Cheerleading hair and makeup abbyscott

00:00 Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel. Today I'm going to be doing my cheer hair and makeup.
00:05 So if you didn't know I did cheerleading, I have a competition on Saturday, so that's in three days.
00:10 And I thought as I'm doing a vlog, I thought I would do the makeup and the hair so you could see it, what it looks like.
00:15 So this is what I've achieved by using the things that we need to use for my cheer competition.

00:25 The first product that I used was a L'Oreal Lumi by Gique base and I use this to illuminate my skin from underneath and also to prime my face as it's a glow from within primer.
00:37 I use MAC's Pro Longwear Foundation as it's a very long wearing foundation and it's also a shade darker so it's sort of stage makeup as you want to be able to see it from a distance as it's going to be performing to a lot of people.
00:52 So the makeup really needs to stand out.
00:55 I had to use my Collection Master Concealer as it's one of my favourite concealers as it's very long wearing and it's also high coverage so it's going to highlight and undupe my eyes and cover any blemishes that I need to conceal.
01:14 I then just went in with my MAC Studio Fix to set everything as it's a really good skin tone. It's more of a pressed powder but a very high coverage and I use that to set everything in place so it will last for the whole day.
01:24 Then went in with my NYC Smooth Skin Bronzer as I really wanted to define my cheekbones and stand out more because as it is sort of stage makeup I want everything to be really defined.
01:38 I had to use my Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso as it's the perfect highlighting blush shade.
01:44 Now I would just like to warn you that my eye makeup does get really intense but this is how it has to be.
01:49 So I just took my ELF Eyelid Primer in Sheer just to prime my eyes as it's my favourite eyelid primer. I think it's better than the Urban Decay one and it's really cheap at only £2.
02:01 So I used my favourite Naked palette, this is Naked 2. I used the four colours Verve, Wide Decay, Busted and Blackout to intensify my eyeshadow.
02:12 I used Verve which I'm using now as you can see it's a very white silvery shade and then I went in with Blackout and Busted later on as you can see I'm doing Blackout now and it's a very dark look.
02:30 I'm now just going in with Wide Decay and Busted I think mixed together to sort of bronze the look up so it's not as dark but it's still got a very dark look to it.
02:39 So this is where the look gets messy. I used Barry M Fine Glitter Dust in number 4. It's a very shimmery eyeshadow and it's to add glitter to my eyeshadow basically.
02:57 It's very great, I went everywhere and I was able to fall out but I really like it.
03:02 I do have an eyebrow routine coming up soon but I just used a pencil and then a very long wearing gel to set that all in place.
03:14 These two are my favourite mascaras. I used Benefit's Roller Lash and Benefit's They're Real to really intensify my eyelashes, make them volumise longer because I really want to stand out from the black eyeshadow and the eyeliner which I go onto later.
03:29 I then moisturised my lips with a Babylip Dr. Rescue in Coral Crave not to add much tint but just to moisturise my lips for the day.
03:40 I didn't show much of me doing my hair because it really didn't work on camera. I didn't feel comfortable showing you how I did it but it actually doesn't go up in a ponytail.
03:48 So where the ponytail is it goes up in a bun instead but everything's the same. I just thought for the purpose of this video I would just do a ponytail.
03:57 Once I was happy with it, the ponytail and the quiff kind of looks like this. I did pull the quiff out more so it looks a bit stronger.
04:04 This is my bow and I just placed the bow in my hair. It has our star on for All Star Heroes which is my group that I train with.
04:11 I really like this hair look. I just think it looks really cute and the bow just looks really nice.
