00:00 Hey guys!
00:09 So today's video is a makeup tutorial on this look.
00:12 I think it's perfect for New Year's Eve with the gold glitter and the fun blue eyes.
00:18 I'm still really sick and actually this video was a hot mess to film.
00:21 I almost didn't post it because you couldn't really tell because I edited a lot of it out,
00:28 but my nose was constantly running so my foundation kept coming off my nose and my eyes were so
00:33 red because I'm sick and it was just a hot mess.
00:36 But I decided to post it anyway because I really like the finished look and I hope you
00:40 do too.
00:43 I was supposed to have this look up like a week ago, but I got sick Christmas night
00:48 and I couldn't get it up for you guys so I'm sorry this video is going up so late.
00:52 New Year's Eve is in like a day.
00:54 So I apologize, but I thought better late than never.
00:57 I hope!
00:59 You can actually pair this look off with a bold lip.
01:02 I just went for a nudie peach lip because you know me.
01:06 But this would actually look really pretty with really deep red lips.
01:09 So let's get started.
01:10 The first thing I'm going to do is prime my eyes using Jessi's Girl eyeshadow primer.
01:15 And I'm applying that to my entire eye area.
01:18 Then I'm going to go in with Makeup Geek's White Lies and I'm going to apply this underneath
01:22 my brow bone just to add a base as a highlight.
01:29 Then I'm going to take a fluffy blending brush and I'm going to take Creme Brulee also by
01:33 Makeup Geek.
01:34 I'm using all Makeup Geek eyeshadows in this video.
01:37 This is a really really soft warm eyeshadow.
01:41 This is perfect for the crease.
01:42 I'm using this as a transition shade so that all the eyeshadows can blend a lot easier.
01:52 Then I'm going to take Frappe.
01:53 It's just like Creme Brulee, only a couple shades darker.
01:56 Not that much darker, but I'm adding this to my crease again just to add a little bit
02:01 of dimension between those two eyeshadows.
02:06 Then I'm going to take this LA Girl Pro Primer in the shade Black and I'm going to start
02:11 applying this to my eye and then I'm going to realize that I forgot to add tape to my
02:17 eye, of course.
02:18 So I'm just adding a little piece of scotch tape to the corners of my eyes to kind of
02:22 add like a cat eye effect because once you take that tape off, everything looks nice
02:26 and sharp.
02:27 So I applied the tape and then I'm just taking this black eyeshadow base and I'm applying
02:31 it to my entire eye.
02:33 Then I'm going to take a fluffy brush and I'm going to start blending out the corners
02:37 of this black base just so that it isn't a harsh line.
02:41 I'm just going to take my time and start blending the outer edges of this.
02:53 Then I'm going to apply some more because a lot of it did get blended away, of course,
02:57 and then I'm just going to blend it out some more.
03:01 Once I pretty much got a nice black base down, I'm going to take this Makeup Geek Foiled
03:05 Eyeshadow in the shade Center Stage and I'm going to apply this to my entire lid.
03:11 The black makes it look a little bit more navy than royal, so that's why I added the
03:15 black.
03:16 But this eyeshadow is so intense, it doesn't really need a base at all, but it is amazing!
03:22 Perfect for New Year's Eve, it's nice, fun, and blue.
03:25 I love it.
03:26 Then I'm going to take Frappe again and on a fluffy Morphe brush, I'm just going to start
03:30 blending out that blue color.
03:32 I don't want any harsh lines, I want the eyeshadows to blend nicely.
03:37 So I'm just taking that Frappe color and I'm really, really buffing it out into the crease.
03:41 Then I'm going to take Coco Bear by Makeup Geek and on that same brush, I'm going to
03:46 add some Coco Bear into the crease and this is just going to warm up the look a little
03:52 bit more.
03:54 Then I'm going to apply some more Center Stage because I did a lot of buffing and a
04:02 lot of blending, so of course a lot of the blue did get blended away, so I'm just applying
04:07 some more.
04:09 I'm going to take Shimma Shimma from Makeup Geek and I'm going to use this as my brow
04:16 bone highlight.
04:17 It's very intense, which is my favorite, so I'm adding that.
04:20 Then I'm going to take this NYX liner, it's a really intense gold liner.
04:26 It's their Glam Aqua Luxe Waterproof Glitter Liner.
04:31 This is in the shade 24K.
04:34 So I'm just adding a wing, just like I would do with a black liquid liner and the tape
04:38 really helps as a guide to get that perfect, kind of like sharp liner look.
