00:00 Hey guys! Welcome back to my channel. Today I decided to do a how to apply makeup video.
00:07 So you are going to be watching me from the very beginning without any makeup at all and
00:14 showing you along the way tips and exactly how you should apply makeup. So, I hope you
00:21 enjoy the video and don't forget to comment, like, subscribe, all that good stuff and keep
00:28 watching. Thank you! Alright, so the first thing you want to do when applying makeup
00:33 is to always moisturize your face. I'm using the Clean and Clear Dual Action Moisturizer.
00:38 I really recommend moisturizing your face if you have super dry skin. Moisturizer helps
00:43 keep your skin hydrated and it also makes the foundation look smooth and won't show
00:48 the dryness of your skin. This next step is optional. I'm just using this L'Oreal ID4
00:55 Defense Cream because I have really bad under eye circles and bags so this will help correct
01:02 that. A big tip for if you want your foundation and whatever else products you use on your
01:23 face to stay the whole day is to definitely prime your face. I'm just using the Rimmel
01:30 London Fix and Perfect Pro Face Primer. I'm using the Rimmel London Fix and Perfect Pro
01:37 Face Primer. This next step is also optional. It is just a L'Oreal Magic BB Cream. This
01:44 product comes out green but when rubbed into the face it transforms into your skin color.
02:04 I absolutely love this because if I don't have a bad breakout or any blemishes I just
02:09 use this instead of applying any other type of product. If you couldn't tell this product
02:16 is already evening out my skin tone. It is almost completely covering up my blemishes.
02:29 And if you didn't know, BB stands for blemish balm. The next step is applying your liquid
02:36 foundation. Obviously you want to apply this before you do your powder foundation. For
02:56 this I'm just squeezing out my product onto my hand and then I'm dotting it onto my face.
03:03 Then I'm going to be using the Real Techniques Stippling Brush to blend this out all over
03:15 my face. If you are going to use your fingers then I definitely recommend washing your hands.
03:24 As you can see I don't really have a definite technique to doing this. I just tend to go
03:28 into circular motions or just brushing it out.
03:35 If your liquid foundation is a different shade than your skin tone then I definitely
04:01 recommend bringing it down to your neck and it depends on what type of shirt you wear
04:06 and how low cut it is, then I recommend putting it down in your neck also.
04:13 The next step is to apply concealer. You are going to apply this underneath your eyes and
04:30 on top of any blemishes that your foundation didn't cover. You are also going to want to
04:34 apply this around your nostrils because most women tend to get red around there.
04:41 Next I am just using a damp Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge to just blend this
04:53 out.
05:00 For the next step I am using my L'Oreal True Match Super Blendable Powder in the color
05:06 Nude Beige. Then I am going to be using my ELF Studio Powder Brush to apply this. You
05:11 want to just push this onto your face. You don't want to swipe at all because you are
05:16 going to move the product you have underneath it. Just press it down onto the face.
05:46 For this next step I am taking my Wet N' Wild Bronzer in the color Bikini Contest and I
05:50 am using my ELF Angled Bronzing Brush. I am just placing this bronzer exactly where I
05:56 would put my contour.
06:03 As you can see I am showing you that you don't want to go any farther out than the outer
06:08 part of your eye and you are going to use the top of your ear as a guide also.
06:16 You are also going to want to bring the bronzer along the outer part of your forehead.
06:23 And then bring it down along your jaw line.
06:41 The next thing I am doing I am just going ahead and using my True Match Super Blendable
06:48 Blush in the color Rosy Outlook and I am just using my ELF Studio Blush Brush. You don't
06:57 really want to smile so much, you just want to put it on the apples of your cheeks.
07:05 The next step I am going to be taking my Wet N' Wild Color Cone Bronzer in the color
07:12 Reserve Your Cabana. I use this as my highlighter and I am just going to place that on the tops
07:20 of my cheekbones, down the bridge of my nose, on my cupid's bow and on my chin.
07:24 Then I am going to go back in with my ELF Studio Powder Brush with absolutely no other
07:28 product on it and just blend that all out.
07:35 Then I am going to use my Rimmel Stay Matte Press Powder in the color Natural and I am
07:46 just going to place this on the parts that I get most oily. So that would be my forehead,
07:50 underneath my eyes and a little bit on my chin.
07:58 Next I am going to use my NYX Eyebrow Pencil in the color Medium Brown. I really have no
08:03 definite technique to doing this, I usually just go with my hairline. Excuse my messy
08:08 disgusting eyebrows, I am trying to grow them out to make them thicker.
08:15 Next I am going to use my NYX High Definition Eyeshadow Base. Just like priming your face,
08:41 you also want to prime your eyelids. Priming your eyelids helps make your eyeshadow stay
08:46 in place the whole day.
