00:00 Hi guys, welcome back to my channel. Today I'm going to show you a Lorde inspired makeup
00:04 from one of the face charts that was created for her by MAC. And this is from her new MAC
00:10 collection that was released sometime in June. So I'm going to begin by spraying some Vitamin
00:15 D toner mist on my face. And this is kind of a way to refreshen my face just before
00:22 my makeup application. And then I'm going to apply some BB cream. I'm not using foundation,
00:28 I'm using BB cream because my face is in pretty good condition today so I decided to use a
00:33 light coverage. And this one is by Clinique, it's Age Defense BB cream with SPF 30. And
00:39 I'm using a Morphe MB6 brush to buff that into the skin. I like this tinted moisturizer
00:46 because it stays on even though in Tanzania the weather is pretty humid. So it also protects
00:52 me from the sun. Now I'm going to just brighten up my under area using MAC Pro Longwear Concealer
00:59 and I'm using Hair and Makeup Addiction, the Queen brush, to kind of buff that on the under
01:05 area. And now I'm going to prime my lids to ensure the eyeshadow stays in place throughout
01:09 the day. I'm using Lime Crime Eyeshadow Helper and I'm dabbing it on all over the lids. And
01:15 then I'm going to apply my first shade which is Nylon by MAC and I'm going to mix that
01:21 with Naked Lunch by MAC. And I'm going to just highlight my brow bone using this shade
01:27 and I'm using Morphe S30 brush to just apply that just underneath the brow bone to highlight
01:34 it. I'm going to take the same shade and just apply that on the tear duct area and this
01:42 will kind of open up the eyes and just make them appear brighter. And then I'm going to
01:46 take the same shade, just using another brush by Morphe and this one is M422. It's a flat
01:53 shader brush, the size is pretty big so it's easier to apply the shade all over the lid.
02:03 Now I'm taking a Sigma E25 brush and I'm going to take this palette by Morphe, number 35W
02:15 and I'm just going to take that bronzy shade and just apply that on the outer part of my
02:20 eye, just the outer C. And that's all she had, I believe, from the face chart that she
02:27 didn't have any other eyeshadow on. She just had like two shades. It was pretty light,
02:33 you know, there's not much to the eye makeup really. It's just two shades kind of blended
02:39 well together and just buffing it really well. And now I'm going to take a smaller brush,
02:46 this one's by Morphe again and it's M408. I'm just applying that on the lower lash line.
02:56 Now I'm going to curl my lashes and I'm not wearing any false lashes today because she
03:04 doesn't really wear any falsies. I haven't seen pictures of her wearing any false lashes
03:09 so I'm just, you know, applying mascara on my natural lashes. And they've grown pretty
03:15 much since the last time I've shown my natural lashes on the video. I've actually used this
03:22 serum called Lelash and it really helped basically extend the length of my lashes and also thicken
03:31 them a little bit. If you've seen my previous videos, they were pretty short and they weren't
03:37 this full. So I'm applying it on the lower lash line as well. And if they get a little
03:44 bit clumpy, you can just take an eyelash brush and kind of brush it through. And now I'm
03:54 going to move on to the lips. First I'm lining them using MAC's Heroine lip liner and I'm
04:00 going to basically go over the lips with a darker liner. This one is Night Moth by MAC.
04:07 So mixing the two shades together will kind of give me that dark violet shade that she
04:12 was wearing because I don't have the exact same shade of lipstick that she has. I believe
04:18 it's pure Heroine but I have the old Heroine which was released a couple of years ago.
