00:00 I'm going to show you how to achieve a makeup look that will have you feeling like a pro
00:25 makeup artist.
00:26 This look is super easy and will be great for beginners because the steps I chose are
00:30 super simple and effortless to recreate.
00:33 Hope you enjoy.
00:38 Starting with a clean face, I'm going to be using Urban Decay Deslick Oil Control Spray.
00:44 I apply this before and after and this is going to control my oily skin.
00:49 If you have dry skin, you're going to want to use something more moisturizing.
00:53 As you can see, my skin is not in the best of condition.
00:57 It's super uneven and blotchy.
00:59 I am going to be using a Smashbox foundation.
01:03 This is the 15 Hour Wear Studio Skin in 1.1.
01:07 I'm going to put two pumps on the back of my hand and then I'm going to dot this all
01:11 over my face, leaving a little bit on the back of my hand for my forehead, which I'm
01:15 going to do after I do this section of my face.
01:18 I'm just going to use my fingertips.
01:20 I'm going to use blending motion and a patting motion to melt this product into my skin.
01:27 It's very rare that you will find me using a foundation brush to apply my foundation.
01:31 I just favor my fingers better than a brush.
01:37 Once I'm done doing the lower part of my face, I'm going to take the rest of the product
01:40 that is on the back of my hand and I'm going to apply this to my forehead.
01:56 The foundation did a great job at evening my skin tone out.
01:59 I feel like I have nothing on my face, which is great.
02:04 Next I'm going to take my Bare Minerals and my Sonia Kashuk Duo Fiber Brush and I'm going
02:08 to buff this into my skin.
02:10 This is going to cover up anything that the Smashbox didn't cover and it's also going
02:16 to set our foundation.
02:19 This is going to prevent any cakiness just because I did a thin layer of the Smashbox
02:23 and a thin layer of the Bare Minerals, yet it's going to give a super full coverage.
02:26 I love these two products together.
02:29 As you can see, my skin was super, super red and just uneven and crazy and this just completely
02:35 gives a flawless look to the skin.
02:39 Next, being that the Bare Minerals is a little bit dewy and I have oily skin, I'm going to
02:43 take this L'Oreal True Match Mineral Powder, which is new and I love it, and I'm just going
02:48 to dust it over the areas where I get oily.
02:52 If you have dry skin, you can totally skip this step.
02:55 I want to watch Barbie!
02:56 You want to watch Barbie?
02:57 Baby, I'm making a video, honey.
02:58 I want to watch Barbie!
03:01 Okay, so now we're here.
03:05 I look a little pasty and ghost-like.
03:08 So I'm going to take my Revlon Photo Ready Bronzed in Chic Powder and I'm going to take
03:13 this brush.
03:15 You want to use a brush that looks like this because it's perfect for contouring.
03:19 And I'm just going to sketch out where I want to contour and then I'm going to go back in
03:22 and blend.
03:23 I find that this is easier than the whole foundation and concealer, like liquid contouring.
03:29 This is just beginner-friendly and super, super quick and easy.
03:34 And I feel you get the same effect as you would with contouring with foundation and
03:38 concealer.
03:39 So I'm just hitting around my hairline and then of course my cheekbones.
03:54 Also be sure to hit the jawline and you shouldn't be able to tell where your contour line starts
04:00 and ends.
04:01 It should be a nice, seamless blend.
04:03 Next I'm taking a slanted eyeshadow brush, which is, I wouldn't say like a medium size.
04:08 You don't want to grab anything too big or too small.
04:11 Something that's going to fit perfectly to contour your nose.
04:15 And I like to start at the beginning of my brow and blend up into my brows actually.
04:19 And just take it on the sides of my nose, blending it out fairly well.
04:24 And I like to take it to the tip of my nose and kind of round the bulb of my nose out.
04:41 Next I'm taking NYX Pinched Blush.
04:42 I love this color for fair skin.
04:44 Actually, this looks great on any skin tone I find.
04:48 And then I'm taking a small blush brush and applying this just above where I contoured.
04:53 You want your contour to blend up into the blush.
04:56 The blush to blend down into the contour.
05:00 Next I'm going to take the brush I applied my powder with and just blend out so it's
05:06 not too loud and crazy.
05:08 Then I'm taking my MAC 187 Dual Fiber Brush, picking up that matte bronzer that we used
05:13 to contour.
