rhythm of like wrapping instead of like using a clamp or whatever with a curling iron
28:18 and then it's like it kind of is like a muscle memory type thing and so you end up being
28:26 just fine after that. Can I make it a part? Sure. Will you go get your dad too? Yay, Ashley!
28:40 So yeah, the 32 is awesome, especially if you like kind of like a little bit more of
28:44 a loose wave versus a tighter ringlet type curl. So again, I'm going to take my bangs
28:54 and kind of wrap them around here a little bit and then we'll go in and do that cute
29:01 little half up hairstyle. So, thank you, Sani. My hair colorist lady is very good at what
29:14 she does, so I've been very fortunate to have her because she definitely makes this
29:23 perfectly look good. Okay, so again I'm going to go in with a three-way hairspray again
29:32 and I want to just kind of let the curl set for a second. So you usually like if you want
29:43 your hair, if your hair has a hard time holding curl, you want to go in and you want to use
29:48 your wand and do not touch those curls until they're completely cooled down. If you go
29:53 in and you start running your fingers through your hair whenever your hair is still really
29:58 warm, then the curl is just going to like fall and it's going to relax. So you don't
30:03 want that to happen. Parksy, come here, bud. Okay, so this is starting to cool for me.
30:12 Anna, no. That's what I like about this hairspray a lot is it's not sticky. So I haven't had
30:19 a problem with it and I just kind of go in and shake these out and then it gives me like
30:23 this really pretty, you can see like it's just very pretty curls. Very romantic. I like
30:31 to call them romantic. So again, go through and I like to just run my fingers gently through
30:42 the hair. Usually whenever I do my beach waves, I go through and I like shake in here. Today
30:49 is a little bit different. We kind of want those curls to stay intact a little bit, but
30:56 let me show you. So this is the back of it. Yeah, that fits good. Is dad here, River?
31:05 Okay, can you have him get Parksy? Oh, he is? Okay, good. All right, so let me just
31:17 do something with these little guys right here. Try to kind of get them doing something.
31:24 I'm obsessed. I'm happy I stocked up because that way I'll never run out. Awesome, Brittany.
31:28 Yeah, that's the thing is like you really only need a little bit. Now what I'm going
31:32 to use for the hair is I have two of these little clear rubber bands I stole from River
31:38 Rue, my daughter. So what you're going to do is I'm actually going to go in with like
31:45 a teasing brush first. I'm just going to create volume right here at the crown just to give
31:50 a little bit of a lift. So go through here, separate this section off. Oh, shoot, Alicia.
32:08 I'm sorry. We need to get you a dang wand, don't we? Which size of wand would you recommend
32:16 for a beginner? Larissa, it depends on what kind, like what you're looking for. If you
32:22 want thicker, beachier type waves or like these kind of waves that I've got in my hair
32:29 right now and your hair is longer like mine, then you're going to want the 32. Now if you
32:36 like a curlier curl that's going to last for, I mean like days, like I'm saying like days
32:44 and days and days. Like I can literally wear the same curls in my hair for a complete week.
32:50 I use the 25mm. They are a little bit tighter of a curl the first day or two, but as they
32:57 relax they relax really pretty. Now the 32mm, these curls will still stay in my hair, but
33:05 it goes more to like a wave. After probably about like three days or so, it just kind
33:10 of is more of like a little bit of a wave. There's a hint of a curl there, but it's definitely
33:15 not tight like that 25mm one is. So it just depends on what you're looking for. And then
33:21 also it depends, like if you have super damaged hair, use the ceramic. If you have hair like
33:29 how mine is, where it's just kind of normal hair or coarse hair, you're going to want
33:34 to use the titanium. So just kind of creating a little bit of lift up at the roots. And
33:42 then I'll take one of these little guys and let me grab a section of hair here on this
33:52 side. Let me make sure, yep. And then I'm going to take the exact same section on the
34:00 other side over here. I usually use a 25mm so I save time and don't expose my hair as
34:09 often. There you go Heather, that's awesome. Okay, so we're going to take these and we're
34:15 basically just going to bring them right back here. Let me make sure I'm in the viewfinder.
34:21 Right back here. And then you're going to wrap your ponytail holder around them. So
34:26 let me get that going right here. Let me wrap this around there really quick. Alright, it

36:15 here and you're basically going to wrap it around and you're going to go back through

38:58 like it's such a cute little hairstyle for if you're going to do it on your daughter,
39:02 for school, or if you want to do it for you as well. It's like an appropriate hairstyle
39:07 for an adult as well because it's just like a loose half up hairstyle that's really pretty.