08:53 Next I am going to be taking my Maybelline 24 Hour Color Tattoo in the color Barely
09:05 Branded. This is also a good base color for what I am going to be doing with my eyes today.
09:10 I also really like this product because it is kind of sticky so it helps my eyeshadow
09:14 stay better too.
09:21 Next I am going to be using my NYX Natural Eyeshadow Palette and this flat eyeshadow
09:32 brush from the Elf Essentials line. I am going to be using this Nude Matte color as my base
09:37 color. So I am just going to be applying this all over my lid and all the way up to my brow
09:44 bone.
09:49 Then I am going to be taking my Maybelline The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette and I am going
09:55 to be using this matte brown tone color in my crease. I am going to be using my Elf Studio
10:02 Eyeshadow Sea Brush to apply this.
10:09 Again I am using the same palette and I am just going to be using a darker brown tone
10:24 color with the same eyeshadow brush.
10:27 When applying eyeshadow on your crease you just want to go in windshield wiper motions
10:31 back and forth side to side.
10:38 Then I am going to be taking my L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in the color Iced Latte. I am going
10:59 to be using my finger to apply this. I am just going to smush my finger on there and
11:03 then I am just going to press this onto the middle parts of my eyelid. I am not going
11:07 to move it back and forth.
11:14 Again using the same eyeshadow palette I am just going to go in with a darker brown tone
11:21 color. I am going to be mainly focusing that into the outer V of my eye and then right
11:26 in the crease of my eyelid.
11:33 I am just going to be taking my eyelash curler and obviously curling my eyelashes. A helpful
11:44 tip is to use your hair blow dryer to heat it up and it will help them curl better.
11:47 Then I am going to be taking my Rare Bug Colorstay Eyeliner Pencil in the color Black and just
11:53 tight lining my waterline. I like doing this since I have short lashes it kind of brings
11:59 out my lash line a little bit better.
12:01 Then I am just going to be applying this a little bit on the outer corner of my bottom
12:07 waterline.
12:07 Then I am going to take my Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Liner in the color Blackest Black
12:14 and I am just using the little paint brush that came with it. I am obviously just going
12:20 to be applying this on my top lash line.
12:27 Then I am just going to be applying this on my lower lash line.
12:34 Next if you haven't figured out already, I am going to be using my Too Faced Glow In
12:41 the shade #3.
12:48 Next if you haven't figured out already, Q-tips are magic erasers when it comes to
13:06 removing little makeup mistakes.
13:13 Then I am going back in with my Maybelline The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette. I am just using
13:32 a small brush to apply this matte black and I am just literally focusing this on the outer
13:37 V and on the bottom of my lash line.
13:44 Then I am just going to be using my Too Faced Glow In The Shade #3.
13:51 Again, using the same palette, I am just using an angled brush to apply this nude eyeshadow.
13:58 Then I am just going to be using my Maybelline The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette.
14:05 Again, using the same palette, I am just using an angled brush to apply this nude matte
14:12 color as my highlighter color and to help blend out the harsh lines from the darker
14:27 colors of my crease.
14:35 Then I am going to be using my Maybelline The Falsies Big Eyes Mascara in the color
14:42 black. The best technique for applying mascara is by focusing it on your roots and by moving
14:49 the brush horizontally.
14:56 Then I am going to be using my Maybelline The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette. Again, using
15:03 an angled brush to apply this nude eyeshadow.
15:10 Then I am going to be using my Maybelline The Great Lash Lots of Lashes Mascara in the
15:28 color black. I like to layer my mascaras with different products. A good tip if you want
15:33 to layer mascaras is to use one that volumizes and then to use one that lengthens.
15:40 A tip when applying your bottom mascara, you can place a plastic spoon or even a tissue
15:52 right underneath your bottom lash line so no product gets on your face.
15:59 Then I am going to be using a q-tip to clean up my bottom waterline.
16:06 Then I am going to be using my Rimmel Scandal Eyes Kohl Pencil Liner in the color nude and
16:15 applying this on my bottom waterline where I don't have the black liner. If you want
16:20 your eyes to appear larger, then you want to be using a nude or a white liner on your
16:24 waterline.
16:26 Then I am going back into my Maybelline The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette and I am using another
16:33 small eyeshadow brush and I am applying a shimmery white in the corners of my eyelids.
16:39 This will help brighten up your look.
16:49 Then I am going to be taking my chapstick to moisturize my lips.
16:53 Then I am going to be taking my Rimmel London Exaggerate Full Color Lip Liner in the color
16:57 East End Snob and lining my lips.
17:14 Then I am going to be taking my L'Oreal Collection Exclusive by Julienne Lipstick in the color
17:19 Julienne Nude and I am just going to be applying this on my lips.
17:26 And we are all done! I hope you find some of my tips useful and I hope you enjoyed this
17:37 video. Thank you for watching and don't forget to subscribe!