04:23 So I'm lining my lips and then I'm going to apply the Heroine lipstick by MAC just over
04:29 and this will give me that rich violet shade. The lower lip has a pretty pale complexion
04:36 much like mine so I'm going to apply some blot powder in the shade Medium. This one's
04:44 by MAC and I'm applying it using a Morphe MB34 brush. I'm just going to apply it all
04:50 over my face. Now I'm going to apply some bronzer. I'm going to use a bronzer by MAC
04:58 and I'm going to apply some bronzer. I'm using Anastasia Beverly Hills contour kit and a
05:05 contour brush just to apply that in the hollows of my cheeks and just about the sides of my
05:10 forehead, the top of the forehead as well. Just make sure it's well blended and there's
05:17 no visible lines. Now we're going to apply some blush. I'm using Tarte Amazonian Clay
05:25 blush on an angled brush by Morphe and I just got these brushes. They're really, really
05:31 affordable. I got so many of them so I decided to use them in this video for whoever wants
05:36 more affordable brushes. It's an idea. Now I'm going to highlight my cheekbones. I'm
05:41 using Estee Lauder's Heat Wave and this brush by Sigma. It's number F35. I'm just applying
05:53 it on the highest points of my cheekbones and the bridge of my nose. Time to do my hair.
05:59 I don't usually do hair tutorial guys but I just decided to do a quick one just to show
06:03 you how I got the curls. So I'm going to apply this heat protectant spray by Tresemme and
06:10 then I'm going to use this curling iron by Bombay Hair and this wand is like this. She
06:16 doesn't have really defined curls so it's kind of a messy curl so I'm going to first
06:23 curl small sections at a time and then I'm kind of going to brush through the curls to
06:28 get that loose curly look like she has. And I'm sure you noticed that I've cut my hair
06:35 so ever since I tried to change my hair color from black to brown it was quite a journey
06:41 cause I had to bleach my hair and it got pretty damaged so I had to cut off quite a bit of
06:46 it but I'm just using my oil treatment now and it has grown quite a bit so let's see.
06:52 I'm going to have another video just showing you how I grew back my hair as soon as it's
06:57 grown. So I'm going to tease it a bit to get some volume like Lordy had. Lord, sorry, I
07:03 don't know how you pronounce the name. I hope it's Lord. So anyway this is the final look
07:08 guys. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and if you like this video don't forget to thumbs
07:13 up and thank you for suggesting it. And if you have any other requests to see any other
07:20 celebrity looks or whatever kind of looks you guys want you can just leave your comments
07:25 below and vote on it so we'll have another video really soon. Thank you for watching
07:30 again. I hope you enjoyed this and I'll see you all really soon with another look. Bye
07:35 guys. God bless you. See you soon.
07:37 ...lit and then I'm going to apply my first shade which is Nylon by MAC and I'm going
07:44 to mix that with Naked Lunch by MAC and I'm going to just highlight my brow bone using
08:02 the shade and I'm using Morphe S30 brush to just apply that just underneath the brow bone
08:09 to highlight it. I'm going to take the same shade and just apply that on the tear duct
08:17 area and this will kind of open up the eyes and just make them appear brighter. And then
08:22 I'm going to take the same shade just using another brush by Morphe and this one is M422.
08:32 It's a flat shader brush. The size is pretty big so it's easier to apply the shade all
08:38 over the lid. Now I'm taking a Sigma E25 brush and I'm going to take this palette by Morphe
08:45 No. 35W and I'm just going to take that bronzy shade and just apply that on the outer part
08:56 of my eye, just the outer C and that's all she had I believe from the face chart that
09:03 she didn't have any other eye shadow on. And if they get a little bit clumpy you can just
09:10 take an eyelash brush and kind of brush it through. And now I'm going to move on to the
09:16 lips. First I'm lining them using MAC's Heroine lip liner and I'm going to basically go over
09:24 the lips with a darker liner. This one is Night Moth by MAC. So mixing the two shades
09:30 together will kind of give me that dark violet shade that she was wearing because I don't
09:35 have the exact same shade of lipstick that she has. I believe it's pure Heroine but I
09:40 have the Old Heroine which was released a couple of years ago. So I'm lining my lips
09:45 and then I'm going to apply the Heroine lipstick by MAC just over and this will give me that
09:52 rich violet shade. Lorde has pretty pale complexion much like mine so I'm going to apply some
09:59 blood powder in the shade Medium. This one's by MAC and I'm applying it using a Morphe
10:08 MB34 brush. I'm just going to apply it all over my face. Now I'm going to apply some
10:20 bronzer. Hi guys! Welcome back to my channel. Today I'm going to show you a Lorde inspired