05:14 And I'm doing the number three on each side of my face and then kind of just blending
05:20 this all over.
05:21 You want to make sure you don't have a lot of color.
05:23 Just really, really lightly dust this over just to add a little bit of color and blend
05:28 everything together.
05:31 Skin is done.
05:32 Now I'm going to apply my eyebrows.
05:34 I actually have a separate tutorial on this.
05:37 So if you want to watch my eyebrow tutorial, be sure to click on this screen or the link
05:41 will be down below.
05:43 And then I'm going in with my Sena Cosmetics eyebrow kit.
05:48 I'm taking the middle shade and a crease brush and I'm going to apply this in my crease.
05:52 I do this no matter what look I do.
05:54 So if I'm doing a smoky eye, a colored eye, I always apply a matte brown in my crease
06:00 for blending purposes.
06:02 So I do this probably 95% of the time.
06:05 Actually 99% of the time, I want to say.
06:09 So you just want to focus, concentrate this color in the crease and then you can use your
06:13 fingertip to blend out any harsh line or edges.
06:27 Taking a flat concealer brush in Max Fluff and I am taking this to my brow bone and just
06:34 underneath the shape of my brow.
06:36 I love using my fingers for makeup so don't be afraid to use your fingers to do any blending
06:42 or any work with your fingers.
06:45 So after you have your highlight on your brow bone, you can also take it to the inner corner
06:50 of your eyes.
06:51 I cannot talk today.
06:52 This is just going to make the eyes pop.
06:57 I love this effect.
06:58 Then I'm taking my Smashbox Full Exposure palette.
07:01 Love, love this palette.
07:03 It is awesome.
07:05 I'm taking the very first coppery brown color with my fingertip.
07:09 Don't look at my nails, I know they look horrible.
07:11 Please forgive me.
07:13 Tap off any excess and you're going to use your ring finger to pack this on the lower
07:18 lid.
07:19 You're also going to use your finger to blend it up into that matte brown.
07:24 Like I said earlier, that's our blending shade.
07:27 So once you get the color on the lid, whatever color it is, it should blend up into your
07:35 crease and I love using my finger for my lower lid.
07:39 Next I'm taking this Soho small crease brush and I'm taking Stilglamorous Cosmetics Pigment
07:45 in Skinny Dip, which is the most gorgeous copper color ever.
07:49 I'm going to focus this color on the lower lash line.
08:01 Then you're going to take a clean pencil brush or a small brush that looks similar to this
08:06 and you're going to blend out any edges.
08:09 So it's a nice blended look and you want to take a clean brush to do that.
08:14 Then I'm going to take this black eyeliner that I got in my Ipsy bag a few months ago.
08:17 I love this eyeliner.
08:19 And I'm going to line my waterline.
08:40 Next I'm going to use MAC Pen Ultimate Felt Tip Eyeliner and I'm going to use short strokes
08:46 to create a very thin line.
08:49 I love this eyeliner.
08:50 And then I'm going to wing this out.
08:54 You can wing it out a lot if you want.
08:56 You can keep it really really small.
08:57 Whatever you're comfortable with, do that.
09:01 And I also have a how to wing eyeliner tutorial.
09:06 I'll leave that down below too.
09:08 But basically I just like to start and drag it inward to create my wing.
09:15 Next I'm using Jordana's Best Lash Mascara.
09:18 Applied that on my top and bottom lashes.
09:21 And then I lined my lips with NYX Pickaboo Pink.
09:24 It's a natural lip liner.
09:26 Love this color.
09:27 Totally failed on my shot here.
09:30 I kind of went out of the screen.
09:33 But real quick while I'm applying my lip liner.
09:36 I ended up skipping applying false eyelashes just because I wanted to create a look where
09:41 you really didn't need false eyelashes.
09:43 The eyeliner and the eyeshadow kind of gives the eyes a nice little pop.
09:46 So next I applied Romand's 101 Lipstick.
09:49 Love this pink lipstick.
09:50 It's one of my most used lipsticks actually.
09:53 And then I took a q-tip just to clean and blend the lipstick and lip liner together.
09:58 And that is all.
09:59 That's it.
10:00 I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial and learned something new.
10:03 And I will see y'all tomorrow.
10:05 Peace!
