00:11 So curls on long hair with the Perfector, which is something I'm getting a lot of questions about,
00:18 or waves. So I'm using the newer one inch size, which is a little longer, but you could do it
00:25 with every one you have. You always start at the top. You see how I've wrapped the hair around?
00:30 And you'll, as long as you come down once you get started and you hold each time, that's how it'll
00:38 never get caught. If this is held vertically like this, I don't twerk it out this way, and I pull
00:43 down, it just can't get caught. If you have long hair and you want to grab here, I notice a lot of
00:48 people will grab here and just continue to twist and curl and twist and curl. So you can't go super
00:56 fast or you won't get it curled. Remember, I mean, the heat needs time to work. So I already did some
01:02 on that side. I'm just going to keep going through so you can kind of get the hang of what it is. So
01:07 you just start at the top. Again, as long as you keep this, the more straight you keep this,
01:14 it just won't get caught in the hair. If you're coming down and it's straight, all you do is twist
01:20 and hold. So it's like a twist and a hold. And then that's how you get, and all depending on
01:26 how tight you get it, like I want it to kind of be beachy like this. So I'm doing it that way.
01:31 I also, Britt, would you say your hair's easy to curl or hard to curl or hard to hold or?
01:38 It doesn't hold well.
01:40 Right. So you could tell her hair doesn't hold curl that well. So I did go for the smaller size
01:46 for that reason. And I do need to sit here for a few seconds so that the heat really does a job.
01:50 If I breezed through this, her curl would not hold. And I like on my hair, because it's curly,
01:59 I don't hold it as long because I'll get way too much curl. So again, make sure that it's
02:05 vertical, go up to the top. This is not how you use the perfector because you keep wrapping up
02:10 like that, you might have a hard time getting it out. And also when you start to torque in
02:17 this direction, the hair can get twisted in there. And that's why it's really important
02:21 to keep it straight down the whole time. So once I put these waves in, we're going to do
02:32 a Valentine braid. So twist again down. See, and that's how you get the curl. Once you get it,
02:40 like if you're like Britt and you have your hair's hard to hold, before you put your fingers through
02:46 it, you want to set it. This is a new product, we're going to be launching Duet. So it's like a
02:52 prep and a post spray. So I'm going to hold that there. I'm not even going to put my fingers
02:56 through that yet. And now we're going to put our Valentine braid in. So I actually pre-sectioned,
03:03 I already did the other side, and I'm going to come around here and start my braid. And hopefully,
03:10 because I'm not doing it in the mirror, I'll actually make it even. So I'm going to start
03:17 with my first little section. I'm going to take my three sections here, and I'm going to go
03:23 underneath with the hair. And the braid's going to sit on top. And then each time I go to the
03:31 top section, I'm going to grab the hair, only with the top section. So we're going to braid
03:36 by grabbing a little hair when I'm doing this one only. So this one's just going to go in.
03:44 And now when I go to this top one, I'm going to grab hair. And while I'm doing this,
03:52 I'm just trying to follow my part that I made into a heart shape. So I'm grabbing,
04:01 trying to grab right on that part.
04:06 And so I'm just picking up each time. And Britt told me she's going to wear this to the salon
04:15 today. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. We're here nice and bright and early today on Valentine's Day.
04:22 Um, I'm so happy to be with Mary and we're going to do a hit for embellish,
04:28 which I'm going to use a little embellish on Britt's hair before we're done. Um,
04:32 and then Britt and I are going to go off to work at the salon with our Valentine hair.

04:43 That's the way it works. So I'm going to spin this around so they can kind of see what I'm
04:51 doing. I can see what I'm doing too. I'm just following my heart, my heart part. I have a heart