04:44 Then I'm going to take off the tape and then I'm going to take some more of that Creme
04:50 Brulee, that's that first shade we put in the crease, and then I'm just going to further
04:54 blend everything and make sure there are no harsh lines.
04:58 I'm going to apply some mascara because I will be going in with falsies because it is
05:01 New Year's Eve after all, and the falsies I'm using are from House of Lashes in the
05:07 style Pixi Luxe.
05:09 So I applied those off camera, my eyes were really red and runny because I'm sick so it
05:14 took forever to apply these lashes.
05:16 I don't know if you can tell on my skin, my skin is red and you can just tell I'm sick.
05:21 So I'm applying my Too Faced Hangover RX primer.
05:25 This is a really nice moisturizing primer.
05:27 Do you see the cut on my lip?
05:28 I busted my lip five minutes before I started filming this video.
05:32 I swear, it was not my date of film.
05:34 But I busted my lip on Porter's cage.
05:37 I bent over and I hit my lip on his cage.
05:39 I am a hot mess.
05:40 I don't even know how that happened.
05:43 I was bleeding like a mad woman.
05:45 Anyway, so the foundation I'm using is the Makeup Forever HD foundation.
05:50 I love this foundation for special occasions like New Year's Eve because it stays on all
05:55 day and it looks great in pictures and you know, people be taking pictures on New Year's
05:59 Eve so this is the perfect foundation for that.
06:03 I am in the shade 140.
06:06 So after that I'm taking my MAC Pro Longwear concealer.
06:10 This is another great concealer for special events or when you want to wear your makeup
06:14 all night because it does not budge and it's full coverage.
06:18 So I'm applying that with an ELF Flawless Concealer Brush right underneath my eyes and
06:23 I'm bringing it down a little bit to highlight my face as well.
06:26 I'm also going to take some of that concealer on the bridge of my nose, in between my eyebrows
06:33 and on my chin area just to highlight those areas of my face as well.
06:40 And then I'm going to set everything with my MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Natural.
06:44 This is an ELF Blush Brush and I am just setting my under eye area with that.
06:54 I'm also going to set the rest of my face with this, well, wherever I put the concealer.
07:00 Then I'm just going to finish off my eyes.
07:02 To highlight in my inner corners I'm using Shima Shima from Makeup Geek and then I'm
07:06 going to take the Makeup Geek Foiled Eyeshadow in the shade Magic Act and it's just going
07:16 to add a gold inner corner highlight.
07:19 Then I'm going to take my Tarte Gifted Mascara and I'm going to apply mascara to my bottom
07:23 lashes and that's all I am doing on my lower lash line.
07:27 Not adding any eyeshadow which is rare for me but I thought it looked really pretty to
07:30 just leave my under eyes bare.
07:34 To contour I am using my Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow.
07:40 You obviously can use any bronzer you have or any contour powder.
07:44 I'm using a Makeup Forever Contouring type of brush to apply that.
07:49 Then I'm going to take my MAC Mineralize Blush in the shade Warm Soul.
07:54 This is a beautiful, natural, peachy, warm shade.
07:58 It goes with pretty much every makeup look ever.
08:01 It's a perfect everyday blush.
08:04 So I'm applying that.
08:05 It's a nice, glowy kind of blush.
08:07 And then I'm going to take the highlight in the Filmstar Bronze and Glow and apply this
08:11 to my cheekbones because it is literally the most beautiful highlight I have ever seen
08:15 in my entire life.
08:18 I really don't think anything compares to it.
08:20 It has a beautiful golden sheen.
08:22 It's amazing.
08:23 I love it.
08:25 I'm applying that to the bridge of my nose as well.
08:28 And then to finish off the look I am adding a lip liner to my lips.
08:32 This is the MAC Pro Longwear Lip Liner in the shade Etc.
08:36 And I'm lightening my lips and then I'm filling my lips in as well.
08:39 This lasts forever so this is the perfect kind of lip product for New Year's Eve because
08:44 it will not budge.
08:45 It will last all night.
08:46 Then I'm going to take this CoverGirl Lipstick in the shade...what is this called?
08:50 What is this called?
08:52 Tempting Toffee.
08:53 And I'm applying this on top of that lip liner.
08:56 This is pretty much the same color, just with a little bit more of a sheen.
09:01 Okay guys, so that completes this makeup look.
09:03 I really hope you enjoyed it.
09:04 Thank you so much for watching.
